Bro, you're nuts. That looks like so much stress, but I bet the challenge was a lot of fun. Thanks for another cool video.
Thanks for watching! Definitely was fun to experience it. But can say for sure it wouldnt be my top choice of tpt in bkk. Tiring! But better than being stuck in traffic for 1.5hr
Emma is the best. I have rented several times. First time road from BKK to Koh Samui and return. 2nd time to Chumphon and back.
I totally agree. Never had anything to complain about at Emma, always a good service, good prices for really good bikes.
Riding in Bangkok is so much fun. I love it
Hi!
As a fellow Thai Citizen/Rider try not to follow other biker ( majority of them likes to run red light. ) as for Thai traffic, Normally Friday is the worst 4 pm till 11 pm.
Please don't leave your belonging on the bike as most of the time it's easily stolen ( even camera grip )
I myself own a big bike to ride around it's abit challenging going through the cars sometimes.
Hope you had fun riding in bkk.
Hi there. As a tourist I am planning to rent aerox 155 for a week or so to ride to Hua Hin, Kanchanaburi. Is it OK to ride scooter in highways or it's illegal. What about tolls, expressway are 2 wheelers allowed
Hi there !
I would strongly suggest to check with the shop first before renting the bike to ride to other province.
As for highway / troll or express way . We can't ride on any of those.
going to Hua Hin or Kanjanaburi we don't have highway so you can ride without any problem.
Kindly take note that you have to wear helmet and ride below 120KMPH ( Thailand max speed )
going to hua hin please beware of the big heavy weight trucks while riding.
Ride Safe! Enjoy!
@@saeue thank you for the tip. I generally don't ride more than 80 km speed in my country itself. So you are saying bike rental will not allow to use aerox 155 type scooters in highway. Hua Hin is 250 km so will it be problem. Will check with rental.
What about Pattaya is it express highway?
Will I be able to ride scooter till patayya?
@@roninr8199 what im trying to say is that
you can ride anywhere u wanna go
but you have to check with the rental company first if they allow you to ride outside of bangkok.
As for highway / Troll way / express way you can't ride on any of them by thai law.
Anywhere is possible ! just not on highway/ Troll way / express way :)
i can roughly estimate the route you will need use to ride to each destination
Just let me know where u wanna go :)
@@saeue my plan is to ride to Kanchanaburi from Bangkok.
Then Bangkok to Hua Hin.
Then Bangkok to Pattaya. Might be rent for 2 weeks I will rent bike .
Also one day trip to aon Tong Buddha temple. Krabi, Phuket and chiang mai I will use flights.
I lived in Bangkok for 10 years and even I won’t dare ride a motorcycle in the city 😂😂😂 👏 👏 good job 👍
Great video, thanks for sharing your bike rental experiences in Bangkok. 😊
Thanks for doing this video! I was thinking of doing such during my next trip but not sure where I could rent the bike.
Thank you for watching. Emma bike rental has lots of great reviews but might not be the cheapest! Hope the info helped!
It's will also be good to start with something and continue and explore later as that is why adventure is all about. Thanks for sharing... Cheers!!!
Bangkok is just a boring traffic jam, the real fun starts when you try riding through Saigon...that's true insanity...
guess what , HCM is next on the list. 😅😆😪
Bro hcmc video is out. Your nickname was mentioned in the video 😂😂
Wah. For the hassle and stress, I think just use the bike taxi can already.
Hi sawatdee What is
The traffic in Bangkok
Is verycongested at some time.
You is always #MRTA #BlueLine and #liveredline #SRTRailway and #BMTA
already stress with 4pm bangkok traffic? come to jakarta bro, 5pm - 7pm on sudirman street to lotte shopping mall, not only stressed but can make you go scream
Would love to try that
@@tri333ple would love to accompany you also
Their peak hours starts 4pm until midnight. Friday and end of month will be more worst.
Overall, very tiring to ride in bkk. 😆
bangkok is on big trafficjam no matter wat time youre driving there , youre more nimble on a motorbike and can weave through traffic a little eazier
dont expect to be able to be able to notice interesting stuff on the side of the road as you be too busy dodging and weaving errant drivers in front of you
that said bangkok allso has cheap and fast bts trains that get you just about anywhere and you might be better off getting a rabbit card and walk the last few meters
if you do a lot of town driving an automatic / scooter is best it allso has storage under the seat for shopping and helmet and allows you to hold a bag with one hand and still be able to ride if needed
in mountains a motorbike with gears is best as on the downslopes you can downshift let go of the trottle and use the motor to slow you down , an automatic will freewheel if you do that so you need to hold the brakes all the way down making them too hot and fade , no fun braking for a corner and find out the brake dont work no more
16:11 Amos: Look at this...
