@Dvadesetdevetka its a fighter by designation. technically a bomber. and it is a stealth craft. That plane that was shot down was only detected cos it opened its bomb bay doors.
@Juticar That's because the F-117 is not actually a fighter. It has no ability at all to fight another aircraft. It's actually role was more like that of a small bomber.
Yer I aint talking gibberish. He flew with the Reds in '93-'96. After that he flew the SEPECAT Jaguar for a few years. In 2002 he (along with my brother and my mum) was posted to America to fly the F-117 Nighthawk. By the way I know there isn'tonly 50 in the world. There may be nowadays since they are retired but there were AT LEAST 350 aircraft of that type on the Air Force Base in America.
@ManSmokingACigarette my bad, Either way those planes as of April 22nd 2008 have been replaced by the F-22 Raptor and the F-35 Lightning II, so it doesn't make a difference really.
@ManSmokingACigarette I believe that was the V-2 bombers we had right before we came out with the Stealth Bombers, B-2, we made this in case a war broke out between us and the Soviet Union.
If you think technically, the first STEALTHY fighter could be the Mosquito, considering its wood, it obsorbed the radar waves so it didn't show up on radar, and flew low and fast. But thats only really technically.
@77shaster well actually, technically, it was designated a fighter to confuse the soviets of its main role, to bomb things, and as it has no gun, and is not manueverable, it is more of a small, stealth bomber, not suitable for the fighter role
@CMEM1 -You've just made 4 mistakes. 1-your not you 2-would have not would of 3-taught not tought 4-There is not supposed to be a space between the word "Sentence" and the exclamation point.
Right, it's not visible to the naked eye but I saw it!!!!!! You probably can't see it but I can because my eyes apparantly are not vulnerable to stealth technology.
@msn4n It's from WIKIPEDIA and it's well known fact. "Lockheed incorporated in its program paper written by a Russian physicist Pyotr Ufimtsev in 1962 titled Method of Edge Waves in the Physical Theory of Diffraction, Soviet Radio, Moscow, 1962. In 1971 this book was translated into English with the same title by U.S. Air Force, Foreign Technology Division (National Air Intelligence Center ), Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, 1971"
Hell yeah it was pure luck. And technically it wasn't hit, the rounds were just exploding close by to the plane and the pilot ejected. We lost a plane, but the pilot lived. Not a huge deal. Only stealth plane to ever be lost. F-117 has flown thousands of sorties.
I know his name cos he ma dad. Wing Commander R Matthews. He got in touch with Spike for the idea of F-117 and Red Arrows fly past and they said 'yer lets do it!' It was actually my mums idea to do this fromation!!lol
yes he did. maybe we'll see him on a F-22 video calling it a german plane from ww2 as well. and tomorrow morning he will wake up and get on the short yellow bus and go to school.
@UBRS85 that was a complete fluke, the serbs were randomly shooting missiles in the flight path that other f-117s took over the past couple days, so wrong
@ererr11 I know, B2 is the wing. This was pertaining to an earlier post. Someone said the B2 could fly the Atlantic in 30 minutes and that is just bull shit. Nukes can barely do that.
Yer just a bit sat in both of those aircraft!! Simply amazing.
you know, i never realized how big that plane was! looks huge compared to the other aircraft it was with.
That is my dad in the F117. He also used to fly the Red Arrows
"our country has the best air force and military in general in the world"
Well best equipped! That's as far as I would go!
God, I love my country.
I thought you couldn't see stealth fighters? I saw it in both fly-by's!!! I must have superman eyes!
i like how they gave the 117 a fighter designation
I always loved 117 nighthawks and b-2 bomers
damn 1 stealth bomber and some directional strikes massive killcount
Impressive perfection!
WOW! stealth bomber is so expensive,,^^ and pretty cool
@Dvadesetdevetka its a fighter by designation. technically a bomber. and it is a stealth craft. That plane that was shot down was only detected cos it opened its bomb bay doors.
So yeah the F-117 is the Stealth Fighter and the B-2 spirit is the Stealth Bomber. There you go Cartman204 :)
@Juticar
That's because the F-117 is not actually a fighter. It has no ability at all to fight another aircraft. It's actually role was more like that of a small bomber.

@ShadyAZN6969 is right, F 117, the F stands for Fighter as the B stands for bomber and R stands for reconaissance
i gootta go to that show brilliant
@ManSmokingACigarette I believe that was the V-2 bombers we had right before we came out with the Stealth Bombers, B-2, we made this in case a war broke out between us and the Soviet Union.
Great video!!
If you think technically, the first STEALTHY fighter could be the Mosquito, considering its wood, it obsorbed the radar waves so it didn't show up on radar, and flew low and fast. But thats only really technically.
@DudemanClide Actually, they were Hawks. But yeah, awesome none the less.
@77shaster well actually, technically, it was designated a fighter to confuse the soviets of its main role, to bomb things, and as it has no gun, and is not manueverable, it is more of a small, stealth bomber, not suitable for the fighter role
9 Harriers and a Stealth Bomber?! Hacker!
Now that's a strafe rum
@CMEM1 -You've just made 4 mistakes. 1-your not you
2-would have not would of
3-taught not tought
4-There is not supposed to be a space between the word "Sentence" and the exclamation point.
