I know you think that shade isn't right for you, but that's one of the best shade matches you've had in a while! I know you also prefer more neutral tones, but I think something with a bit more pinkish tones is good for you.
Change out the sprayer on the setting spray u dont like! I traded out my Flower Beauty setting spray nozzle with a loreal one... you'd be surprised how many fit on different bottles!

That’s not including the other $60 that went on the rest of her face. I remember a time when her channel was about drugstore at a reasonable price. It’s just not what the normal consumer can afford to do when just trying out a few new face products. When I see UA-camrs like Jess push this as ‘normal’ it really makes me sad. This is unrealistic for the common woman, period. And I totally get that she is here to test the cosmetics for the viewer, but if you have been around her channel (and UA-cam beauty in general) as long as I have, it becomes disheartening when even the most down to earth youtubers are swept up in the consumerist, ‘I can afford it so obviously my audience can to’ mentality. I know I sound harsh, but it’s just the way it is.

So when it comes to drugstore makeup be weary of pricing ulta, drugstores like rite aid, Walgreens & CVS will always have a higher mark up. Walmart/Target will always have the best pricing because the bulk of their business isn’t coming from makeup/beauty. Also typically after something has launched and new products are now flushed into the everyday wall set pricing will drop after a few months. I’m a beauty manager for a Texas grocer and I started seeing this consistently happening once I moved into the Beauty department. But so glad you tested this out typically all skin makeup you like works out for me. When we were resetting our aisle to incorporate all these new items I was so excited for that dew spray so much!!!

The only issue with the CYO is that it's never in stores, so one has to order it online from Walgreens (you can ship free to store). This foundation has 14-15 shades, so I've heard finding the right shade can be tricky, as not a lot of undertone options. But I hear the formula is AMAZING if you can find a shade that works for you.
Jessica, you are neutral with tendency towards cool toones. That is why foundations look very yellow on you. Foundations with just a little bit of pink would look a bit better on you
Yes, I am a fair neutral that leans cool tone especially in the Winter, in the summer i can get away with warm tones if i have had some sun. It's very hard finding foundation because neutrals are sometimes hard to find, i do like loreal because they do try to include neutrals just sometimes I still find them a bit on the warm side :(

That’s true, but Ulta has coupons& rewards. Also, they will have bogo sales that Walmart doesn’t. So if you are getting 2 products, it will typically be the same price as Walmart. But you get points that you can use later.

I started using the L’Oreal Shake and Glow mist because of you. I adore it. It is perfect. It makes my skin have the perfect amount of shine. I use it as a primer then a setting spray. I haven’t picked up my urban decay all nighter spray since. Thank you so much for recommending!!
I want to begin by saying, I’m not a foundation girl. They always have felt gross on my skin or they oxidized quickly, etc. The only foundation I’ve ever truly liked is the Wet&Wild cushion foundation, but still, I only used it as a concealer, not all over my face. I was skeptical buying this foundation & concealer, but y’all, I Freaking Love them! They last all day, look natural, and feel very comfortable. I have combination skin and it balanced out both. I didn’t get oily in my t-zone & following your advice in another video, I didn’t powder my under eye after application & it looked perfect (not crepe-y) at the end of 8hrs of wear. Legit, turned me into a believer.

I love it. The pen side is great for hair like strokes and the pencil, pomade side is really pigmented and glides on the skin beautifully. I've only used cheaper brow products, and this blows those out of the water. I'm very happy I bought it

That foundation stick is so nice! I mix it with a tinted moisturizer and use it for my everyday foundation. But I haven’t seen any UA-camr try it on camera or talk about it at all!
I bought this and have only tried it once. I ended up with too much on and it looked weird. I'm excited to try it again with just a thin layer because it looks so pretty on all the people I've seen try it! I also like Loreal's shade range the best of any drugstore line I've found, so that's part of why I'm excited.

I have oily skin and love this foundation. It looks like a satin matte on me. I do have to blot after about 5 hrs but don’t powder so I’m happy with that.

