SUPERBOOTH 2024: Error Instruments - Candy Cloud Experimental Synth

Sonic State had a chance to catch up with Paul from Error Instruments at Superbooth 2024 to get a closer look at their latest creations. One of the highlights from the interview was the Candy Cloud - an experimental synthesizer designed for both children and adults. With its unique delay and satisfying cherry knobs, users can explore a range of sounds from cinematic to droney or pulsing. It has an instrument input so it can also be used as an FX processor.
The interview also touched upon other intriguing products, such as the Ballerina and Brinta. The Ballerina*, a limited-edition device with CV control over its dancing girl and music box, is described as more of a fun gimmick as is *Dreams, *where you pull the string to start the music box. *Brinta, a granular sampler developed in collaboration with This Is No Rocket Science, offers an affordable option for those interested in granular synthesis. With upgrades to the software and enhanced audio levels, the Brinta provides users with a unique and engaging sonic experience.
