Each member would be unsure if they should even pursue the quest because of the curse.
Omg wait, I just thought of another idea. Instead of having 3 members of the Winx go to a specific for the quest. Why not have ONE fairy from each home planet to do a specific riddle/mission to acquire a gem for Sirenix? Like, what if each riddle asked one fairy to go to her home planet and are required to use their powers to solve the riddle and procure a gem of Sirenix. Or better yet, each mission asks two fairies cause their powers are needed, we could’ve gotten interesting duos and matchups we don’t often see like Bloom and Musa, Aisha and Tecna, Flora and Stella. Flora and Musa and etc. Aisha and Stella with a moon and water combo 👀 🌙💧
That reminded me of that one MLP season with the map thing that sent them places lmao (I think it would've been a good idea to do something like that to be clear)

Believix was probably the most marketable form because of the designs. The outfits looked like regular clothes with a sprinkle of fairy dust. Not everybody likes fairytale creatures so a glam and modern fairy transformation was also good for expanding the audience (and doll sales). The wing designs are also very appealing and iconic. They got interesting shapes and the wing patterns are inspired by the winx’s powers and familar elements (for example Bloom’s hearts and Stella’s stars), which makes them more recognizable.
believix will always be really iconic to me because when i was little they had mcdonald's toys with them in the believix outfits which was my first brush with winx club. i still have the toys somewhere (i got bloom, musa, and flora)
I honestly think that Rainbow/Nickelodeon actually intended to make "The Lilo" a first episode BUT later they realized that Trix are free in this episode when they should've been imprisoned at the time (before Tritannus released them) so they changed the order of episodes trying to fix the mistake that they made
Interestingly enough, as much as I love the Harmonix designs(they are absolutely stunning) they are literally the worst thing possible for underwater exploration. Long flowy train skirts with long flowing hair isn't gonna do anything except slow you down as much as possible. I actually liked Sirenix a lot more in that sense cause it's designed to look like wetsuits and most of their hairs are in tight ponytails which actually makes sense underwater.
Ah yes the beautiful harmonix designs also another thing I liked in this season is how the winx usually split up when it came to the missions sometimes also yes the harmonix song is so beautiful also I kinda ship Roy and nex together more than aisha and nex they should just bring back nabu and have Roy and nex be together

That's pretty neat and much preferable for having all of them do one thing and taking care on the other later.
I actually liked the Winx splitting up to go on the quests. It's kind of like a throwback to season 2 when Frangonda taught the Winx they need to apply the right fairy and power to the mission. To bad it's not implemented as well as in season 2 which we could probably say about this whole season 🤔
Something that used to confused me is why there was so much character exploration in season 5 when they seeemd to work together really well in the nick dubbed season 3 until I realised that not all season 2 was nick dubbed meaning they skipped all the incredible progression the Winx had in that season
They really should've just dubbed seasons 1 and 2 fully. They cut so much plot and character progression with the specials. The Nick voices are my favorite too so I would've especially liked to see their voices in seasons 1 and 2.
Actually the rules around interplanetary travel were retconned in later, or do I need to remind you that in episode 1 Stella, an unguarded princess was flying from Solaria to Elfea via earth to then be attacked. This girl could have easily gotten a ship from her dad. This girl has a magic teleporting scepter and a magic postcard to get there, but instead she's like "I'll walk". But yes it has gotten worse.
I usually use “gothic sirenix” as a head cannon when you talk about sirenix in the rewrite, it has a look similar to harmonic and doesn’t look like a recollection of the same outfit.
harmonix is so beautiful, especially the skirt that looks like a wave. Gosh,why they didn't used it on sirenix? :( The Lilo episode is weird cause there is literally no reason for it to exist but at the same time I apreciate the fact that they wanted do something with Flora, like she deserves to finally have something interesting around her instead of being a punching bag every fricking time. They probably didn't give them a skirt for Sirenix because of the beta Sirenix designs. Also known as the gothic Sirenix designs. Which had the girls in long skirts. However, I wished that they kept the prototype Sirenix designs. They looked a lot cooler and gave off an underwater Enchantix feel to it.
And the Lilo? Yeah it was not handled well. If anything the writers could have used the Lilo as a plot device for Tritannus to gain more power or even a clue on how to gain access to the infinite ocean.

