Stay safe!
Thanks for your work. Happy New Year.
i just thought of a cool invention, every car should have imbedded in them, something that ties the cars every responsiveness during situations such as this and used as evidence.
basically this system would record that you braked and it would be side by side information that could be matched alongside the video evidence as a way to prove some of these harder to judge situations.
cameras are great, but if something also recorded your response in every situation such as using the gas or breaks and played at the same time during a simulation of the video to see what was actually going on, it could help prove that someone was either innocent or guilty in the situation.
it would be used to pinpoint who's at fault in any given situation, so we have more to draw off of than just the camera footage.
anyway, as far as i know, this tech doesn't exist, but something could be made to make the roads safer and it could be used to protect yourself and the other driver depending on who is at fault.
@@user-tp5yb4hr4w You mean the equivalent of a black box, like commercial airplanes have. (And, incidentally, at least some, possibly all, US train engines.)
@@KaiHenningsen
yes except for cars on the road. but then again, i'm not too familiar with how a black box works or the version on trains do.
when i originally wrote this, i was thinking of those gameplay videos showing someone playing the game, but it also showed their button presses in real time along with the video, and that's the info that i'm talking about.
and also having more camera's if possible would also help in the accidents or incidents recorded in every situation.
What’s with the essays? Maybe I’d Like & Subscribe if I didn’t have to pause video to read a Short Story.
As an insurance adjuster, I can confirm that people are just constantly submitting dash cam footage they think helps their case, but actually shows they are the ones at fault.
But you gotta love it when they make your job a little easier...
@@aaronthomas6155 :)
I can imagine that if it happens to many people that have dash cams and they are at fault, they suddenly realised they forgot to put the memory card into the camera. Generally brake checks are a no brainer I would think.
@@niagaramike528 surprisingly enough the big one is people thinking they are not at fault when they are making an unprotected left turn. They like to say, how can I be at fault, they drove right into the side of my car? And it's like we'll yeah, but my dude, you turned across their lane of travel.
Like the 'are you kidding me bro', bro bro bro guy who turned into the roadway to the center lane. You must enter into the nearest lane. Driving 101.

#9 On the 401. Car did nothing to you other than pass and you didn't like it so you decided to hit your high beam lights on them. Guess you fkd around and found out didn't ya?
hahaha haha. well deserved, I hope your premiums sky rocket. flashing your highbeams twice for no reason other than you got passed. what a soft c u next Tuesday
It was a little sketchy on the pass but they 100% should have just slowed down and avoided it/ passed on the right instead of focusing on their high beams
@@dc7993 Their EGO didn't want to lose a brake check battle 😢
100% the cammers fault. obviously he got the karma he asked for, but also doesn’t even know how to drive defensively and be aware of his surroundings. he almost died steering into that truck
Yeap cammer at fault, The car passed with plenty of space, and then they slowed down some time later (you sped up the footage) and you were upset they slowed down so you beamed them instead of changing to the passing lane to pass. Worse than brake checking is intentionally keeping your brights on intentionally blinding the driver in front of you, causing them to brake cause they can't see (so was it really a brake check?). One thing to flick your brights, it's another leaving them on.
4:19 - "My insurance says I'm at fault. I don't understand why, since I was flashing my high beams, participating in road rage and unsafely changed lanes right into a semi truck. How can you maintain your lane when the person in front just stop ??? Cammer started it but like what ?
@@MajinMist603 you maintain your lane and run right into them. Once you try and change lanes to avoid an “obstruction” in the road, it’s your fault if you hit another car.
@@MajinMist603 The car stopped in front of him because the cammer participated in road rage instead of just letting it go.

Yeah, I'm sure they were talking on the phone together and heard each other. 😂
The guy makes an illegal right turn (into far lane) in front of someone then lets him by, then rear ends him, and has the audacity to blame the other driver, berating his car, calling him "bro" (17 times). and the poor purse dog hiding in the back seat with his tail between his legs. The only thing his dash cam will show is how negligent he was.
While there was some bad driving here... most could be avoided if they tried... it's like "I've got a dashcam! I can hit anyone who drives badly and I'm right"
4:09 Brake checking is illegal, yes, but don't be surprised when the insurance finds you at fault for swerving into someone who had nothing to do with your pissing contest.

