I never really comment recs on YT reaction videos but I really like you guys. Your reactions seem genuine. You probs already have a lot of recs. But if Black swan isn't on that list I really hope you add it. It's easily my fav BTS song. Cause the lyrics so relatable and the melody is just so beautiful. The video and visuals are stunning. Its funny cause its the first BTS song I reacted to but I didn't like it as much as I do now, It wasn't until I read the lyrics and understood more about the boys that I found myself loving it. Has such a beautiful message. Its like a breath of fresh air compared to superficial happy/sad songs that are popularised.
Also another rec is the cyphers from the rap line. Preferably live with captions.
Another thing is that its okay to not like a BTS song. I'm an army and I'm not a fan of their fully english songs (they have 3). Its a bit too cringe for me and is what turned me off BTS at first. They've kind of grown on me, but it took a long while. I don't like a decent amount of their songs but they have a lot of genres. There's really something for everyone.
Outro Tear live at Wembley is a pretty epic performance by the BTS rappers. Really appreciated this reaction!

They aren't actually bragging. Literally have so many trophies they can't count them, a wall of hundreds at the label's museum. AND, they literally sell out 60K+ sports stadiums (recently L.A. x4 shows & Las Vegas x4 shows this week) BEFORE tickets can be offered to the general public.
Réaction to bts - an introduction to the 7 members of bts (2021 update)
There are 3 rappers in BTS and they all have solo mix tapes as well. I recommend Deachwita by Agust D a.k.a Suga in BTS also The last by him as well lyric video there is no MV for it but it is one of my favorites. RM Monster lyric video and Joke also Doolset has great translations for BTS music. Jhope Airplane. If you want to see them all together I recommend Outro tear live at wembley with English subs. They also have 4 Cyphers you could react to.
Wonder what you'd be into. Some of my favorite BTS-tracks are: "Outro: Tear", "Ugh", "Ddaeng", "Intro: Shadow", "First Love", "Joke". You seem to respond well to lyrics, so there's a lot for you to enjoy in BTS songwriting (which is time and time again been pointed out as a definite strong suit anda place where they really differentiate from a lot of artist. Songs like "13430" (also called Pluto) is such a brilliant masterpiece, where I suppose you don't need a lot of cultural knowledge to get the references and wordplays - only some physics knowledge ;) Honestly, the wast majority of their songs are lyrical gems, but even more powerful when heard in connection to the album and the story it tells throughout the albums (they're connected and therefore adding another layer by hearing them in order).
If they seem like flexing, they are but more towards their haters. If you get to check out their past hardships later then you would understand them doing this song. Do check out cypher 1 to 4 to. It's actually a play on a specific Korean saying about shocking someone's cornea. They've slipped it in here with a little bit of a twist to give it an extra dig for native speakers.

To explain a little bit about the background of Mic Drop, BTS is from a small company that almost went bankrupt, so they have been very looked down and hated by Korean broadcasting stations and other K-pop fandom. So they have struggled from the beginning to prove themselves.
It's a song for their haters. :)
The direction of Mic Drop's lyrics began with the idea of J-Hope, the main dancer and dance leader of BTS.
And 'Mic Drop' at the end of this music video is a performance created by BTS leader RM inspired by Barack Obama's speech. :)

It's not an official MAMA video broadcast on TV, but a full-cam taken by Big Hit. I recommend this because the camera work on MAMA is so messed up.
In this performance, Mic Drop was their 4th song, so the members were exhausted and held on with their mental strength only. And, there were even three dance breaks at this time.
I can feel all of them Even if I die, I will die on stage. The energy is crazy!

I know that they might sound like they're just flexing on this song but the truth goes deeper beyond that. Anyone who knows BTS history, the struggle, the hate they received from people who frontly told them they won't make it in this industry and up to this day invalidate BTS success. They're one of the most hardworking artists, each and everyone of them.
One thing I loved abt your reaction vid is the fact that you took the time to try and understand the meaning of the song. Bts are amazing and really witty songwriters, so it's nice to see ppl go beyond the usual and try to appreciate that part too :)

I feel like y'all would really dig "UGH" by BTS. The song critiques modern anger and it's heavy on lyricism - there's a great explanation of the korean double meanings by "DKDK TV explains"

When you notice that this MV is from 2017. They've already reached at this level. I really want new listerens who start with BTS's English track, such as Dynamite, permission to dance, to listen their Korean track. They are sooo versatile and the production value is top-notch.