The concealer of this line has a super intense scent. I'm not sensitive to stuff like that but with this, I could smell it on my face 4 hours after application and it actually broke me out, which I also never get. The foundation looks beautiful on your skin Jess but I wondered if it has the same scent? Surprised there was no mention of it, it's so perfumey
Darn it, Jessica. Now I have to try that Loreal cream blush. It reminded of Milani's Luminoso but more subtle. I have dry cheeks so I feel cream blush would look nicer. that color is gorgeous! I just may have to break my Low Buy and purchase it.

I’ve been using this foundation for 3 days and I hated it. On day 4 I didn’t using any powder over it on my T zone. It was so amazing. I got so many compliments! I saw the loose eye shadows at Ulta on clearance. By the way I love the blue sponge!! Jess your makeup looked so pretty.

Same about the Flower Beauty setting spray. What I do is I bounce around the my sponge on my face after I spray it so there aren't any big drops left behind and that seems to solve the problem 😊

I really love both the foundation and concealer! And OMG YES I swear my itchy nose gets worse when I put on my makeup my nose itchiness sabotages me everytime, but yes I love this foundation and concealer so much! I like using the concealer as an eyeshadow primer as well because they have a shade that is ALMOST pure white and I love using that as my base to make the shadows pop a little and it works really well I dont have to set my lids because it dries pretty soft and smooth without creasing. I set my under eye when I use this concealer though and it just looks beautiful

Having a 90s throwback with that good sounding stick blush. Can't recall who made it, but there was a phenomenal stick blush with a great stick foundation that I only wore when first starting out with makeup. I remember it was in blue packaging though. May have to give these a go if they're any as good as that was, the spray sounds & looks great too. Actually, everything you've reviewed does & am not totally surprised, I d0 like the brand, even though they are creeping up there in price, small favors for sales around every corner. I'm so glad I saw this before heading to the store because I think I would have picked a color 2-3 shades too dark. It's so hard when the drugstore lighting has become brighter and brighter; especially when trying to decide lip colors! I'm kind of fair (maybe fair/light) and olive so it's always a struggle.
I had the same problem with the Flower beauty setting spray. I usually just go over my face with a beauty blender super lightly after I spray it and it seems to get rid of those dots.

Next time you go to Walmart look through the clearance makeup, most of it has been returned or opened or broken but some things are awesome finds. I got a hard candy cheek/lip stick and it’s amazing, plus some metal liquid eyeshadows that are so beautiful it’s not even funny. The weird thing is the stuff I’ve found in the bins are things I’ve never actually seen on the regular makeup shelves.

The pigments are everything. The slightly darker shade ( everything is permitted ) is perfect.

The L'Oréal foundation is also cheaper on Amazon Prime at the moment if you know your shade. I think it's around $11.97.

I started using the L’Oreal Shake and Glow mist because of you. I adore it. It is perfect. It makes my skin have the perfect amount of shine. I use it as a primer then a setting spray. I haven’t picked up my urban decay all nighter spray since. Thank you so much for recommending!!

I want to begin by saying, I’m not a foundation girl. They always have felt gross on my skin or they oxidized quickly, etc. The only foundation I’ve ever truly liked is the Wet&Wild cushion foundation, but still, I only used it as a concealer, not all over my face.
I was skeptical buying this foundation & concealer, but y’all, I Freaking Love them! They last all day, look natural, and feel very comfortable. I have combination skin and it balanced out both. I didn’t get oily in my t-zone & following your advice in another video, I didn’t powder my under eye after application & it looked perfect (not crepe-y) at the end of 8hrs of wear. Legit, turned me into a believer.

I love it. The pen side is great for hair like strokes and the pencil, pomade side is really pigmented and glides on the skin beautifully. I've only used cheaper brow products, and this blows those out of the water. I'm very happy I bought it

I LOVE this foundation too!! I was having the hardest time trying to find a foundation that works for me lately. This one is now my holy grail! I am 36 with dry skin. It covers well, doesn't look dry or dewy. And it doesn't look cakey.

