This is the first intro used on the TV show 'Misfits of Science', episodes 03, 04. Jazz intro by
Bobby Short, 80's vocals by Karen Lawrence.
The changes made between the three intros are:
Intro #2 replaces two of the action scenes between Gloria and Jane's segments with two different ones - now Miss Nance has a scene in the intro.
Intro #3 replaces the scene of the Fundae after the title card with a different one, El's segment and Dick's segment have different scenes, and Jane's segment is replaced with action scenes, since Jennifer Holmes was no longer in the show. The added scenes have different sound effects over the top.

i loved this show, and I thought this was one of the weirdest opening credits sequences ever, which made me love the show even more. wish this would come out on dvd.
I used to like this show. It was either the lead into or follow up show after Miami Vice on Friday. I liked the new - wave style theme. But then it was the 80s.
The DVD set has the original English audio, and is a great package!!

@brittonsimon The prevailing theory whenever a show has no DVD yet, is that the music rights are causing a hang up. And MoS definitely has a lot of hit music. I hope tho, that when they DO make a US release, that they don't cheap out and replace the music with knock-offs like other show's releases have done - that would just not be acceptable for our beloved Misfits of Science!!
It definitely aired in the US, I don't know about Canada.

Yeah, the lyrics are TOUGH to catch, lol! It took almost forever to interpret them (still unsure of the one bit...). I'm glad I could help you out! (Now I wish someone could tell me who was doing the singing of the 'It's Punky Brewster' cartoon theme - that's driving me nuts not knowing who's doing the vocals.)