That’s the real subtitle to that and bts have 3 rappers and 4 vocalist. That song is about the people saying that they are not talented you want to know them please react to an introduction to the 7 members of bts ( 2021 updated ) and react to their dance practices they are great dancers .
It's not entirely translated to the best English equivalent, though. Sometimes direct translations are confusing because they lack the context of the original language for us to get it. For instance "foot foot watch it" is not something we'd ever say. A better lyrics translation would come from something like DoolSet or something.
You should definitely react to Outro: Tear live by the rap line of BTS which is RM, Suga and J-Hope

BTS have come a long , not easy way since they debut back in 2013, they got a huge amount of hate for so small reasons , but they kept going on their own way and now they are ones of the bigest artist in the world ( i mean literally winners of 2021 AMA 's artist of the year ). Their music first of all is so good ( for me is the best, i never listen to anything else so much as listem to them), the lyricism and meaning are at another level ( they write most of their lyrisc and has so many deep and didden meanings that some of their videos need and have explanations videos 😁). If you want some bars, you should check RM's Joke, August D' August D, DDang - these are from the rap line in BTS, and they are all adressed to their haters, there are 3 rappers in BTS : RM, Suga/August D and J-hope. Though I do recommend listening to a lyric video first, to hear the studio version and see the translation. Then when you watch the live, you can concentrate on the actual performance itself. Outro: Tear is a rap-line song, meaning only the 3 rappers without the 4 vocalists. All of the rap-line songs are fire, you guys would probably like them a lot. Unfortunately all the rap-line songs don't have music videos.
Each of the 3 rappers also wrote and produced their own rap solo mixtapes. They spent million of dollars to make their rap solo work and released all their songs for free. So it's not about the money for them, they have a real passion for music, especially hiphop. Their mixtapes are really good, and show you each rapper's individual style, skill and story. J-hope released his re-make as a free song. There's a great music vide he filmed for it. He did it all just to pay homage to his hiphop dancing roots, as he was trained hiphop dancer prior to BTS. CNS was one of the first songs he remembers dancing to.

Their song Hip Hop Lover is basically them paying homage to hiphop. Their lyrics reference a lot of og legends of rap, so you'll have to be a real hiphop head to recognize all their references. No music video again, here's a live performance:

BTS's roots is hiphop/rap. Their rap talent is not showcased in their viral songs like these title tracks and singles. Mic Drop is still more pop than anything. These are still great songs, but in case you want to hear more hiphop-heavy BTS songs, you'll have to venture away from the viral songs. Their hiphop-heavy work is not promoted in the mainstream, but they're very popular amongst fans. A lot of BTS's most popular songs don't even have music videos, so you can't really judge the popularity of a song by viewcount.
Also, the 3 rappers are the primary songwriters and producers for the group. They are accredited to more than 100 songs each. RM is closer to 200 songs. RM and Suga (aka Agust D) also write/produce for other artists, and Suga has won an award for producing before.

3 not 2 RM, Suga(aka Agust D) and J Hope. (Surrey Girl here) This song will always have a special meaning for me as it was my gateway into Hip Hop, Rap and Drill even thought it's still quite light. I love it when RM, Suga and J-Hope start spitting bars.
My faverite BTS song is Answer love myself. The meaning of this song is on a nother level (very émotionnal) if you want to react to this song do a live version with eng sub.

As British collaborations go, the leader/main rapper of the group RM (the one going out of the ambulance lol) has 2 songs where he collab'd with HONNE (Seoul in his mixtape and Crying over you in Honne's catalogue)

No army cares about what language the song is in, we lap up everything they put out. There's truly something for everybody when you consider all 7 guys have their strengths and tastes. V is very much into jazzy soul R'n'B. The recommendations below are all good, outro tear, on kinetic, Daechwita, black swan... I'd add singularity to the list, and watch out, it comes with a pregnancy warning 😂💜

I suggest you react to BTS Black Swan and BTS ON Kinetic Manifesto since you asked about suggestions for more melodic BTS songs to react to. Also I have to say Fire is one of BTS's earlier songs that is really good and the video is fun.
Okay BTS has 3 rappers, RM (leader), Suga (Agust D - Rap name) & Jhope (also vocalist). They have some of the best solo mixtapes as well released. In BTS its known as the Rap Line, there is the Cypher series pt 1, pt 2, pt 3 & pt 4 all of which BTS army loves and rappers as well. There is also solo music the boys have released. Two of my favourites I would pick would be RM's Joke, you will be lucky to find an english lyric video on it but he switches flows faster than you can breath, there is also Agust D - Daechwita which is more recent and awesome rap as well as visuals. Keep in mind any songs you like there is also dance choreo videos for. There is also information videos by a youtuber called Xceleste, which is introduction to BTS & BTS Hardships, which explains why army and BTS are so tightly connected. There is also tons of content and i mean times of behind the scenes, funny content, interviews, there own variety shows like Run BTS, & BTS in the soop. BTS have been around since 2013 for die hard fans there is a complexed storyline connecting videos called BT universe with deeply woven fictional storyline which is like alice in wonderland down the rabbit hole. Its very deep. There is tons of content on these boys and people new to BTS always find a genre of music they do which appeals to them which is why they are well loved. They are even recently going to perform in Vegas for 4 days I think it is as well as Grammy's (with 2 members on hold right now due to covid), they have won awards as the AMA's already but they are nomination for a Grammy this year as well.......
