My journey in Mongolia brings me to Arkhangai province, slightly west of the country’s center, after an 8-hour road trip from Ulaanbaatar. Here, I'll be renting a 150cc manual motorbike for an off-road adventure through remote Mongolia, one of my ultimate travel dreams. There’s a unique freedom in motorbiking that fuels my love for the open road and the thrill of discovery.

ABOUT ME:
In 2013, I started my solo travel journey, leaving Indonesia in 2016 to become a full-time traveller and UA-cam creator. My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries. My content focuses on exploring different cultures through the lens of a solo female traveller, aiming to capture real-life interactions and experiences.
My travels kicked off with a five-month trip across Asia, after which I moved to China in January 2017 to work as an English teacher-my first time living abroad. I left China in 2018 to fully commit to creating videos on UA-cam, where I share my travels and the cultures I encounter.
Living nomadically since 2016, I settled in England in early 2022 after marrying my British husband, David. Now based in the UK, I continue to travel and share my adventures on UA-cam.

Thank you so much for watching today's video! An off-road adventure through remote Mongolia is one of my ultimate travel dreams. There’s a unique freedom in motorbiking that fuels my love for the open road. What do you think of this video? Let me know by writing your comments below!
You should actually make a guest appearance on Zero To Travel podcast sometime next year Syifa. You really do have interesting travel stories.
😮😮😮
@SyifaAdriana come to Leh Ladakh India
@@FlamingBasketballClub I remember you mentioned that but I have not been able to find the time to do that 😂
Dear Syifa.
I was hospitalized this week for surgery and watching your Mongolia series brought me so much joy and enthusiasm to recover quickly and be able to explore the world again. I hope Spring next year i will be somewhere else. Once again beautiful new series. I cant wait to see more from you ❤ I wish you a good luck, stay safe, healthy and happy ❤
Aw Sonya, best wishes for your surgery and I hope it went well. Thanks so much for watching and I am glad to hear that these videos have brought a lot of joy!
❤❤❤
Syifa, your journey is nothing short of extraordinary! Your command of English is impeccable, and your narration weaves such a vivid and captivating story that it feels like we're right there with you. Your travel vlogs are not only visually stunning but also incredibly enriching and educational. I truly admire your work and wish you continued success in all your adventures!
Thank you so much! That’s so very kind of you. That is my main objective of each video, hopefully you feel as if you are right there traveling with me!
I still cant get over how sometimes, we were riding, and those bikes just rolled over the country side with such perfection and ease. A perfect fluid state. I felt like I was in the Film On Any Sunday, Mongolia addition.
Hahaha yeah right?! Honestly there were so many dodgy moments but we were lucky with our bike. People think that the bigger bike is better but in Mongolia it's so unnecessary so I disagree with them! Thanks a lot Ray
Thanks. God bless you. My fatherlanf Arkhangai province.
My favorite English teacher Love Mongolia
Hi Syifa, glad to see you back on a motorbike! :D The landscape is stunning!
Thanks for the tip about the International Drivers Assoc. I mean to get an int. license, both for car and motorbike, so your tip comes just at the right time! Looking forward to the second part - I hope we won't have to see you 'go swimming'... ;-)
Stunning indeed, Diz! There will only be 1 more riding video from Mongolia and the rest of two videos would be about the nomadic people ion the country. LOL, it wouldve been fun if I ended up swimming! 😂😂 No problem, I think an IDP is so useful so I was happy to collaborate with IDA. Hope you can benefit from the 10% offer they have :-D
Their camels are gorgeous and calm
Kedves Syifa! Csodás videó volt, gyönyörű helyeken jártatok! Vigyázz Magadra!
Attila, thank you so much for always watching my videos. Thank you so much again for your lovely comment and support!
@@SyifaAdriana Természetes, hogy nézem, hiszen a videóid csodálatosak, profi munka, bele teszed szived-lelked!❤
It's a pleasure to see you AND excited to get stuff about Mongolia.keep it up gal !
Thank you so much for your kind comment. I appreciate this!
