I'm an experimental contemporary artist from Slovenia.
I like to experiment with different fluid art techniques and materials and follow the natural paint flow with all its unpredictability.
The biggest inspiration for my art is Nature, so I try to pour those colour combinations energy and beauty on canvas.
In my early ages I painted with a brushes and chalks, but I always felt limited in those art forms. But all that changed in the year 2018, when I discovered Fluid art. I was able to let my imagination run wild and pour it out on the canvas. I have finally found my place in art that perfects and makes me happy. And what could be nicer than sharing this with others through my artwork. Because of this, I also decided to share my artistic path on youtube, where I am happy to share my passion and knowledge with more than a quarter of a million people from all over the world.

I made some of your forest coasters a few years ago during the early Covid days & then we moved house & everything got into a muddle in the move & my notes are still buried SOMEWHERE 😂! Hi Fiona, What is your ratio when you do the coasters & how long do you wait until you varnish them? Also, how long after you varnish do you torch them? They are beautiful!!!

Beautiful. What are the coasters made of? And do you put a treatment on the finish product.?
Thank you. Coasters are MDF board and I put a coat of resin on top. 😉

Hey , what about the back of the coasters ? How did you clean it ? I bet it would have been messy with colors all over while doing it .
Fiona, how long do you let the paint cure/dry before applying the resin? I have a box of brand new ceramic tiles and want to make Christmas gift coasters. Very excited to do these. ❤️

It doesn’t work on canvas 🥺 Just on mdf coasters or tiles. 😉

I’ve been using ceramic tiles for my coasters. Where do you get those wood squares at?
I get them from local wood worker.

Can you seal the tiles with polyurethane?
Yes, but they will not be heat resistent.