You know, the Whisperian crystals would have been so useful to the trix for many other searches for magical objects or places in later seasons. Maybe we should start a counter for things well established in earlier seasons that get ignored in later seasons.

Given how much effort went into Harmonix from the outfits, the song (both versions), the transformation sequence, and the spells compared to Sirenix I've always theorized that Harmonix was meant to be the main form of Season 5 early in its production but someone high up in either Nick or Rainbow pushed for dual transformations for more merchandizing so they added Sirenix late into production so they didn't have much time to fully flesh out and refine the form. It would explain why Sirenix looks SO meh compared to Harmonix.

What if the timer on the Sirenix quest _itself_ was the curse? Any faries who undergo the quest for Sirenix (or even touch the Sirenix Book, for extra spice) would be cursed to have their magical energy wither away until nothing is left, and they lose their powers forever. That could even be the reason why the girls go on the "Nature's Key side mission" (to get Harmonix) in this episode: they've already been cursed by coming into contact with the sirenix book, and their powers are going to be gone within the week unless they figure out a way to delay the curse's progression. Instead of being a generic transformation, Harmonix's "magical specialty" could be that it's a form that's normally immune to status effects, curses, and corruption - hence why it's talked up as being "equally effective on land, sea & sky." But the ancient Sirenix curse is too strong for Harmonix powers to cure, so it only buys them a few extra weeks at best (hence the month-long timer). Just for the sake of it (and to differentiate between Harmonix's & Enchantix's anti-curse utility), Harmonix could come with it's own specialty power: scrying magic. Each winx would have a specialty item (e.g. fortune-telling/divination tools) they can summon while in Harmonix, which helps them search for clues to completing the Sirenix quest (instead of being given step-by-step instructions by those gawddanged sirenix boxes). And then the Sirenix quest itself would be something like, _"find the missing pages of this book & put it back together!"_ Normally, the (non-cursed) quest would be a "read the Book of Sirenix for clues to find where the powerup is hidden"..... But the witches who cursed the book didn't want to risk anyone _actually completing_ the quest and throwing off the curse, so they _ripped out_ the most important pages and hid them across the magical universe. (you could explain why the witches didn't just _destroy_ the pages by claiming that they're hella durable or something).
I feel like with Roy he could be a little pushy of trying to get friendly with Aisha and maybe even wanting to date her while she's just not having it and would distance herself away from Roy and maybe when push comes to shove that Roy is just curious of why is she shutting herself out from him and she just snaps and yelling "THE MAN I WAS IN LOVE WITH DIED IN FRONT OF MY EYES! I AM NOT READY FOR ANOTHER RELATIONSHIP SO CAN U JUST BACK OFF!?" And it gives Roy like a realization and maybe he would apologize and they would start again but as friends. THAT WOULD BE EVERYTHING!! Also it can show that males can have female friends and vice versa. They don't have to be a couple. They can just be besties. How is that hard for people to understand?

