Thank you! There is a deaf employee at Walmart and I made his day by asking him how his day was the other day! I want to learn more to talk more to him
This is HANDS DOWN the BEST ASL teaching program I have EVER learned from. Meredith is an amazing educator. She is easy to understand, is NOT 'long-winded' like the British guy she sometimes collab's with. 🙄That dude takes FOREVER to say the simplest things. And, the production quality IS impeccable! So, Good Job, Husband! I look forward to learning everything I can from you. Thank you for giving so much of your time, energy, and sharing your teaching gifts with us. Mahalo
I really appreciate these videos. I currently got a new job at a doctors office and my kids and I wanted to learn a new language and ASL has come in handy. I have been able to communicate with patients and translate for the staff.
Hi Meredith, I've always wanted to learn how to sign since I was a kid, I'm so glad that I found your channel 😍 Your videos are amazing and so simple and easy to learn and understand! It's been a wonderful experience thus far 😀 Kudos to your teaching methods and production team for these exceptionally well crafted videos 💕
thank you for these videos!I'm going to be signing in no time! I love it when you do it in slow motion, it makes it a lot easier for me to learn that way
We r still here learning it all we can. Brody is doing great for not living or being of non speaking or hearing community but he is using it to talk to us. He is trying to use his words with his mouth but he is doing signing more and I am so proud of him and his daddy for joining just because he saw an opportunity to do something his son loves
Thank you so much for this videos ❤❤❤ it's helping me learn so much. I watch these videos to remember what my instructor taught me in class and it really helps my memory
Thank you so much for making all these videos! A good friend if mine is hard-of-hearing and it helps to learn asl for her and myself, plus i figured out ASL is a great alternative to speaking for me!❤
isnt is rude to say asl is meant for deaf people? mute people, autistic people and people with speech problems can use sign language too. Or people who just want to learn a new language in general.
Thank you so much! This is so helpful! Me and one of my best friends were at church and she had an ASL book so we started learning, and she already knows some so this is super helpful to allow me to catch up a bit! Tysm!
Great question! Understand flicks up towards the head (think of a light bulb turning on) and it is typically signed with a head nod. 1 is just 1 with no movement and is located in just in front of the signers body. Hope that helps.
Hello! I am a pharmacy student learning ASL for conversations with patients. Thank you for your efforts! I notice you sort of move your hand in a circular motion when fingerspelling ASL. Is there a reason and is it necessary to do this when fingerspelling? Thank you!
Your videos are not captioned for Deaf people watching. I am Deaf and I teach ASL without talking in English as don't need to hear English to learn or teach ASL.
The production quality of these videos is outstanding.
Thank you! The video producer (my husband) is pretty amazing!!!
I can’t say this enough, when you sign in slow motion I love it!!! Thank you.
Oh thank you so much.
Thank you! There is a deaf employee at Walmart and I made his day by asking him how his day was the other day! I want to learn more to talk more to him

Glad you like them!
Thanks 🙏 ❤
Thank you very much.
You are welcome!
Do you use the closing statement for every sentence? Or just when you are done talking after a series of sentence?
Hi! Thank you for these lessons. Quick question, how do you differentiate “1” to “understand “?
Great question! Understand flicks up towards the head (think of a light bulb turning on) and it is typically signed with a head nod. 1 is just 1 with no movement and is located in just in front of the signers body. Hope that helps.
Yes a lot

Crazy question, where did you get your shirt from that you're wearing in 1:10-1:40?
Sign for "Mine"?
The word "mine" would be just like signing I or Me, but because it's possessive, you would put your palm to your chest instead of using your finger.
If I wanted to sign don’t understand...couldn’t I do the sign for don’t then the sign for understand? Or is it only the negation of understand?
Technically you could but it wouldn't be true ASL. To stay true to ASL signs and structure it could need the negation of don't-understand as one sign.
Thanks you for responding!!! Your channel in INCREDIBLE and it is probably the most helpful and organized tool to help me learn ASL!

That is a great question. If you already know Polish Sign Language, I would suggest trying ASL and see if that would be beneficial in your area.