That foundation stick is so nice! I mix it with a tinted moisturizer and use it for my everyday foundation. But I haven’t seen any UA-camr try it on camera or talk about it at all!
CeraVe baby lotion is really good too. I didn’t think that my baby daughter needed it but after using it I found that it works really well.
I get white dots with the Flower Setting spray too. I find that it helps if it dab my face with my beauty blender after.
I bought this and have only tried it once. I ended up with too much on and it looked weird. I'm excited to try it again with just a thin layer because it looks so pretty on all the people I've seen try it! I also like Loreal's shade range the best of any drugstore line I've found, so that's part of why I'm excited.

I have oily skin and love this foundation. It looks like a satin matte on me. I do have to blot after about 5 hrs but don’t powder so I’m happy with that.

I just have to tell you that I love your freckles! I don't wear foundation when I do makeup because I like my freckles to show so it's nice to see others that have as many as I do :) Love you and your videos. I watch as many as I can in a day.
Their lime green sponge is AWESOME for under eyes concealer & cream contour/blush/bronzer/highlight. My fave. I need to snag the blue.
The concealer of this line has a super intense scent. I'm not sensitive to stuff like that but with this, I could smell it on my face 4 hours after application and it actually broke me out, which I also never get. The foundation looks beautiful on your skin Jess but I wondered if it has the same scent? Surprised there was no mention of it, it's so perfumey

Darn it, Jessica. Now I have to try that Loreal cream blush. It reminded of Milani's Luminoso but more subtle. I have dry cheeks so I feel cream blush would look nicer. that color is gorgeous! I just may have to break my Low Buy and purchase it.
Dump the FLOWER setting spray, keep the bottle! Put a different setting spray in it!

It's the bottle/sprayer that's the problem. Not the actual product. :^]
It took me awhile to figure out you need to shake the Flower setting sprays before every use, otherwise you get weird droplets.

I’ve been using this foundation for 3 days and I hated it. On day 4 I didn’t using any powder over it on my T zone. It was so amazing. I got so many compliments! I saw the loose eye shadows at Ulta on clearance. By the way I love the blue sponge!! Jess your makeup looked so pretty.
I love this foundation too but travelled with my clinique even better glow. I prefer that kind of packaging (or my Chanel vita aqua). All these new products look good on you.

Same about the Flower Beauty setting spray. What I do is I bounce around the my sponge on my face after I spray it so there aren't any big drops left behind and that seems to solve the problem 😊

I really love both the foundation and concealer! And OMG YES I swear my itchy nose gets worse when I put on my makeup my nose itchiness sabotages me everytime, but yes I love this foundation and concealer so much! I like using the concealer as an eyeshadow primer as well because they have a shade that is ALMOST pure white and I love using that as my base to make the shadows pop a little and it works really well I dont have to set my lids because it dries pretty soft and smooth without creasing. I set my under eye when I use this concealer though and it just looks beautiful

Having a 90s throwback with that good sounding stick blush. Can't recall who made it, but there was a phenomenal stick blush with a great stick foundation that I only wore when first starting out with makeup. I remember it was in blue packaging though. May have to give these a go if they're any as good as that was, the spray sounds & looks great too. Actually, everything you've reviewed does & am not totally surprised, I d0 like the brand, even though they are creeping up there in price, small favors for sales around every corner.

I'm so glad I saw this before heading to the store because I think I would have picked a color 2-3 shades too dark. It's so hard when the drugstore lighting has become brighter and brighter; especially when trying to decide lip colors! I'm kind of fair (maybe fair/light) and olive so it's always a struggle.
I had the same problem with the Flower beauty setting spray. I usually just go over my face with a beauty blender super lightly after I spray it and it seems to get rid of those dots.

Next time you go to Walmart look through the clearance makeup, most of it has been returned or opened or broken but some things are awesome finds. I got a hard candy cheek/lip stick and it’s amazing, plus some metal liquid eyeshadows that are so beautiful it’s not even funny. The weird thing is the stuff I’ve found in the bins are things I’ve never actually seen on the regular makeup shelves.
Watching this in July 2020 and I've just ordered my Loreal infallible foundation online, waiting for it to arrive, can't wait. I've heard so many YT creators talk about this foundation.