My thoughts on these episodes aren't as deep as usual, but that's okay. They are as follows: 1 I LOVE Daniella Monet as Mitzi. Even back in season 1. I don't why but even as a kid she always had a look. That said to me I've always wanted to be low-key evil. With the exception of the voice actress in season 4, who I am personally not a fan of The other actresses for Moto. Do a wonderful job (especially Lisa Ortiz). With that said, their performances all focused on the mean girl aspect of her personality. I don't think it was the fault of the actresses, but rather than the direction. Regardless, it's something I would have liked to see. In fact, Daniells s performance is one of the few that really made me wish that they dubbed all of The next seasons with a completely consistent cast. I bet you would be absolutely amazing in the episode where her and her friends get turned into dark fairies. 2 I am genuinely surprised that you did not mention the dragon wing spell that saved the nature of the rainbow man told. I know it's not the most wow spell ever, but I've always thought it was really cool. 3 I realize that several of you might not get this reference, but the creature that attacks them on green or generally looks like it could be out of Magi Nation (another show) Rather than Winx club. 4 I still think that Crystal could only be Disapero's younger sister and it would explain why she introduced her in the episode
The Lilo episode is just Rainbow and Nick saying... "BUY OUR TOYS! GET MORE BELIEVIX MERCH!"...There's no plot relevance and it bugs me no matter what episode number it is because it has no relevance to the sort of plot there is this season. But I love Elizabeth Gillies singing so points for that
I completely agree that the lilo episode was “hollow” but the little things in it made me continue to watch Winx club. I loved the camera movement at 14:49. It gave me a little hope until season 6 💀😵💫

perhaps it has something to do with the leaks of some footage, including the entirety of both new transformation sequences, before season 5 even premiered ...or they just needed to extend the length of the 6th episode by adding extra material, which ended up making the entire thing make less sense

The Lilo episode reminds me a short illustrated story release a few months before S5 premiere: The Hidden Magic. As for the Lilo episode, the Winx are looking for a powerful flower that is about to bloom. But Diaspro track the Winx into a trap made by the Trix before be betrayed by the 3 witches. Then the Winx found the magic flower, Diaspro helps the Winx to fight the Trix and every one is happy. It feels like a prototype of the Lilo episode. But with a better treatment for Diaspro than all she get in S5-8.
honestly i don't mind the idea of other transformations not working underwater since every form has a very specific purpose while Enchantix acts as sort of a mixed media form. like yeah it can handle most situations but not very well. so honestly Believix not working underwater doesn't bother me too much. they should have just switched into Enchantix but even then they should struggle a bit since the form was not designed for that. Maybe they still can use their powers underwater while using Enchantix but it would just be weaker. that would be my explanation as to how they used magic underwater in their base form., they didn't try to use an extreme amount of power underwater and they didn't use their wings to try to swim faster so they simply didn't notice the fact that they were weaker. they had bigger problems to deal with🤣🤣🤣. but i wouldn't make more transformations that share one element. maybe besides for Sirenix because i feel like Sirenix's primary function is to get you into the infinite ocean, it just so happens that the infinite ocean is aquatic thus Sirenix has water as its primary theme, plus it would be extremly strong because in my mind certain types of transformations are stronger then others like Believix and Enchantix would have the same level of raw power meanwhile Sirenix would be stronger then Enchantix since it meant for protecting a whole dimention rather then your own planet. i would have their be 2 aquatic forms. Aquatix which would be a mermaid version of Enchantix. ( I imagine the great dragon doesn't like water very much so he put very little effort into this transformation lol) Aquatix would be more concentrated on protecting the ocean so their would be a big incises on natrual ways of recycling like there would be an oil and garbage delete spell for Tecna ( no it wouldn't work on anything else other then garbage). also i would flesh these forms out by adding that if your powers are the oposite of the transformation you want you'll need more energy to gain the form. like Bloom would have a much rougher time getting Sirenix then Aisha. .. christ im rewriting season 5 already-
Even with the plot wholes, it is far better and enjoyable than season 6. 1. In the paused frames, which Thomas used, most of the time the Winx looked so beautiful and like in their old animation style. 2. I do not mind Believix, because I love her as a transformation (“transformation” and “power” in Bulgarian are feminine words), however I hate how they weak made her just to have the excuse to have Sirenix… 3. I like the Sirenix Quest, as the transformation it is not given to the Winx so easily. You have to earn and prove worthy of her. 4. I do not hate Sirenix - she is iconic, yes, and I love some of the designs -Aisha is a gorgeous queen as she should be! Especially her hairstyle! Sirenix should have been used only to enter the Infinite Ocean and be a powerhouse only there. 5. I prefer Harmonix anytime and more then Sirenix! The design, the song, the clever and creative attacks and spells. Actually Harmonix and even Sirenix are the last decent transformations before we got Dreamix and Onyrix in “World of Winx” in my opinion. 6. This is also the last time where the Winx have some character arcs and development (not Stella’s fashion fiasco) of the newer season. 7. I liked the power boost of the Trix because the fights are so interesting that way. The creators failed make them more powerful and threatening as they should be by now… Seasons 7 and 8 have some decent and interesting fights between the Trix and the Winx - Season 6 is just meh… 8. Yes, I also felt that the creature with the rainbow main was very lgbt inspired. 9. Also the Sirenix Book has a female voice in the Bulgarian dub, probably because we translated it directly from English. If it was with the Italian dub, probably we were going to have a make voice. Y'know for some reason believix had made me headcannon that believix was all earth's fairies natural and definite forms. Like there was no enchantix thing for them unlike the fairies from magic dimensions. Probably cuz the believix wings were massive and like all the earth fairies had massive wings I think. There was no thought that it might be the Earth's fairies in their enchantix form cuz roxy's wings were like massive as well. So like I always headcannon that winx needed believix form for eart cuz there were no other forms that the earth fairies had and earth fairies should function on magic similar to believix right where they do need the belief of the people from earth for their magic. Like them disappearing cuz of the wizards made them weak cuz the ppl stopped believing in magic or sth idk. Anyways I just wanted them to explore that with Roxy cuz the girl's normal fairy form had wings massive then any of them had in enchantix
God Harmonix is such a beautiful form, my only nitpick is that I feel the high heeled platform shoes don't really fit with the rest of the outfit, they should have gone with something with flatter heels or maybe like a strappy sandal design like Enchantix