One sight you never want to see if u are the enemy.
awesome
Right, it's not visible to the naked eye but I saw it!!!!!! You probably can't see it but I can because my eyes apparantly are not vulnerable to stealth technology.
Vary nice video
cool vid!
thats my birtday :)
@mikeplay007 : thanks
but i read some where Germany made Steath fighter in World War 2?
the F-117 might not be a stealth bomber but it was not disegned for dogfighting
I cant see any harriers, I can see 9 hawks of the Red Arrows with the stealth bomber
@MilitaryLad The B2 is slow. you're thinking of the black bird. b2 is subsonic.
WOW!!
@msn4n It's from WIKIPEDIA and it's well known fact.
"Lockheed incorporated in its program paper written by a Russian physicist Pyotr Ufimtsev in 1962 titled Method of Edge Waves in the Physical Theory of Diffraction, Soviet Radio, Moscow, 1962. i would like to have the privilege of flying in one of those badboys
@tractorman96 no its a stealth fighter
no the top plan is the 1963 black brid
the top bomber is the b-2
@MilitaryLad are you serious?
from america to britain? thats insane
The stealth "fighter" has never done anything but drop 2000 pound bombs. It's retired now. It was never a fighter and never intended as one.
who would thumbs down that?
hell yea U-2 climbs 85,000 ft. thats, like 16 miles. way up in the stratosphere.
Feeling a little proud of him, are you?
they are F-117 nighthawk
It's invisible to the radar, not to the naked eye
@Underoathalex12 This isn't a B2, its an F-117, but yea, its still not that fast
RIP F-117 (the fleet was retired)
if they were to accidently press the drop missiles button it wouldn't drop anything because they disarm them
its not a stealth fighter but a stealh bomber, the only fighter which have stealth is the f35 joint strike fighter right now in the moment :)
You're apparantly just jealous that I can see the stealth fighter and you can't. My eyes are stealth technology proof.
The B-2 is newer. What's not great about the F-117? The F-117 was not replaced by the B-2, it was replaced by the F-22.
i wana join the air force now :D
@CBMaster2
got that right dude.
I recognize the F-117 but what are the other Fighter planes?
Great video.. I take it that F-117 is being flown by a British pilot?
Dear Santa..
I know his name cos he ma dad. Wing Commander R Matthews. He got in touch with Spike for the idea of F-117 and Red Arrows fly past and they said 'yer lets do it!' It was actually my mums idea to do this fromation!!lol
@chris243444 I think they are Hawks actually....
@oakcliff621 nooooo, but you should feel honored
my birthday :]
@Stover36 he can dream =) Those aren't even close!
It was a Highass plane.
@klote2314 lol thats the F 117 Stealth fighter
It probably has , many times.
who invented the Stealth Fighter?
Dear santa...
wow
It's a F117 Nighthawk, not a B2 spirit.
Thinking about it, why is a Bomber, the F117, classified as a Fighter (F) ?
hariars are cool.
@Underoathalex12 Yeah, b2 doesnt hit supersonic.
@austing12 -Sorry, but i cant help but call you a noob. The stealth bomber is a killstreak in MW2.
They stopped using F-117 totally in 2008 I think.
@klote2314 haha i dont know anything about planes and stuff soooo yea just saying people call it a stealth fighter hehehe
yes he did.
maybe we'll see him on a F-22 video calling it a german plane from ww2 as well.
and tomorrow morning he will wake up and get on the short yellow bus and go to school.
Hmm , i didn't know the plane was "invisible" till we shot it down in Serbia..
@kenjihimonatashi i don't think it is
F117 have very speciall place in Serbian museum.
sweeeet
@dracel10 its still not a stealth bomber
@UBRS85 that was a complete fluke, the serbs were randomly shooting missiles in the flight path that other f-117s took over the past couple days, so wrong
did mw2 bring any of you here??
THe f-117 was shot down cuz they kept flying in the same paths. Besides these Serbs guessed anyways...
@chris243444 indeed.
@ererr11 I know, B2 is the wing. This was pertaining to an earlier post. Someone said the B2 could fly the Atlantic in 30 minutes and that is just bull shit. Nukes can barely do that.
Stealth F117 if im not mistaken?
isn't the b-2 Spirit the Bomber?
@ itmsl
the only difference is that these geese crap bombs on you. charming.
It was retired though : (
@garysmith782 it's not loud at all
WTF how is that stealth, that was hella loud
please stop hacking on me!!! I get enough of that in school!!!
Didnt you say that on another vid i just watched? NO this is not a Horten either. it's a F-117 nighthawk
Somebody got a killstreak....
.... Id hate to be there if my name was Osama Bin Ladden
Stealth for the radar anyway
@zkenzo I know, it was decommisiond after lfying in Serbia. Two with the Serbian Misiles, rest by Pentagon.
Was very bad experience.
