Thanks. But it sucks if you're fair and need a pink undertone. The lightest pink undertone is quite dark. I have this foundation and 415 is like 2 or 3 shades too dark but all the others are too warm. I make 410 work tho

it looks awful on my dry skin, it dries completely matt which I hate on my dry AF skin 😂 + not a real neutral shade, everything is either pink or yellow

Just an FYI for us mature skinned ladies out there - this foundation looks just beautiful on me. Doesn’t emphasize fine lines and isn’t drying at all. And it’s fair enough for a very pale person. I am super impressed and am so happy with it - my new favorite foundation!

Taylor’s almost my skin twin (she’s younger and has way fewer lines under and around her eyes...lol), so I’m going to go buy this today (as long as it doesn’t have aloe in it because I’m allergic).

I really can’t understand why companies are STILL putting fragrance in their makeup and Skincare. Fragrance is the number one skin irritant. As an Esthetician this just baffles me. And as someone with chronic migraines who has fragrance as a migraine trigger, this pisses me off :/ fragrance is not skin care or makeup 😞

Yea my guess is that the foundation smells like paint and they’re trying to cover it up. It’s unnecessary and probably just causes irritation on some skin types. Traditional (older) large cosmetics companies like L’Oreal /Lancôme and Chanel are still way too into fragrances. They are old companies that don’t wanna change their ways from 50 years ago. They probably think they will lose customers. Newer companies and brands are less likely to do this, I’ve noticed. L’Oreal still tests on animals since it’s sold in China so I just don’t buy it anyway.
Transcendental Portal Even though I don’t mind it, it is the fact that fragrance in makeup can actually harm someone and they still put it in is cruel.
fragrances and a lot of chemicals, my skin is very sensitive, very disappointed with makeup companies.
The fragrance in this foundation is so strong. It fades but it's awful upon application. I love the look, hate the smell.

Priyanka Mohanty (Ms) She did a great job describing this one. I am kind of surprised she didn’t have any issues with looking a little dry if she has drier skin- only thing I can say negative about it. Prepping the skin well though combats that obviously. Hope she does the Cover Girl Active Foundation. That one is even better and around $6- will be great for every skin type too, essentially bulletproof. Surprised CG was the one to come out with it.

I’m on accutane it’s life changing!
I had two courses of accutane but the acne came back so I started a treninoin skincare routine and it works wonders. In the beginning u have to introduce it slowly and gradually but it improves skin so much without any side effects as accutane intake causes, you can use it for years and it just gets better.
That burrito at the beginning makes me want chipotle every time 🌯 🤤 (Side note: my husband got up and started twerking to your intro 😂)

I just finished watching Nikkia Joy (UA-camr Australia) who has oily oily skin review L'Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear Foundation and she loved it also. I thought this info might help those with oily skin.
She used primer on one side and no primer on the other - you couldn't tell the difference. After 12 hours it looked freshly applied which on her oily skin is a miracle. I guess this Foundation is really worthy of the hype and good reviews.

@@bonniepierce5164 Hi, l' m 52 and wondering how this foundation looked on fine wrinkles and enlarged pores..assuming that you might have similar issues.
@@angelakosmas3218 Yes I have fine wrinkles but not enlarged pores. I find that a good pore reducing primer is a great help under the foundation even though I don't deal with that issue - it helps set a good coverage for smaller wrinkles. I use Lancome Pro Le Base, Hourglass, Bare Minerals, Smashbox Oil Primer is awesome (all high-end primers). I don't find that most drugstore skin care is good enough for skin over 50 although L'Oreal and Olay come close but their price per oz or gram is actually quite high. I apply the foundation (after primer drys) lightly almost a sheer coverage. If I need more then I use a bit more with a Beauty Blender (not a knockoff but the real thing). The only other sponge I find effective is Real Techniques BUT nothing is better than the original Beauty Blender. I love this foundation. By the way, I have normal skin - no oiliness or dryness. The Smashbox Oil Primer is just awesome and works on any type of skin.

Yay! On my dry skin, this works well with a combo on a drop of oil or my Argan oil foundation.

I use a drop or two of maracuja oil and I love it as well.
This foundation has replaced my high end favorites!! I like it better than my Laura Mercier Lumiere and the MUFE ultra HD. I feel like I will never need to purchase anything else! It's AMAZING!

I saw this video here on UA-cam where an animal rights activist over in the UK re-enacted the process of animal cosmetic testing on herself in a department store window for all to see, and that totally cemented why I will never again purchase from a company that tests on, or pays a third party to conduct tests on, animals. If it had been an actual dog that was being tested on in that window, every passerby would bust through the glass to save the animal and call the police. So if we aren't ok seeing it in front of our face, why are we ok with it happening behind our backs in a factory? I cannot in good conscious ignore it.