I can't believe Diaspro return in Season 5 and the weirest thing is that she was seen in Erakylon instead not punished for her crimes and the King and Queen should haven seen Diaspro for what she is after what has happen back in season 3. I fully agree with you on every single point you made about Harmonix. Sirenix’s design has cool ideas and some of the 2D art looks nice but otherwise no. They should’ve really leaned way more into the lionfish aesthetic for Sirenix and especially with the wings and the little fin-looking things on the outfits. And maybe use more sea anemone and coral designs otherwise. Maybe we could’ve had actual differences among the outfits with each girl’s having a different design element from a specific creature or plant in the ocean And also erase the leggings from existence
They had a marketing timeline in 2012. The Lilo was a Believix TV Special before getting into Season 5. Same for A Magix Christmas: it is marked as Christmas TV Special. Edit: There was also a mermaid TV Special in 2013 which I guess was the Inspiration of Sirenix

I have a theory on why The Lilo was aired first but also labeled Episode 5. So... Remember how Season 6 starts with the episode about Daphnes Sirenix and that monster? I think The Lilo had the same purpose as S6E1. Show that the transformation before it isn't useless and weak, it just needs circumstances to work. So they put the transformation in good use one last time before getting rid of it. So, the Lilo was supposed to be S5E1. And here's the problem: What villains to use? Can't use the big bad or just noone, because that would defeat the purpose of having a 'Our form before this was amazing' episode. So, it's the trix - plus a 'thing of the week'. The Lilo, or the monster of the depths. New problem: The trix were last seen getting locked up. Do we show them freeing themselves this episode? No, because they were gonna meet Tritannus in prison. Well, then lets just push this episode to later in the season, until they have been freed. But still air it first, because it was always supposed to be episode 1 Honestly, the idea of having an episode about the former transformation isn't even that bad. Season 4 could have used one, because it just went straight to Enchantix being useless.

