Very cool! That solvent dispenser looks super handy.
Is there any concern about the ice pick losing hardness, or is it long enough that the tip stays cool?
Absolutely! That was a piece of mild steel inside while flaming. The final ice pick shaft was installed post heat. Good question!!
Titanium is so cool, and the way you can change the color with just fire is so cool, great video austin
Thanks Jacob!
So cool! You get such a nice even fade through the color spectrum.
Thank you!
Super cool! I love Titanium it was all the rage in the late 90s for bike parts, that an anodising EVERYTHING.
I remember those days!
@@HighCaliberCraftsman a more simple time :)
This is a really awesome and quick video that’s packed with knowledge. I haven’t done metal work yet but can’t wait to learn when we return to the states.
Glad it was helpful!
Great work! I'm thinking about anodizing my Ti pen. Seem straight forward. Thanks for the video!
Good luck! 👍🏼
That’s some cool looking colors, good to know how it’s it’s done
Thanks buddy!
So freakin cool man! I already ordered a couple of those bottles too - great tip!
Thanks Ethan! The map gas bottles are super handy!
They're so pretty!
Thanks Andy!
You should really consider making dynavap stems. There’s a lot of money in that community. Awesome video!
And Chris Evans as Human Torch again. Epic 😂😂😂😂
I had a bit of concern with flame anodizing titanium, but this doesn't produce any carcinogens does it?
Holy hell! Those pens!!!!
That's wild! Seems easy once you get some titanium.
It sure is! Thanks for watching!
I would like to see what pattern it forma when there’s finger prints and skin oil left on the bar .
Does the colour stay permanently or does it fade or get scratched off?
It can be sanded or scratched off if its a deep enough scratch.
@@HighCaliberCraftsman could you give me an idea for how deep it would need to roughly be? Would it be easily scratched or need some effort?
does it work with zinc?
Could this work with Belisong handles too?
fast and helpful !
What kind of torch is that??
What type of torch do u use
It’s a map gas torch
Is this something that scratches and wears off with use
Hallo sir, how to remove colour for titanium torch?
Just sanding it will remove it.
Wow that was fast!!
😂 thanks!
Sweet! Now I just need to find something titanium to make😂
I know just the place you can order some Grant! Link in the description!
I actually bought from them before because McMaster Carr doesn't really like selling small quantities to people outside of the US.
Oh yeah...so cool!!
Thanks Grumpy!
That's pretty hot 🔥
no doubt!
