Have you ever had any issues cutting the base of a toadstool leather? I have a big one that grew onto the bottom of the aquarium! Gonna slice it off and rubber band it to rock 🪨
I haven't. Given the resiliency of leathers, the flesh that remains on the rock will eventually product another toadstool. Cool coral!
Awesome to see this video since I’ve been really considering fragging my big toadstool in the lagoon! I do know a home where one of those weeping willows would look REALLY good! Cheers and awesome video Remy!

I work the night before the swap but I’m going to try and wake up early enough to catch the back half of the swap. Unfortunately most them gems will gone by then.

Hey would you do a complete walk threw on what it takes to start a new reef tank with sand all the steps to establish bacteria and make the drips to help coral grow and survive? Also how to feed certain coral and how much?
Look up Bulk Reef Supply's "52 weeks of reefing". They cover EVERYTHING in those videos. So good!

Hey Rem, I am always looking forward to your videos, this channel really inspires me. Your videos always look amazing, do you have any tricks for when you’re recording your tanks considering the blue lights and shimmering from the lights? I just posted a couple videos on my page of my tank with my new iPhone 12 Pro along with a coral lens kit, but they look awful (very blurry). I’m not that great with cameras or how to properly set them, do you have any tips? Sorry for the long comment, you’re the best!
If you go back in my channel I have a "How to Make A Reef UA-cam Channel" video and a "Taking Photos of Your Reef" video that might help. It's definitely something that takes some practice. One thing that will help with the shimmer is turning off the flow.

Great as always! Vegas is having their swap next week. We actually have 2 different ones next week, one on Saturday and another one on Sunday. But looking forward to the Saturday swap and get some goodies, plus there will be 2 tanks up for raffle plus more!

What type of iodine did you use?
I use Kent Lugols Solution. It's probably overpriced and you can find different brands that are cheaper.

Why not just a little dab of coral glue?
They tend to slime up so the glue doesn't work. However, recently was talking to someone who said they dab the area to be glued with a paper towel to dry it a bit and add glue. I've never tried it but it seems plausible.
Someone out there has a coral big enough to use a chainsaw on. Probably some big staghorn somewhere.
