    Dear friend, thank you very much for your videos and your work. It is a pleasure to listen to you. It feels like being in the company of an old family friend. Absolutely one of the best UA-cam channels on sim racing. Keep up the good work! 😊

    Great video's man, keep up the good work!
    one advice might be to update your thumbnails to English, I think that'll make you generate a lot more views. But maybe that's because UA-cam automatically translates it for me?

      Thank you friend. The description is dependant on the language you set. There are 13 different languages I translate description and subtitles to.

    I bought a thrustmaster tx rw with the NLR wheel stand 2.0 recently thanks to your reviews. Absolutely love it!y only complaint is that if you're a tall and large person like me, it's a little hard to setup right but once you do, nothing else comes close in that price range.

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  Рік тому

      I am glad to hear that. And you raise a valid point, it is hard to foresee the comfort for people with other morphology then myself. That is where user feedback like yourself comes in and help. I am glad you managed to set it up correctly nonetheless. Have fun with driving and thanks for the feedback friend!! 👍👍👍

      Hey, I am also about to buy NLR wheel stand 2.0 but since you've mentioned tall and large person I am wondering if it is suitable for a 1.86cm tall guy like me? Thank you

    That next level GT Lite is ok if you want a cheap cockpit and you very rarely want to fold it up and put it away. I had one for a few months and I wouldn't buy another one.
    I love the Playseat Challenge but my one problem with it is the headrest is angles too far forward and I get a pain in my neck from it.
    Playseat should make a replaceable headrest which is sold separately that has less of a forward angle on it or an adjustable angle on the headrest.

      It is not available on the second hand market and if I have to buy it new, I will make a loss of 30-40 on it. Its on my shortlist. As soon as it comes on the second hand market or Trak Racer decides they want to give me a review-discount, I'll review it.

    What’s Your opinion- I have limited space and my setup is in living room area. I have ps5 and Xbox so I am thinking to order fanatec gt dd 8nm. I will be adding some small desk for work remotely. I have about 185cm/6’1”.
    I cannot decide what will be better for dd wheel;
    Playseat Challenge is great, I have rented it for one month and tried it with t300.
    +folding takes seconds
    +many reinforcements mods
    +comfort and low racing car position
    -there is some flexibility without mods
    -best seat but folded is quite high
    -angle in headrest
    NLR wheelstand 2.0/omega apex or similar wheel stand - I am getting desk, so chair will be in the living room. Challenge will double that, having seat built in. Will it take less space, because chair is separate? I haven’t tried any but from what I have heard they are more sturdy, haven’t got any flexibility with dd wheel. I have concerns about sitting position-I like to sit low in the car and desk chairs(or small arm chairs) are usually quite high. In playseat t300 wheel is too close for my arms and it’s hard to tell what it will be with fanatec - wheel stands won’t have that problem.
    TLDR:
    DD wheel in living room with desk and chair:
    - wheelstand or challenge with mods, what will be sturdier?
    - best space saving solution and easy to store everyday?
    - what will have better driving position for someone somewhat tall that like to seat low?

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  Рік тому +1

      In the playseat, the DD will come even closer than with the t300 and when you start adding mods to it, it will loose some of the folding functionality or the ability to loose the swiveling mechanism to get in. I do agree though that with a wheelstand you will be sitting a bit higher than with the Playseat. I think however the wheelstand will be more optimal for the hardware you will use. The Playseat, no matter how good it is, is not designed for a DD. The NLR 2.0 wheelstand with a decent office chair where you sit comfortable in and preferably has the arm rests that can tilt outwards, will be the best solution for your casus.
