Mathew how many times have you made our hearts melt ❤ You really are so talented !! Your camera skills and your edits are so sweet and just the way you bring joy to everyone and let them express themselves... What a cool spot with the surf just a bit stone's throw away . That dread is next level Irie - Thanks to you Chucky and Ras kitchen family for bringing Jamaica into our homes - Respect ❤
This is best new episode in years. I'm really enjoying these episodes as you travel around Jamaica. The friendly people are calling my name. Soon Come.
Awesome, some new peeps to vibe with. So cool how you randomly met them by surfing. This place still has so much to offer and you have so much to offer it. I am sure all these guys will love the exposure you can give them like Mokko. Very interesting video thanks for posting.
I've been running Away from Noni ( Smells Horrible! ) for a very long time - Thanks to you Matthew I'm ready to turn around and Have a Big Glass! This was a Much Blessed Encounter Experience.....
Grew up in Saint vincent and the Grenadines. Had a few of those big trees loaded with fruit and we never touched them, assuming they were poisonous or not edible. The elders called it "jumbie apple ".
Hi there! I think some people are confusing soursop, which is related to cherimoya and sweetsop, and noni, which is from the coffee family. I am originally from Cuba and both grow in the island.
Not confused with Soursop, that is why it is called “Duppy Soursop”. Duppy is a Patois word with various meanings. Either way, Soursop is a common name not a Botanical Name so does not really matter (for example: many things are known as an “apple” with no relation to an apple).
I am referring to the guy who lives north of Tampa who says he has been unsuccessfully trying to grow soursop there. I think he is confused about noni and soursop.
One of the best videos that out on UA-cam regarding herbal natural nuni . Natures drinks. You should definitely stay in contact with them & also work with them. Collaborate chucki, & Mokko.
Big up Miami Ryan every time, always making a good vibes. It's such a wonderful place Jamaica. The camera was excellent view. Matthew is so professional. Noni juice it good for the body. Nuff Respect to Ryan again. He make things happen.
After two days you will notice the clear juice at the bottom of the bottle, you can get a teaspoon of the fresh juice. As the fruit ferments it shrinks so you can keep adding fresh ripe noni according to the space in the bottle. It takes 4 to 6 weeks for completion. Also ensure the lid remains tight during the py.
Really interesting vlog with all the awesome drinks. That man was very smart on how to get the best taste from the fruit. They should sell it. Stay safe Matty. Happy Friday.
I live 25 miles north of Tampa Florida. I've tried to grow soursop twice but it dropped into the mid 20s in the winter both times and took them out. 10 miles south of me or 5 miles west to the coast and they'd be OK. It doesn't freeze just that close of a distance. Enjoy those Jamaican Fruits that the land yields. I enjoy the Jamaican Pearl. 😉
There’s a UA-camr called Life in Florida who grows two soursop trees somewhere south of Sarasota but the fruits and leaves always drop whenever it drops to freezing. It’s an ultra tropical plant like mangosteen, pulasan, and coconut palm.
Matthew you got the real deal from the Emperor, man that is the fruit at it's best, I use it here as much as I can get it. It's good for all that he mentioned and the stamina of the bone .....lol.
That was awesome n informative. I could spend a lott of time with that wise soul. I live on the USVirgin Islands. The Noni fruit is also called " Starvation Fruit"...smell horrible but will eat as your last resort ... I do remember some folks making juices n herbal recipes long ago also. The wine is interesting to hear the elder talk about.. Thanks for sharing.
I love ribena, glad to know that Matthew was able to try both the fruit and the drink for the first time. As for the Noni, I've always avoided it because of the smell, turns out I don't know what I'm missing.
I just put it in the blender with water after it look translucent and then strain it …it looks like sour sap I add any kind of fresh fruits to it blend and drink 1glass per day I also add a bit of salt on the fresh fruit and eat it
The Jamaican “Ribena” fruit is probably yet another introduction to the island by Hindu labourers - Called Jamun in India or the Java Plum. It is typically sold fresh on roadside mixed with a Seasoned Salt.
What a sweet soul!!!❤that man has. Thank you for introducing us Matthew.

Matthew I love the way they say your name in Jamaica. Sounds so regal or like a sneeze. 👑
@Michael... lol
Machoo!🤧LOL
I had this in Fiji 🇫🇯. They wait for the fruit to fall from the tree, then collect and ferment them in a container.

You can even add the peeling from pineapple, apple or add orange, sorrel etc, while the noni fruit is releasing it's juice, very nice.
Ras kitchen is nothing but good vibes. I love this channel. Love and respect to all the Rastaman, always have a good vibe.

I can use that tonic❤️ bleessings
Noni grows all over my island, but i never tried it. The stink is enough to drive me away. Maybe mixed with honey I would try it.
I just put it in the blender with water after it look translucent and then strain it …it looks like sour sap I add any kind of fresh fruits to it blend and drink 1glass per day
I also add a bit of salt on the fresh fruit and eat it

Yes and Jamun is very good fruit to be consumed as medicine for diabetics.....especially its seed powder....
As development gets closer with the new highway, we must make sure to protect these people and include thim.
I. Like. Know. If. That. Grape. Is. Red. Inside. Or. When. It. Falls to. The. Ground, also. Does. It. Have. A. Seed. Inside???