The harmonix transformation is beautiful; the pastel colour palette, the long flowing trains, the petite tutus, the ballet-like shoes with the elongated ribbons and the seashell tiaras for finishing touches. It is giving me sea princess, ballerina and bridal aesthetic vibes at the same time. Ooh imagine the Winx having these as their wedding dresses or if the franchise started a fashion line called: Harmonix Bridal, each wedding dress inspired by Harmonix designs. This is a truly beautiful and aesthetically-pleasing transformation 🎀🧚🏼♀️✨👰🏽👗🐚👑

Tbh a better concept for sirenix was instead (idk if i saw this before pls lmk) that like there are multiple forms that are much more effective in the ocean. But Sirenix is specialised for the infinite ocean because magic there is so pure and different + from there you can reach important structures that make the magic dimension balanced. That's why getting it is so hard to get it because the test should show how true and deserving you should be to be given access to the infinite ocean. So if you fail the test it you get punished/cursed bc its automatically assumed that you have ill intentions and you're unworthy of it. Ig that could make sirenix much more angsty and stuff and it could give actual conflict if the winx are willing to risk it all or not. Also most fairies don't think it's worth it to get it since there are other forms like harmonix. It makes more sense for sirenix being darker in this sense bc despite being "cursed" we dont see the winx struggling when using it. And daphne had sirenix when she fought the ancestral witches anyway (why is the way of getting it cursed but not the form itself cursed??) so i dont really get it but whatever.

I honestly think that Rainbow/Nickelodeon actually intended to make "The Lilo" a first episode BUT later they realized that Trix are free in this episode when they should've been imprisoned at the time (before Tritannus released them) so they changed the order of episodes trying to fix the mistake that they made
Also the fact that faragonda sent them to this mission but they were not in alfea in the begining of Season 5
Interestingly enough, as much as I love the Harmonix designs(they are absolutely stunning) they are literally the worst thing possible for underwater exploration. Long flowy train skirts with long flowing hair isn't gonna do anything except slow you down as much as possible. I actually liked Sirenix a lot more in that sense cause it's designed to look like wetsuits and most of their hairs are in tight ponytails which actually makes sense underwater.
Makes the most sense hence I prefer that form over harmonix any day

I actually liked the Winx splitting up to go on the quests. It's kind of like a throwback to season 2 when Frangonda taught the Winx they need to apply the right fairy and power to the mission. To bad it's not implemented as well as in season 2 which we could probably say about this whole season 🤔
Something that used to confused me is why there was so much character exploration in season 5 when they seeemd to work together really well in the nick dubbed season 3 until I realised that not all season 2 was nick dubbed meaning they skipped all the incredible progression the Winx had in that season
They really should've just dubbed seasons 1 and 2 fully. They cut so much plot and character progression with the specials. The Nick voices are my favorite too so I would've especially liked to see their voices in seasons 1 and 2.
Actually the rules around interplanetary travel were retconned in later, or do I need to remind you that in episode 1 Stella, an unguarded princess was flying from Solaria to Elfea via earth to then be attacked. This girl could have easily gotten a ship from her dad. This girl has a magic teleporting scepter and a magic postcard to get there, but instead she's like "I'll walk". But yes it has gotten worse.
I usually use “gothic sirenix” as a head cannon when you talk about sirenix in the rewrite, it has a look similar to harmonic and doesn’t look like a recollection of the same outfit.

The Lilo episode is weird cause there is literally no reason for it to exist but at the same time I apreciate the fact that they wanted do something with Flora, like she deserves to finally have something interesting around her instead of being a punching bag every fricking time. They probably didn't give them a skirt for Sirenix because of the beta Sirenix designs. Also known as the gothic Sirenix designs. Which had the girls in long skirts.
However, I wished that they kept the prototype Sirenix designs. They looked a lot cooler and gave off an underwater Enchantix feel to it.
And the Lilo? Yeah it was not handled well. If anything the writers could have used the Lilo as a plot device for Tritannus to gain more power or even a clue on how to gain access to the infinite ocean.

You know, the Whisperian crystals would have been so useful to the trix for many other searches for magical objects or places in later seasons. Maybe we should start a counter for things well established in earlier seasons that get ignored in later seasons.