I have really dry skin but this foundation is amazing!! It’s the best I’ve found and I’ve tried almost everything! I wore this all err to some work events and it went strong from 6 am to 10 pm!!

what primer did you use?
I gave very oily skin and I tried it the shade Deep Amber. The foundation was fabulous. Long lasting, it looked great. The shade was a tad too warm for my neutral skin tone. But I absolutely loved the foundation and will definitely repurchase. We don’t have the full shadec range here in the UK particularly in the Dee shades. Can be bought in Boots and Superdrug.
Seriously? They don’t have the deeper shades here in the UK? That’s so stupid, it makes me so angry. I’m someone who can always find their shade (although it’s never yellow enough) but finding foundation is still a hassle, I can’t imagine the struggle when your choices are even more limited because of shade range.
Give them a few months. I’ve been wearing the True Match since last summer and the just introduced half shades. I’ve been mixing C2 and C3, but I’m positive I’m actually C2.5 and they’re hard to find in stores.
I’ve wanted to see your thoughts on this so badly! I’m soooo glad it worked out well! I’d love to see it mixed with the CYO lifeproof (it’s my holy grail too). If it could make the CYO more transfer resistant, it would be PERFECT for teaching. Love you ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕

I absolutely LOVE this foundation. There’s not one thing I can complain about with it. It’s doesn’t crease or pool in fine lines, it’s not drying, it has a beautifully everyday natural finish, it’s so long lasting. It’s awesome. The fragrance could be a down side but with how amazing it works I don’t think it is. Oh and the fragrance is the same as the wet and wild cushion foundation. They smell exactly the same.
Why can't this be fragrance free?? Because of allergies I can't even consider this. L'oreal, get your act together!!!

Tried it today. I'll pay $60+ dollars for this foundation any day! I've used Estee Lauder double wear for years and this one has blown my mind and definitely will use it from now on. Had it on for 12 hours, doesn't transfer, my phone screen was still with no trace of makeup after calls, I've blown my nose since I have a cold and no trace of foundation was visible, it's light weight, has a beautiful finish, feels like you just put it on after many hours. Love it, love it, love it. Loreal created a master piece, and it's only $14.99, bought me 4 bottles 😁😁👏👏👏
I put this comment two years ago and I still think it’s amazing! I tried other foundations in the past two years and recently found these and bought them, used it again and realized why am I wasting time with other foundations? 😂 this is it! I use natural rose 445 and vanilla 440, mix both and it’s my perfect match 💕💕
Sad that Alcohol Denat. is the 4th ingredient! Same with the Dior Face and Body, arrrg! My face just can't tolerate that much alcohol, and it makes me nuts, I really wanted to try this one.
I tried this and broke out. Alcohol tends to do that to me. Looked great until then. :(

I’m very oily but am using a retina cream which dries the absolute life out of the spots I use it on. My favorite foundation has been fenty since it released but since I’ve started the cream it clings on to those spots and looks disgusting! I tried this for the first time maybe 4 days ago and I’m shooketh and I feel like it’s such a game changer . Just my mini input for anyone who has a similar skin type and/or just dry patches

Valerie Connors this foundation is cruelty free!!! :) if not I really love the Clinique Beyond Perfect is beautiful. Full coverage but not really targeted towards oily skin but if you powder your face really good it looks so beautiful

I got this foundation because people were raving about it. First time I put it on my face HURT. I read the ingredients and one of the top ones is SD alcohol. My face is obviously very sensitive but if you have eczema, rosacea or sensitive skin AVOID. The fragrance sure doesn’t help.
EDIT: I just checked again and it was actually alcohol denat. which is still a drying alcohol. Just wanted to clarify.
Iluvmakeup I have rosacea, and this product worked great for me! I was so desperate to find a good foundation that lasts and doesn’t DEFINE and EXAGGERATE the rosacea bumps and redness! This foundation was a blessing lol every person is different :)
Ashlea Nasir glad it worked for you! Alcohol and fragrance are a known trigger for those conditions but I’m glad it hasn’t bothered your skin like it did mine. Just wanted to warn people so they know it’s in there if they know they are sensitive to it.

Iluvmakeup I love the way this foundation looks on my skin but unfortunately, after four uses, my skin looks TERRIBLE. I normally don’t break out but this foundation has left me with tons and tons of inflamed pimples. Although this foundation might look good, if you have sensitive skin you need to be cautious.

