i would say you are somewhat correct, but i did this myself since i leveled in Nightmare Incursions and my pet was still lvl 40 when i hit 50. i went into ZF Grave yard farm and used Trap launcher to boost it. around 6-8 runs and my pet was 50, easiest and fasts way of my life :)
I've literally started video, 50 sec in there is Broken Tooth rare mention. I was like I'll go camp it for few hours a day. As I land in Badlands I put character on auto run as I'm typing out auto targeting macro, I save it, put it on my bar, press it to test it and it targets Broken Tooth xD. Panic to find tame in my spellbook bang, took me few minutes with flypath from UC to get it, now just to level it! Good luck to everyone looking for him! :)
thanks for clearing this up man - I am going to have the core hound, the WS from ST and a 2.0 cat. I was sick to my stomach when I thought I would need a fast attack cat for ranged spec and a slower cat for melee since we only have 3 stable spots
No problem at all, I’m glad it helped gamertyper. I had the same train of thought and still hoping for blizz to toss a couple more stable slots our way
Is there anywhere we can see a pet talent build for p3…no one seems to ever talk about it and either you or another content creator did it once but it was for p2
Melee still wants bite. Ranged can turn it off. If you are only playing ranged, feel free to skip it. Just don’t forget down the road if they make changes to focus fire or if we start using a different rune
So if I do understand for ranged Hunter and the focus range rune the pet speed doesn’t affect the stacks cause it’s based on abilities wich have the same speed ? So is there a point to take a 1.0 speed for a ranged spec ?
So BM is doing a bit more damage but MM is necessary to have in the raid for true shot aura. Both are viable but if there isn’t already a MM in the raid you are going to want to go MM to help the group
cat is still going to beat the carrion bird due to the damage scaling being at 1.10 scaling for cats and 1.0 scaling for carrion birds. If you want to go the bird route the closest would be an owl or bat since they both have 1.07 damage scaling. Since we aren't using bite this phase due to focus fire, I think the damage between these would be really close. Just turn off screech and go claw only for the owl/bat and you should be close enough
The dps difference between the two is minimal if you are going ranged. 1.2/1.0 has a slight edge only for ranged but in the case of melee, you actually want the 2.0 attack speed cat because it performs better than the faster attack speed cats. My thought is that the small difference in dps between the 1.2/1.0 cats versus the 2.0 cats on a ranged build is that it is worth losing a small bit of dps and gaining the benefit that you don't have to power level that thing from level 37-50. Just my opinion
Another site said 1.2 is a must and range is the new IN thing. i spend 7hrs power lvl the fking cat to 49 and you now said it is redundant? can you guys make up your fking mind?!? can we have some consensus on before you guys publish what attack speed to use? JESUS!
I legit just did all that 1 hour ago. Everything this man said. Great helpful videos. Thank you for helping out the community.
I appreciate that blucasa. Glad the videos are helpful and thank you for watching
Genuinely a well put together video for a typically saturated space. Nice work.
Thanks Reshalock, I appreciate that. I'm glad the video helped and thank you for watching
Awesome vid, quick info is good info - To powerlevel pets in this phase use the solo ZF Graves farm with your pet active.
great suggestion, thanks alfstewart. I appreciate it and thank you for watching

Daaamn that is some luck! Congrats on getting Broken Tooth

So if i am a mele hunter, i could still use broken tooth? is tryhard but worth? or not?
i tame dragon in Sunken Tample but i didn't get new abilities from that pet
Did you ever get the ability? Try the son of hakkar. That should give you lightning breath 5
So why do we need the higher level bite if we're going to turn it off anyways?
Melee still wants bite. Ranged can turn it off. If you are only playing ranged, feel free to skip it. Just don’t forget down the road if they make changes to focus fire or if we start using a different rune

For a ranged hunter would a carrion bird with rank 7 claw be as effective as a cat with rank 7b claw?
cat is still going to beat the carrion bird due to the damage scaling being at 1.10 scaling for cats and 1.0 scaling for carrion birds. thx for the free 50 pet holy hell
Glad it helped deathknight. Thank you for watching
Why is it that you can get all different pets when only cat is best
Developers forgot about hunters pets In SOD
So there is no point in getting 1.0 or 1.2 pet

dont worry bro I took a lvl 37 jag to 48 as well before someone dropped another video and I was like ayo. Oh well I was gold farming anyway
phase 3 is kinda dissapointing :(
I feel you on that Bedna161. So far phase 1 was the best in my opinion but I still have high hopes for the 60 phase
Speak for yourself, I'm having a blast!
@@thomassvoice7350 good shit, glad to hear it. I think there are a lot of people enjoying phase 3
