Just so you know. There’s a bug that happens where after moving your missile units they get stuck in “moving” state (after they’re in position) and won’t shoot. It doesn’t matter with the shoot-while-moving ones but it can be a pain with the ones who can’t.
You just need to click “halt” and then (after that unchecks fire-at-will) re-check fire-at-will on each. Yup.
Lucky the entire army can shoot whilst moving then, I guess.
@@JanetOnOccasion truly fortunate actually, as most other races armies (only player led of course) have missile units sitting on hills watching the sun set while the outnumbered melee get slaughtered.
The Oak of Ages is the only forest that needs to get to 500, the rest only need 100-200 iirc. *However*, by completing those threes you actually make the Oak improve faster.
I remember losing that battle with a low level army because of that damage aura, and Janet does it with half an army and doesn't even notice the effect...
I quite like the idea of the wood elves having an elite set of actual knights, they do have a courtly system after all and Glade Lord titles. Dark elves have cold one knights, and Imrik’s faction is the Knights of Caledor, so it’s not out of the elven wheelhouse
There is a tech , eagle messangers or something like that which provides vision over all magical forests. allows you to interact with nearby factions so you can easily declare war.
Havent seen an elf campaign in a long time so this has been very fun to watch!