Me looking on the left side of the screen: Yes i am looking
Eyes on the road bro!!!

@@tri333ple Question for Amos, what is needed to enter Thailand? Vaccination cert? Need do testing?
@@benlim3196 when i visited they didnt ask for any vaccination certs. Apparently there are some changes so its best you check again before you go for it . - Amos
And I’m a rookie of daily riding in Bangkok with all those stress. About 3 months now, never been better 🤣
Ride safe buddy! Sorry for the late reply!
Hii sir near which airport
Damn this looks scary and I’m planning to ride from bangkok to pattaya 🙃
what do you do for insurance? you look as if you are pretty experienced but what if you are not as good, what happens if you crash?
usually the rental has it, and you can pay extra for more if you want
thailand isnt like the west, things like insurance dont work the same way
what's the petrol price like now in thailand?
Side question bro, when you extend your insta360 with the selfie stick like in 4:21, does the weight drag it down over time? I face issues on SG highways where by the selfie stick just gets shorter or the stick goes down when riding. Great video and keep it up!! always loving your content
Throughout the whole journey the stick stayed at its length but dropped a little and i had to retighten the clamp, after it happened once i figured i didnt want to take that risk so i positioned the stick to lay on the windshield as extra backup to keep everything in its position. - Amos
Hi Sir, may I know which area to rent the motorcycle?. Thanks
check the streetname of youre hotel and doo a google maps search for rental places , there should be a few popping up , can allso do a walk around check for places with a row of mopeds with a for rent sighn on them , there plenty of those around
hi, Do we need Internation driving permit for renting it? I'm from India and have indian driving license. Thanks for making video.
Yes you do!
No you don't.... They don't even care about what you have, show a driving licence and when police stop you just hand them a 500 baht note or pay a fine lol....
@@zaksalam9665or have an International Driving License and pay no fines...
Taking grab bike is much cheaper and faster also
Yes agree. I actually think that its one of the better options if you weigh out all the pros and cons ! - Amos
Thanks for this info!
@@tri333pledefinitely not... The best option is getting your own Bike and have fun lol how you trusting someone else with your own life In a Maddness place like this!?
yey new video
Thanks for watching bro. Appreciate it 😆😆
@@tri333ple no probs man! also, u mentioned about your broken phone camera. was it because of you didn’t use a dampener on your mount?
What kinda watch are you using for navigation? Is that google maps?
Yes thats google maps. Im using the samsung watch 4 classic
Can I check with u . do Singaporean need to apply for international licence to rent a bike in Thailand or our current licence is enough?
the international licence is basicly a thai translation to youre licence so if youre driverslicence does not have thai language on it , you need the international one
its one of the favorite things the thai police check on as they make a lot of money with the tickets they write out for not having one (and for not wearing a helmet)
looks damn stressful, thanks for trying so we do not have to. definitely would help to have a very slim bike like a kapcai or smt.
I think its a must... after a while of riding it gets very tiring and i resorted to grabcar and grabbikes haha. Just overall an interesting experience but would be intimidating for a newer rider to experience - Amos
can i rent without a license😂
hi! do you need to apply for international driving license?
Some of the rental companies do not require the international licence for you to rent. Check with them before you go for it. -
Just use a cheap phone for nav. You don't even need cell service if you use an app with offline navigation. Even Google maps can do offline nav if you cache the maps before you go. One+ N200 is less than $250 USD, or just use one of your old phones for free. Even the cheapest phones have been supercomputers for several years. Trying to navigate with that watch looked painful.
guess i have to do that. seems like a better option compared to looking at the freaking watch haha! - Amos
@@tri333ple From my experience best to memorise the map, don't look at either a phone or smart watch, and then stop on the side when u really get lost. Anyway, they say the best way to really get to know a city is to get completely lost, and actually that's probably very true.
Totally agree with you. But at the same time i have very very bad habit ... relying too much on the gps. Maybe getting lost will be fun as well 😆 -Amos
@@tri333ple getting lost, if you have the time, is totally fun. I'm just saying an old beater phone beats a watch if you are using nav.
@@earlebird4262 am planning one to hcm and also planning to use a old phone and not the watch hahahahaha.
We need a ADV350 review soon please 👀👀
Not the gloves😭😭
That was Jake's fav gloves too. :(
India Is far better than this or in some area equivalent to this ..
India is Noooo where near better the worse place to drive is India... From past experience I will never Ever goo again