I also ordered online through CVS and had to take a stab from the “color puddle pictures” on the L’Oréal website. Since I’ve been wearing True Match, I’ve determined that I’m probably actually C2.5, but it’s hard to find in stores because the half shades are rather new. Since last summer when I started using it, I’ve had to mix my own shade to get it right. Toggling between the True Match page and the Infallible 24 page, I decided that #435 Rose Vanilla looked like C2.5, so I got that one. I actually matched myself really well, considering I was using pictures on the website.
My first wear was on Saturday when I had to work all day at a tournament. I put on my foundation at 6AM and it still looked good when I took it off at 8:30PM! The only place my daughter saw wear was where the nose pads on my glasses sit. Color me impressed! I too have normal to dry skin, and I thought it looked and worked well on me.
Why I love this foundation.. So natural looking and don't need to use a lot. One /2 pumps is gd. Yes it's soft Matt.

From what I have heard is it is really yellow, as Ive heard most of them are, so she probably choose the two that best matched her undertone. While looking in store these are the 2 I was between and she is my skin twin.
I have shade 400- it's pretty light and has a yellow undertone. I'm pale with cool undertones, so it isn't a perfect match for me by any means but I don't mind because it's not orange and works good enough.
This is a beautiful foundation. I bought it last week and I’m really impressed. I’m nearly 40, have dry patches, fine lines. It blends flawlessly and stays looking lovely all day. Very impressed.
This is my new favorite foundation! My other faves are NARS natural radiant, too faced born this way and flower beauty light illusion. I think I might love this more than all of them. It has such a beautiful long lasting finish.

I looooove this foundation! I picked it up after Tati raved about it. And I’ve been using it non stop. I tend to never love foundations, just tolerate them, but this one hit it out of the park for me! I have dry skin so anything matte just looks like cake on me :/
heather willis same here. I never could wear anything but dewy radiant foundations because of dry patches but this foundations is BOMB. It doesn’t sink into fine lines or smile lines. It has such a beautiful natural finish. I’m absolutely obsessed with it. I just wish they would drop the fragrance and it would be even better

It’s so crazy to me how many of my favorite youtubers love this foundation and I am working HARD to make it look good on me 😭 it exaggerates every dry skin cell on my face and breaks apart after about 5 hours 😭😭 bleh
This foundation is the bomb.. it's the only drugstore foundation I ever loved..i got rose vanilla.. it's fantastic for my dry skin. And the fragrance was nothing to worry about
I've been using this foundation for months now (originally saw on Tati who raved about it) and I absolutely love it. I abandoned my others including the high end foundation, $60, I'd recently purchased for it.
I have combo skin and occasional, hormonal breakouts but this, mostly applied with a brush, is amazing.
I have an impulse purchase issue with foundations & I haven't even been tempted since finding this. I can even wear it on my morning 5-6 mile hike w/o it breaking down.
In short, it's wonderful, 👍❤️

This foundation has worked amazing for my dry skin. I've been trying it with the smashbox photofinish primer with a beauty blender and it looks so good. I get a tiny bit bit of creasing in my smile lines but it get that with all foundations. Totally my new favourite. I need to test it properly in flash but I will probably wear it on my wedding day. I'm so surpised by it. Thanks for the recommendation!

Yeah I hate that. Too bad L'oreal is one of the few make-up brands that has products that don't give me breakouts or allergies or eye&lash issues. Don't know why. So I buy it with pain in my heart, but keep it mostly to mascara... I make sure the rest is cruelty free. Strangely enough (Luckily too I might add) a lot of cheap brands are cruelty free and vegan. Which is proof that the bigger companies have no excuse.

Abbie Kummer you won’t regret it. It blew me away. I have dry skin and usually only go for dewy radiant foundations because I hate when foundations cling to dry spots but this foundation doesn’t do any of those things and has a beautiful natural finish. I’m obsessed with it. It’s my go to right now

I bought this foundation forever ago and everyone who reviews it loves it. My experience is with it not so much. It looks cakey on my skin and i try to use as little as possible. I try brush vs sponge. It separates quickly. I feel like this is a skin issue not so much foundation but i don't know how to fix it. My skin in general seems great so i don't get it
Maybe it’s the skincare you use that doesn’t go well with the ingredients of the foundation 😊
I have the same issue. No matter how I prep my skin and apply this foundation, it looks horrendous. It looks super cakey and extremely dry. It separates after only a few hours and it is actually really difficult for me to apply. I had high hopes for this, but back to drawing board on a HG foundation I suppose lol
I totally agree - check ingredients of what you are putting on your face before this. This foundation is silicone based, so make sure you're not using oil or water based skin care or primers. I'd be interested to hear if this was the culprit. Good luck!

I would say the CYO for sure, but not the greatest shade range. Loreal’s has better undertones to choose from, but CYO is suitable for all skin types and looks more natural/seamless on the skin, imo, formula wise.