Hey, Bro. Even the dog knows you’re wrong #10. I’m surprised the little dog didn’t fly though the windshield. People need to secure their dogs in a harness.
#20. Even if you're speeding in the left lane, there's always someone going faster. Move over , let them pass, then get back on it.
Exactly I mean is it that hard to have a little bit of fucking courtesy
I agree I hate left lane hoggers I’m not a speed demon in the left lane I go about 15 over but I’ll still move over for others the person who took the video for #20 I feel is at fault because his pride refused to allow him to move over and let others pass he acts like he owns the freeway I got this from when he said I won’t put myself out just to enable/promote others to speed he claims to be putting himself out the lane as if it’s bad to move over as if he owns the lane
It's not even courtesy ... it's the law (in nearly every state). It doesn't matter if you're going 95 in a 55 ... stay right except when passing. It's not your job to meter (or even care about) the relative speed of others. There is actually a job for that and it's called being in law enforcement.
But, if you scroll to the very, very end, you can see just how ignorant this guy is: "I emailed a lawyer to for a consult on pursuing hit and run charges." Ugh. That's not how that works. People don't get to hire lawyers to charge other people with criminal charges. My goodness, this guy just doesn't get it.
To me, it seems that many of the complaintents are driving hyper--aggressivly, and while there are many idiotic merges and break checks, most of these collisions could have been avoided by just slowing down a tad and anticipating traffic a bit.

Cammer's seem to think they don't have to worry about actually driving safely, because 'they have a dashcam' ffs.

Wife: "Get away from him, please."
Husband: "No. I got it on dashcam."
I used to have friends who insisted that they would rather get hit than to yield their right of way. It doesn't matter how right you are, your car is still crumpled, you still have to deal with the insurance and the body shop. Your vehicle will still never be the same.
Eventually, they figured it out. Some sooner than others.
#20 - After the guy stops in front of you, you guys chat a bit, then you go right back to the left lane again. Its clear you DON"T know the way it works. Its not about how fast you're going in that lane, its about whether or not you're passing anyone. Why don't people get that?
Yup, you can be going 100 mph and if someone want to pass get the hell over you don't determine the speed or set the pace.
In VA, vehicles are not allowed to remain in the left lane.
If they remain in the left lane, they can face a fine of $100.
From your description, it is clear that you know people will react badly to you camping in the left lane, but you don't care. Somehow I think you enjoy getting the rager's attention. I imagine if attitudes don't change we will be seeing more of your videos. If anything from all these videos is clear, tailgating and left lane camping are two huge rager triggers. It is a shame police don't ticket both more often.
It's also clear that #20 isn't aware that speeding is not really dangerous at all until you start weaving in and out of traffic. Cars and highways are easily capable of managing speeds of 90mph (though at that point many cars tend to get sketchy)
What *IS* dangerous is forcing people to pass you on the right. Oh, and antagonizing people you already consider to be crazy. I'm sure you'll be glad you "taught that tailgater a lesson" when he pulls out a weapon and kills you on the side of the road.
All that said, don't brake check. Ain't no law against slowing down, though, unless there's a minimum speed limit.
Totally agree. The problem wouldn't even occur if the cammer wasn't camping in the left lane. If you're not overtaking someone, get in the right lane, no matter if someone wants to pass, but especially then!

To the cammer at 11:15 forward: You are not law enforcement, so "protecting the public" is not your job. The left lane is for passing. If you live in a state where the road signs say "Slower Traffic Keep Right'" regardless of the speed limit (again, not your job) and someone is going faster than you, then that makes you Slower Traffic. In some states, you could be ticketed for your stupidity. So stay the f*** out of the left lane, whether you are at, below, a little above, or a lot above the speed limit UNLESS you are passing. #4 1:55 Up ahead there's a truck and three cars that all swerve onto the hard shoulder, which suggests that there's something on the road that should be avoided, and that's why the car in front braked. Primary fault lies with the car with no working brake lights stopping on the highway but the cammer could have avoided this accident in several ways:
- Looking more than one vehicle ahead.
- Paying more attention to the vehicle ahead.
- Leaving a larger gap to the vehicle ahead.
- Using the emergency hard shoulder.

