I drive an E240 w210 and I'm in love with it, it has been my first car and it will always be im my heart, but apart from that it is a comfortable and fast car. It has all I ever wanted. I haven't tried another mercedes but I alredy love this one.

The W123, incl. the S123 Touring and C123 Coupe are truly epic cars, and unbelievable workhorses. I drove one that had more than 800.000 kms (500.000 miles) on the clock and the doors were still shutting like new.

There is no last “real Mercedes” all benzes are benzes. Each generation improved upon the predecessor. People are sentimental (and rightfully so, I love the w124s and w140s). The time will eventually come when we say “the last real AMGs” after Mercedes ditches V8s and combustion engines all together
@@diablocls55 C140/the coupe version of W140,even looks uglier than the sedan. That is just my opinion. I do like the W111 coupe,C123,C114,W180 coupe like ponton 220S coupe,also the SL R107 is among my favourite. W136 170S cabriolet is also very magnificent.
Jafet Purple Yeah I’m not a fan of the c140... and yeah the grille is the weak point of the W140 it came straight off a C class from the era lol. But the car looks badass asf from the sides, especially with some big rims or chromes, and with an exhaust provided it’s a V8 or v12
In Europe these are taxi cabs, they run forever, I've had 3 of them through the years wouldn't switch to any other brand, they never break down as long as you service them regularly,they will never leave you on the road, my father had a 1938 model V170 in Portugal when I was a little kid. I have owned the 210, 211 and the 212 loved them all expect how much the 210 rusted... But I kinda have mixed feelings about the 213 when there is no "normal" V6 available. I really like the interior and how it looks with the exclusive package thou.
I have a W211 E500 and occasionally think about changing, but I struggle to find something that is anywhere near as good a car. Adjustable air suspension, brake-by-wire SBC, comfortable heated seats, a large boot, an excellent AV system, the V8 gives it good shove when you need it, but the long 7th gear, aerodynamic shape and 80-litre tank give it exceptional range too. I've seen about 600 miles from a fill-up, and it is composed even at 150mph (but you won't get 600 miles out of a fill-up then!). I have taken mine all around the UK and across much of the continent. 5,000 gallons or 22,500 litres later, I'm now up to 110,000 miles.... The funny thing is, when I walked into that dealership all those years ago, I didn't really know anything about Mercedes and I'd actually left the house that morning to go and test-drive a nice, cheap, economical Ford Mondeo. But, I ended up putting a deposit down on a V8-powered autobahn machine.
My dad had a W124 when I was a kid, grew up with a W211, an 06 I think. 211 gave us a couple good years but we had to sell it recently cause it barely got to 150k miles and it kept stacking up issues.

In terms of design, I think the W213 is the best also as a modern person. I also think W123 is cool. Before that, I felt the atmosphere of retro. W210,211 has a strange design. Even now, I've actually seen it, but it looks like an alien.
I owned 3 models of the e-class, 2 coupé from W124, 1 Coupé from W123 and 2 sedan from W115 (strich8) one 54 hp diesel. The design I love the most from the e-class is: W115, the coupé W124 and the W211.
Only people born in the 80's and 90's would understand and be pretty lucky to see this gem transform from W123 till date. W123 in the '80s saw the shift in the way the car looks. I am a 90's kid, so for me fascinating over a classic luxury car like W124 and staring at it while it crossed the road for a good 5 to 10 seconds is what made our days back then. No hate on the way the car looks like in 2015/16 till date. But I only got to sit in a W124 twice or thrice while in the '90s. Well, just a few rich friends I could say haha. I was also lucky enough to sit in a W123 but that happened in 2000 and I went like holy wow this car still packs an engine like its today. It was a 20-year-old car by then and its value as an old car by then was more. Such beauty. Today kids won't stare at a merc like how I did back then. The fascination for cars have changed.
