Best 2 weeks ever , loved that bike, there again March CB650r on my list. Oh an lady 3.29 attitude mannn, i think as in a few non appropriate Mastery of the language. Gr8 Vlog as per 👍👍⚒⚒⚒⚒
Great video. I didn't know much about the bike rentals. Keep the vids coming. Enjoying the trips to the dealership. Next request is for a longer ride through the countryside or some type of road trip. I am enjoying the channel.👍
There's a guy just south, between the Hilton hotel and the 7-11. I rented a CB 650R for 1000 a day and 5,000 deposit rather than hold my passport. I prefer big bikes for the extra power to get out of a possible bad situation 👍
Haven't been to Thailand since 1969-1971 Take a ride down to the Sattihip area used to be an army base there and an air base. Used to go to Newland kilo sip for our drinking. Please video the area if you get a chance to go there.
Hi Great video you said there was a Yamaha Tricity i think it was a 125 cc and i think thay have a 150 or a 155 cc . But have you ever seen the Tricity 300 ?
That’s a bit expensive for bike rentals,, I found a lady in Soi 7 off beach road, that will rent for 120 Baht a day , Honda click , Yamaha wave , 200 a day Honda PCX , Most were fairly New ⁉️🤔👍👍👍✅
Soi 7 Pattaya, there was an older lady near shooters bar , that would rent a click 125 for 120 Baht a day or a Pcx 150 for 200 Baht a day ✅🏍⁉️⁉️🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭👍
Lucas, I’ve been warned by expats when I got to pattaya that my US drivers licenses + international drivers license from AAA + US passport were not sufficient to legally drive a motorbike. I would need at least a temp Thai motorbike license. Is this true?
This might be a dumb question, but how do you know where you can park the bikes when you're riding around town? When I was in Pattaya I didn't really pay attention to it but since I'm considering renting a bike on my next trip, just wondering how you know where you can and can't park it? Or do you just stick where all the other bikes are when you're on the public streets?
Another goody. Do they have damage forms to fill out prior to leaving the rental establishment? Or maybe you advise to take pictures of damage so you are not faced with a fake repair bill upon return. P.S. If you haven't already maybe you can do a video on the 54 story zipline attraction in Pattaya. Every time I visit I go by but I chicken out . Later.
What scooter did you buy? ...I've been thinking about either the Honda PCX or the newer fully disk/ABS ADV150... Do you have a feel for a monthly rate for this class - something to tool about on for a month or so prior to a purchase? Thank you!
@@tjmctube All of the aforementioned but NEVER leave your passport behind and always photograph all around the car so you don't get charged for scratches or dents you didn't make, when you return it. My tip is the Toyota vios, cheap, with plenty of power and handles well.
Rent a scooter that's an automatic. So much easier to ride in Thailand traffic and down narrow soi streets. I usually go through my hotel to rent a scooter. It's an easy way to avoid scammers and being ripped off. And don't rent jet skis.
With regards the international driving licence, there is no such thing it is an international driving permit and must be issued from the country that issued your driving licence and must be presented together, there are three different permits for different countries you visit, they are not valid on their own and they are in the language o the issuing country not Thai, they could not fit all the languages in for the country that each different permit is valid for but use a common layout so the authorities in each country of validity knows what is what on the form. With regards to the red number plate, no problem it is just a plate issued to the bike or car that is new and waiting it's proper plate to be issued so you can take the vehicle away to use on purchase. In my country you would not be allowed to take the new vehicle until the plate is issued, so one up to the Thai government.
It is actually called International driving license. But it is not valid alone, need to show it with the regular driving license as well. It is mostly a translation of your regular driving license into many languages
Hello Graham. I totally understand what you mean. But looking at my peace of paper right now it clearly says International Driving License on top. But it is not valid unless you show the regular license as well. Thailand only accept the 1 year international license.
@@sbuddz There are several videos on you tube and everyone I have watched shows International Driving Permit that you get on screen and if you put into Google International Driving Licence The links all come up International Driving Permit. I do see that now it includes languages that mine never did over 40 years ago. Use without Permit in Europe.
With all your respect Graham, I am looking at my International Driving License right now. And it clearly says International Driving License. Maybe says otherwise if issued in another country than mine, I wouldn't know
Great useful info as usual, keep up the unique channel, you’ll soon be #1!!!

the little food spot opened in Sept. ...went there one time and my portion was even smaller than yours....never went back
Good one thanks ... I wouldn't rent a bike though, if I'm drinking every day for 2 or 4 weeks ... temptation removed

Can you rent and drive a bike without an international driver’s license?
Do they rent 3 wheelers bikes there? Thanks
Never ever give up your passport.

That should be enough I doubt needing a thai temp licence. I'm from the UK and I just had international plus UK one and I had no problems.

I bought an Aerox 155 back then, still have it, no problems, over 8k on the clock now. The midsize scooters will run 4-5K for a month rental usually.