If youre going under the speed limit, stay right.
If youre going faster than the speed limit, well youre the ass hat speeding.
@@kanenine5838 not how it works. If you're not passing stay right. It's that simple. Has nothing to do with speed
@@chasewilliam1902 no body should be going faster than the speed limit.
There fore anyone doing the speed limit, would pass anyone, or large trucks that are not going the speed limit.
Passing literally involves speed. It has everything to do with it.
@@kanenine5838 you're completely missing the point. The law is perfectly clear. Move over to the right once you have passed another vehicle. The camera is clearly in the wrong for not doing that, but it does not excuse the idiot for brake checking him.
10:10 lay off the fkn horn and just pass him later or just go the speed limit like he was doing.
I got just ONE word for these drivers… ARROGANCE!
I love these videos. They're fun.
I counted 4 or 5 times that the cammers weren't at fault at all.
😂🤣
So few? must be a record for this channel.

I was hoping his little dog got sick of his smarmy whiny voice and rip his jugular right out of his neck
Bro! Didn't you bro when he bro the bro, bro! Bro, this bro bro goes bro to bro. BRO!
And for driving like an idiot. Cammer needs two lanes to swing that shitbox onto the street from a parking lot. He should at least make sure the coast is clear first.
I hope someone steals his poor dog and gives it a better home. He's gonna end up killing that poor, frightened thing.
Dumb bastard was bound and determined to wear out that word.
I do believe he succeeded.
#17 I love how you say you were going with the flow of traffic. Only problem is that the only person in front of you was they guy you hit, and there was nobody behind you as we can see when you spin around. Cold winter day with wet roads, you were driving way too fast. This was at least 50% your fault.
Also, in my opinion, looks like the car in front is literally trying to get out of the way because of how fast POV is approaching; especially with how they tried to go back when our POV tried to change lanes
I think a good number of these brake check victims are probably camping out in the left lane, blocking the flow of traffic. If everyone followed the slower traffic, keep right rule, I'll bet more than half of these incidents would never happen.
Case in point: the guy at 12:25 admits he is speeding, but refuses to give up the left lane for a faster car. Who decided that he gets to set the bar for illegal speed? Just move your ass over. Problem solved.
#18 seems like a relaxed, mentally balanced person 😂
The guy in number 20 sums it up 100% when he says "I should probably get over it but I can't just let it go"
I never understood this line of thinking! I get heated in the moment at shit on the road, but you just have to keep in mind that after a couple minutes, you'll probably never think about that interaction again in your entire life. Unless of course, you give into your road rage and turn nothing into something major.
He admits to doing 15 over, then says he doesn't want to promote speeding so he camps the left lane... You're making it more dangerous by making speeders swerve around you...
He's just as a big of a douche as the other driver
@@NEPAAlchey Depending on the exact time the clip was recorded, there might only be a handful of vehicles on the road in that area.
This guy was also a complete douche and a whiner. The cops didn't care. We don't care. He could have avoided this incident but he chose to be a douche.
The perfect caption for most of these clips is "You're BOTH idiots!"
Why on earth would anybody brake check a 90,000 lb truck going 70 mph?? They cannot stop on a dime and hitting you could kill you. These people must have a death wish or something!!!
3:25 Actually, you had no business entering the intersection until All traffic had cleared it. That is the law.
How about... Drive more defensively even if they brake check you? Half of these cammers are at least partially at fault.
I just let the speeding dickweeds go ahead or they ride my bum anyways. Driving defensively is key because you avoid any damage to yourself
"I shouldn't have to space more than 1 ft from the guy in front of me's back bumper, it's THEIR fault I hit them for braking at a red light! I mean, I have no reaction time! I'm only 1ft away from them after all, what am I supposed to do in that situation?!"
@@nachos1162 thats how truckers look at it even in my car i dont drive big simis i give 3 plus car Lenths to everyone as i appreciate when they do same for me
While true it's far safer to always drive like every one is an idiot, with at least two car lengths between you and the car head (especially if on the free way). It can easily be taken advantage of as people will constantly cut in front of you. And a lot of these video's are by people who gave the car ahead space and some one tried to squeeze in.
if we could see the few minutes before the accident I reckon a lot more of them would obvioously be the cammer's fault. A lot of them seem to be camping in the overtaking lane, which is probably what triggers the brake checks that seem to come from nowhere.
I side with most of the dashcammers but several of these accidents could have clearly been avoided had the dashcammers slowed down and drove more defensively. You can be “right”, and still be at fault, too.
I think the same. Of course the other drivers are idiots and have a good part of the blame, but many of those who record also behave like idiots. Without being stubborn and instead of letting an idiot pass, they decide that it is a good idea to act the same as them, or not let other drivers pass, or honk without stopping, etc.
When a holes collide is what I got from this video.
Most of the vehicles recording could have avoided their crashes if they had driven defensively.
8:28 I cannot even begin to describe how glad I am that I don't have this woman as my passenger. If she was my mother I would leave her at home
I would have pulled over and said "I need you to look at tge back tire." The minute she got back there I would slam the door and drive off. When she got home u moved out.
Its clearly an older woman who just wanted her son to stay out of trouble. What is wrong with you.