Given how much effort went into Harmonix from the outfits, the song (both versions), the transformation sequence, and the spells compared to Sirenix I've always theorized that Harmonix was meant to be the main form of Season 5 early in its production but someone high up in either Nick or Rainbow pushed for dual transformations for more merchandizing so they added Sirenix late into production so they didn't have much time to fully flesh out and refine the form. It would explain why Sirenix looks SO meh compared to Harmonix.

Harmonix is too gorgeous for this bs, deserved a better storyline and be the main transformation.
What if the timer on the Sirenix quest _itself_ was the curse? Any faries who undergo the quest for Sirenix (or even touch the Sirenix Book, for extra spice) would be cursed to have their magical energy wither away until nothing is left, and they lose their powers forever.
That could even be the reason why the girls go on the "Nature's Key side mission" (to get Harmonix) in this episode: they've already been cursed by coming into contact with the sirenix book, and their powers are going to be gone within the week unless they figure out a way to delay the curse's progression.
Instead of being a generic transformation, Harmonix's "magical specialty" could be that it's a form that's normally immune to status effects, curses, and corruption - hence why it's talked up as being "equally effective on land, sea & sky." But the ancient Sirenix curse is too strong for Harmonix powers to cure, so it only buys them a few extra weeks at best (hence the month-long timer).
Just for the sake of it (and to differentiate between Harmonix's & Enchantix's anti-curse utility), Harmonix could come with it's own specialty power: scrying magic. Each winx would have a specialty item (e.g. fortune-telling/divination tools) they can summon while in Harmonix, which helps them search for clues to completing the Sirenix quest (instead of being given step-by-step instructions by those gawddanged sirenix boxes).
And then the Sirenix quest itself would be something like, _"find the missing pages of this book & put it back together!"_ Normally, the (non-cursed) quest would be a "read the Book of Sirenix for clues to find where the powerup is hidden"..... But the witches who cursed the book didn't want to risk anyone _actually completing_ the quest and throwing off the curse, so they _ripped out_ the most important pages and hid them across the magical universe.
(you could explain why the witches didn't just _destroy_ the pages by claiming that they're hella durable or something).

I feel like with Roy he could be a little pushy of trying to get friendly with Aisha and maybe even wanting to date her while she's just not having it and would distance herself away from Roy and maybe when push comes to shove that Roy is just curious of why is she shutting herself out from him and she just snaps and yelling "THE MAN I WAS IN LOVE WITH DIED IN FRONT OF MY EYES! I AM NOT READY FOR ANOTHER RELATIONSHIP SO CAN U JUST BACK OFF!?" And it gives Roy like a realization and maybe he would apologize and they would start again but as friends. THAT WOULD BE EVERYTHING!! Also it can show that males can have female friends and vice versa. They don't have to be a couple. They can just be besties. How is that hard for people to understand?

32:57 I kinda agree, my ass thought that sirenix was the training form and harmonix was for the infinite ocean considering the outfits for harmonix are more prettier than sirenix, which were more simpler. I kinda wish those forms could switch places but maybe that's just me.
My thoughts on these episodes aren't as deep as usual, but that's okay. They are as follows:
1 I LOVE Daniella Monet as Mitzi. Even back in season 1. I don't why but even as a kid she always had a look. That said to me I've always wanted to be low-key evil. With the exception of the voice actress in season 4, who I am personally not a fan of The other actresses for Moto. Do a wonderful job (especially Lisa Ortiz). With that said, their performances all focused on the mean girl aspect of her personality. I don't think it was the fault of the actresses, but rather than the direction. Regardless, it's something I would have liked to see. In fact, Daniells s performance is one of the few that really made me wish that they dubbed all of The next seasons with a completely consistent cast. I bet you would be absolutely amazing in the episode where her and her friends get turned into dark fairies.
2 I am genuinely surprised that you did not mention the dragon wing spell that saved the nature of the rainbow man told. I know it's not the most wow spell ever, but I've always thought it was really cool.
3 I realize that several of you might not get this reference, but the creature that attacks them on green or generally looks like it could be out of Magi Nation (another show) Rather than Winx club.
4 I still think that Crystal could only be Disapero's younger sister and it would explain why she introduced her in the episode
The Lilo episode is just Rainbow and Nick saying... "BUY OUR TOYS! GET MORE BELIEVIX MERCH!"...There's no plot relevance and it bugs me no matter what episode number it is because it has no relevance to the sort of plot there is this season. But I love Elizabeth Gillies singing so points for that
I completely agree that the lilo episode was “hollow” but the little things in it made me continue to watch Winx club. I loved the camera movement at 14:49. It gave me a little hope until season 6 💀😵💫

