Joining Ontario Provincial Police, and being caught committing shoplifting, it wouldn't really matter. Unless you were actually convicted of a felony no, and unless you were arrested there is no record of you being caught shoplifting. Now if you weren't arrested, then you wont be disqualified in any shape or form.