1:25 "If I was hoggin the lane the police would have given me a citation." The thing is that Texas cops almost never issue citations for traffic infractions they didn't personally witness, unless it caused a wreck with serious property damage or bodily injury. It doesn't mean you're right and innocent, Mr. Cammer. It just means you are not nearly as important as you think you are.
yeah seriously, the cops won't write a citation showing you left lane hogging, but they absolutely will write a citation for hit and run, even if you deserved it. Hit and run is a much more serious offense.
@@jceess You're right. To be fair, though, traffic infractions shouldn't be considered "real crimes" since there's not an actual person who has been victimized. Someone who hits and runs has victimized the owner of the car that was hit and the people in it. They have caused damage and attempted to evade their responsibility they have to make those people whole again.
However, the victim of running a red light is the red light, or more generally the jurisdiction that has the law against running red lights. Ask yourself who the victim is when someone runs a red light and the only other person within miles is the cop who pulled out of a parking lot a half block away to stop the red light runner and issue them a ticket.
@@OptimiSkeptic I've almost been t-boned by red light runners far more often than I can remember. All red light runners should have to spend two days in jail. Mandatory.
That one guy is correct! If you're going 70 in a 60 in the left lane, and cars are behind you MOVE THE FUCK OVER!! You're not the law, and someone maybe in a emergency and need to pass you!! LEARN THE LAW! LEFT LANE IS PASSING LANE!!
something about getting a dash cam makes people so eager to crash and prove their right.
I don’t understand this mentality. I’d like to get a dash cam someday when I can afford it but that isn’t going to change my thinking on getting into accidents. I hope dash cams are different… I used my phone one time on my way to the family reunion and unless I zoomed way in (then the focus got wonky) it looks like you are sooo much farther away from the next vehicle than you really are. I realize everybody’s reaction time is different but just letting off the gas would have saved some of these people, what I consider, a big headache (and chronic neck problems).
3:51 The cammer brightlights the modestly offending lane changer, catches up to him, brightlights him again and then creates his own tub of shit. You are delusional if you think it was anyone's fault but your own.
"You brake checked me, BRO:" The guy should be at fault for saying "BRO" about 30 times a minute.

8:50 that's the best advice you should follow when dealing with such kinds of drivers: "get away from him".
Many of the cammers here don't even try to avoid a collision.
Not sure about the laws in the US, but here in Germany, you have to do your best (without endangering yourself and others) to avoid accidents, otherwise you will be partially blamed for the accident.
Not saying that some of those idiots don't deserve what they got, but all the hussle around the accident. Is it really worth it? And sometimes two idiots are involved, one in front, one on the back of the camera.
#10 does five things wrong while complaining about the other guy who did three things wrong 😂
The other driver admitted to brake checking the cammer intentionally.
That’s not helpful to the Civic’s case. Whereas he would have a sting argument had he kept his mouth shut given they were approaching a red light.
#20 Stop camping in the left lane and watch your “hate ‘em with a passion” tailgaters disappear.
Given there are left turns, rules don't apply so...
@@RealRowdyBob Rules may not apply, but laws do. Even if there are left turns on a highway or interstate, you don’t need to ride in that lane miles before your turn.
@@broberts2043 You're right..laws do apply...called reckless driving laws.
@@broberts2043 There are no left turns on interstates in Virginia, only on highways. Highways in Virginia also feature stop lights and businesses, unlike interstates (excluding I-264 that actually has 2 stop lights and a gas station) Also, according to laws....they weren't on the interstate so it was perfectly legal for the cammer to "camp" in the left lane.

It doesn't matter how fast you're going. If the right lane is empty, then use it instead of blocking the left one. Or move to the UK.

If you don't tailgate you've got far less chance of being brake checked, some cammers should try it out.