perhaps it has something to do with the leaks of some footage, including the entirety of both new transformation sequences, before season 5 even premiered
...or they just needed to extend the length of the 6th episode by adding extra material, which ended up making the entire thing make less sense

As for the Lilo episode, the Winx are looking for a powerful flower that is about to bloom. But Diaspro track the Winx into a trap made by the Trix before be betrayed by the 3 witches. Then the Winx found the magic flower, Diaspro helps the Winx to fight the Trix and every one is happy. It feels like a prototype of the Lilo episode. But with a better treatment for Diaspro than all she get in S5-8.

honestly i don't mind the idea of other transformations not working underwater since every form has a very specific purpose while Enchantix acts as sort of a mixed media form. like yeah it can handle most situations but not very well. so honestly Believix not working underwater doesn't bother me too much. they should have just switched into Enchantix but even then they should struggle a bit since the form was not designed for that. Maybe they still can use their powers underwater while using Enchantix but it would just be weaker. that would be my explanation as to how they used magic underwater in their base form., they didn't try to use an extreme amount of power underwater and they didn't use their wings to try to swim faster so they simply didn't notice the fact that they were weaker. they had bigger problems to deal with🤣🤣🤣.
but i wouldn't make more transformations that share one element. maybe besides for Sirenix because i feel like Sirenix's primary function is to get you into the infinite ocean, it just so happens that the infinite ocean is aquatic thus Sirenix has water as its primary theme, plus it would be extremly strong because in my mind certain types of transformations are stronger then others like Believix and Enchantix would have the same level of raw power meanwhile Sirenix would be stronger then Enchantix since it meant for protecting a whole dimention rather then your own planet. i would have their be 2 aquatic forms. Aquatix which would be a mermaid version of Enchantix.
( I imagine the great dragon doesn't like water very much so he put very little effort into this transformation lol) Aquatix would be more concentrated on protecting the ocean so their would be a big incises on natrual ways of recycling like there would be an oil and garbage delete spell for Tecna ( no it wouldn't work on anything else other then garbage). also i would flesh these forms out by adding that if your powers are the oposite of the transformation you want you'll need more energy to gain the form. like Bloom would have a much rougher time getting Sirenix then Aisha.

Even with the plot wholes, it is far better and enjoyable than season 6.
1. In the paused frames, which Thomas used, most of the time the Winx looked so beautiful and like in their old animation style.
2. I do not mind Believix, because I love her as a transformation (“transformation” and “power” in Bulgarian are feminine words), however I hate how they weak made her just to have the excuse to have Sirenix…
3. I like the Sirenix Quest, as the transformation it is not given to the Winx so easily. You have to earn and prove worthy of her.
4. I do not hate Sirenix - she is iconic, yes, and I love some of the designs -Aisha is a gorgeous queen as she should be! Especially her hairstyle! Sirenix should have been used only to enter the Infinite Ocean and be a powerhouse only there.
5. I prefer Harmonix anytime and more then Sirenix! The design, the song, the clever and creative attacks and spells. Actually Harmonix and even Sirenix are the last decent transformations before we got Dreamix and Onyrix in “World of Winx” in my opinion.
6. This is also the last time where the Winx have some character arcs and development (not Stella’s fashion fiasco) of the newer season.
7. I liked the power boost of the Trix because the fights are so interesting that way. The creators failed make them more powerful and threatening as they should be by now… Seasons 7 and 8 have some decent and interesting fights between the Trix and the Winx - Season 6 is just meh…
8. Yes, I also felt that the creature with the rainbow main was very lgbt inspired.
9. Also the Sirenix Book has a female voice in the Bulgarian dub, probably because we translated it directly from English. If it was with the Italian dub, probably we were going to have a make voice.

