    Y'all are doing great! No one expects you to be able to unpack all of Aesop's lyrics on first listen. That shit's impossible but it's one of my favorite things about him. Every listen you're gonna pick up something differeny

      Thank you! It’s so true, he just has so many different things going on in his songs it’s impossible to catch first listen, we do our best though! Appreciate the support

    Bro! "I feel like Im letting him down" is an underated line. It took me 20+ intense watchings of this music video and still in the beginning of the guide I didnt realize he was illustrating how to catch the spirit world snail/squirrel, so he could eat its brains after the creature leaves it behind in his trap.. until I watched your reaction.

    • @Saints_Music

      I still go back and listen to this song and watch the video and feel like I catch new things every time. Appreciate you watching!

    “I feel like you need to like..”
    “Stop it after every bar?”
    Lmfaoooo I don’t even blame y’all
    When I listen to a new Aes album, I don’t go start to finish. I listen to each song 5 or 6 times in succession to make sure that I catch everything
    I’m still finding new favorite bars from songs he made 10+ years ago
    Good shit, boys

    • @Saints_Music
      @Saints_Music  3 роки тому +1

      Big facts. It would take us 6 hours to do one song and really get close to catching everything 🤣
      We are big Aesop fans so we always enjoy a reaction, even if it’s mostly just us listening mostly. Hopefully we can expose him to some new people 🙏🏻
      Appreciate you checking it out and commenting 🙌🙌🙌

      @@Saints_Music what dope is that we WANT to stop it after ever bar & soak ourselves in it for hours. a track could be way complex & need to be deep dived into but doesn't mean we wouldn't drag out feet thru it. eventually anything less becomes intolerable, it is evolution happening. WOWZA

      @@Saints_Music u guys did a gr8 job. i like that u stop it & react. i've heard the song i wanna see the react & i can tell you guys get it, & u bring us along w/ u. I'VE NEVER WATCHED HIS VIDS WHILE LISTENING! his 1st 5 albums there's no music videos for em! IF ONLY 1 SONG COULD BE HAVE EVER BEEN MADE & LISTENED TO FOREVER it's Aesop's DRYSPELL, or BIG BANG : ) i just posted video of how we got lyrics BEFORE THE INTERNET, using Aesop's Hall of Game, just writing 3 words out of 2 bars then rewind..

    Deep, deeper than Atlantis = this entire album
    First thing w that album, is you have to think of him speaking to you from the spirit world. Then you have to take entire verses as a whole instead of one liners. He's basically describing his life as if he's seeing it from the other side of the veil

    • @Saints_Music
      @Saints_Music  3 роки тому +1

      Apologies for missing this 🙏🏻 Definitely true, it’s why ‘catching bars’ is hard because they’re deep thought out stories with insane metaphors throughout, not so much punchlines. So awesome. Thanks for checking it out yougotmike, and letting us know your thoughts 🙌🙌

    More Aesop please. He's helping the world wake up, one bedraggled acolyte at a time.
    And I hear ya on the videos, trying to pay attention to the visuals makes it way harder to follow the lyrics. Usually when Aes drops a new music video, the first time I play it, I pretty much just let the visuals flash by and focus on the music and lyrics. He's got dope videos, but on first listen, my ears are too engaged for my eyes to deal with all that. 😆

    • @Saints_Music
      @Saints_Music  3 роки тому +2

      We will definitely try, we’ll be back doing reactions again soon.
      And totally, I I just get too high and the visuals suck me in! He goes so deep with his wordplay it’s hard to catch most of his schemes, especially with the way he draws them out across entire verses, songs and even albums. We just do our best to catch what we can, while promoting an underrated artist in Aesop. Appreciate you checking it out, we’ll drop some more from this project I promise

    Good job, Saints. Aesop is NOT a one time through. Even his easiest work has a couple layers. Might help to stop every stanza and react to each as opposed to taking the whole thing at once.

    • @Saints_Music
      @Saints_Music  4 роки тому

      Appreciate that advice! We have kinda gotten to the point we know we won’t catch all his bars, we def should pause it more but it’s so hard with how skilled it is. So many people still haven’t been graced by this dudes raps, so our main goal is to hopefully get some new fans for Aesop! Thanks Jester! 🙏🙏🙏

    The entire album is about travel. Aes is coming at travel in a Cathonic sense.
    Are the metaphorical Gates of life and death. Also there are gates in air travel. As a nother reactor says... Aesop Rock is too dope for popular consumption.
