Lovely been making these there fun been using metallics different designs. I rotate the tiles as there made there easy to pick up. That way I'm not trying to move around and yes less paint is better. Sept babies Yes indeed haha not telling my age older than you forsure 😊 ❤️ my oldest granddaughter will graduate soon then I have a 1yr old granddaughter youngest 5 total
Do you still like/use self-adhesive cork for the bottoms of your coasters? If not, what else would you suggest. I worry about the cork getting wet when the drink sweats and water drips on the cork.

Thanks Carroll - if your coloured paints are sinking then your white is too thick. Make sure you are mixing your white with the same ratios as your colours
if you dont mind me asking, how much do you charge for your coasters at the art show? Also do you find that the art resin is durable enough? It does not stick to hot mugs?

I think maybe your turning 33.You look much younger then that though. Love the new blue coasters too. I just have a one question for you.. Do you ever find yourself regretting scraping off the paint once you've decided that you didn't like it? I only ask because I have found myself regretting it sometimes. I'm like darn now why did I go and do that.
Yes - I regretted it once (on video #97) I wish I hadn't have done that. Otherwise I am good with my scraping choices lol I have learned though to sit back and look at it half our later or so... and if I still don't like it, then scrape (unless I am recording a video - then I can't wait 30 min) hahahah here's some advice... take a picture of your piece... if you end up scraping it after - you can go back and look at it a day or so later... that will help you determine if you did the right thing or if you screwed up LOL
Would you consider using the browns you did in video 10? I know I like a lot of neutrals and it makes for an easy gift for those you’re not sure what their fav colors are. Plus I just loved how that pour turned out! 😍

I made some rookie errors and both will need a second coat but I think that will save them. Then I can bite the bullet and cover my best pour. Do you have different ratios for Dutch pours, dirty pours, ring pours etc? If so do you label your bottles?
i mainly only do dutch pours and sometimes ring pours. I use the same consistency for both. I dont ever do dirty pours or flips cups etc

i seal them with Resin - and yes, you can put a hot coffee mug on it..
Juno is always jealous

thanks so much - i resin my coasters. I varnish my canvases with liquitex high gloss varnish

What material did you use for that coaster? Ceramic tiles? And after dry what do you use for seal?
yes they are ceramic tiles and when they are dry i add a top coat or resin to seal them

First of all, I love your pores. I started recently and I’ve learned a lot from you and Rinske. My question is, does it matter the color order in which you pour? You May have answered this in another video, I haven’t watch them all (nor have I read all the comments). Particularly the contrast color. Does it matter? Thank you
you want to try to keep colours that would potentially turn to mud separate. Otherwise it's fine