Y'know for some reason believix had made me headcannon that believix was all earth's fairies natural and definite forms. Like there was no enchantix thing for them unlike the fairies from magic dimensions. Probably cuz the believix wings were massive and like all the earth fairies had massive wings I think. There was no thought that it might be the Earth's fairies in their enchantix form cuz roxy's wings were like massive as well. So like I always headcannon that winx needed believix form for eart cuz there were no other forms that the earth fairies had and earth fairies should function on magic similar to believix right where they do need the belief of the people from earth for their magic. Like them disappearing cuz of the wizards made them weak cuz the ppl stopped believing in magic or sth idk. Anyways I just wanted them to explore that with Roxy cuz the girl's normal fairy form had wings massive then any of them had in enchantix
God Harmonix is such a beautiful form, my only nitpick is that I feel the high heeled platform shoes don't really fit with the rest of the outfit, they should have gone with something with flatter heels or maybe like a strappy sandal design like Enchantix

I fully agree with you on every single point you made about Harmonix. Sirenix’s design has cool ideas and some of the 2D art looks nice but otherwise no. They should’ve really leaned way more into the lionfish aesthetic for Sirenix and especially with the wings and the little fin-looking things on the outfits. And maybe use more sea anemone and coral designs otherwise. Maybe we could’ve had actual differences among the outfits with each girl’s having a different design element from a specific creature or plant in the ocean
And also erase the leggings from existence
They had a marketing timeline in 2012. The Lilo was a Believix TV Special before getting into Season 5. Same for A Magix Christmas: it is marked as Christmas TV Special.
Edit: There was also a mermaid TV Special in 2013 which I guess was the Inspiration of Sirenix

I have a theory on why The Lilo was aired first but also labeled Episode 5.
So... Remember how Season 6 starts with the episode about Daphnes Sirenix and that monster?
I think The Lilo had the same purpose as S6E1. Show that the transformation before it isn't useless and weak, it just needs circumstances to work. So they put the transformation in good use one last time before getting rid of it.
So, the Lilo was supposed to be S5E1.
And here's the problem: What villains to use? Can't use the big bad or just noone, because that would defeat the purpose of having a 'Our form before this was amazing' episode.
So, it's the trix - plus a 'thing of the week'. The Lilo, or the monster of the depths.
New problem: The trix were last seen getting locked up. Do we show them freeing themselves this episode? No, because they were gonna meet Tritannus in prison. Well, then lets just push this episode to later in the season, until they have been freed. But still air it first, because it was always supposed to be episode 1
Honestly, the idea of having an episode about the former transformation isn't even that bad. Season 4 could have used one, because it just went straight to Enchantix being useless.

Tbh a better concept for sirenix was instead (idk if i saw this before pls lmk) that like there are multiple forms that are much more effective in the ocean. But Sirenix is specialised for the infinite ocean because magic there is so pure and different + from there you can reach important structures that make the magic dimension balanced. That's why getting it is so hard to get it because the test should show how true and deserving you should be to be given access to the infinite ocean. So if you fail the test it you get punished/cursed bc its automatically assumed that you have ill intentions and you're unworthy of it. Ig that could make sirenix much more angsty and stuff and it could give actual conflict if the winx are willing to risk it all or not. Also most fairies don't think it's worth it to get it since there are other forms like harmonix. It makes more sense for sirenix being darker in this sense bc despite being "cursed" we dont see the winx struggling when using it. And daphne had sirenix when she fought the ancestral witches anyway (why is the way of getting it cursed but not the form itself cursed??) so i dont really get it but whatever.