I love Mongolia
Hope you get to visit some time in the future
Thanks.
I was in 2010 in Fair field guest house.
Hi Syifa, you're really cool with the bike. I have been to Mongolia (many years ago) and as a motorcyclist I know that this trip will not be easy. I wish you many nice experiences, take care of yourself, greetings from Hungary, Árpád
Thanks so much, Arpad! I love riding a motorbike and always take the chance whenever possible. Yes the trip wasn't easy and required a lot of skills driving through these terrain. Thanks so much for your kind comment.
@SyifaAdriana Thank you for your reply, I am glad, ÁR314))
@@ArpadRoamerWhen did you to Mongolia and did you manage to ride a motorbike?
@@SyifaAdriana Hello Syifa. I was in Mongólia for three weeks in 1980. I didn't see any motocycles anywhere. On the '1000 track roads' we rode a Soviet jeep (UAZ) , the driver was 80 year old. It was an enjoyable journey. I flew home from Moscow whit the Hungarian Olympic team. I do motorbike tours on the serpentines roads of Austria, Italy, Szlovénia. Motorcyclist greetings, wish you a wide roads, rubber trees, ÁRPÁD. ))
@@ArpadRoamer Wow, 1980?! That sounds fascinating and I wonder if you have seen much change from the video? Best wishes!
Syifa, your travelling videos are interesting.
I will definitely check out your vlogs page, very nice extraordinary posts. ❤
I can't wait to see part 2
Can't wait to show you the next episode!
Wonderful cinematography and outdoor adventureous bike trek.
Thank you so much, Mahesh!
What a beautiful video of your Part 1 motorbike episode. The views is so beautiful in rural Mongolia. I hope you and Ray will have an adventurous motorbike ride. God bless you both from United States. P.S. if you feel like wanting to go on hiking or motorbike adventure, you should definitely come here to United States. On the Pacific side, Atlantic side, or the Middle side. Whichever that you prefer, if you want. Keep going on making and uploading videos Syifa. I can’t wait for Part 2 of your motorbike adventure with Ray.
Thanks a lot, Emanuel. So glad to hear that you enjoy this video! I definitely would love to come to the States one day but I know that Ray has ridden a motorbike there a few years ago. Have a lovely weekend!
Huge hearted Syifa & excellent video, thanks 🙏🏻
Thanks a lot!
Fascinating to see these vast open spaces with you, and at least that bloke on the E-scooter hasn't made it there yet.....
Hahaha David, your comment made me chuckle. It took me some time to understand which E-scooter you referred to. Glad to know that you enjoyed watching this!
I am with your heart ❤❤❤❤❤
Spontaneous adventure, nice!
Indeed, thanks so much!
It's been a long time since my last comment, but still enjoy watching your videos. Great to see you have fun on that motorbike. Be careful though. Our son is in the process of getting his motorbike license and it still scare the hell out of me 😬
Hiya Marc! How life has been on your end? Would love to have you back on the comment section again. Haha I know what you mean as riding can be quite scary and detrimental to anyone who's riding it shall any accident occurs. It's just that the freedom you get from riding is immense!
@@SyifaAdriana Hi Syifa, all well over here. Two changes of jobs in 2 years time (second one going back to my previous employer), so a bit hectic as well. Yeah, fully understand people who drive a motorbike. I try to achieve the same sort of (sense of) freedom by driving our convertible. Not quite the same, I'm sure, but good enough (and you can close the roof when it rains 😄). Anyways, keep safe and enjoy your travels. I least I do when watching 👍 Oh, and as a side note: I'm amazed by the quality of video shooting and editing, so totally not surprised to witnessing the growth of your channel as it did and probably will continue to do. Keep going, keep strong!
Bener2 salut banget dengan Syifa berani berkelana dg motor seperti ini di medan yg sangat menantang, padahal dr penampilannya feminim hehe
Thanks for watching this video.
You rock girl 🎉
We are more than proud of you! This ride must have been frenzy yet adrenalinic. I would also be like you if I 'd to cross that river stretching over on a motorbike. I'm glad that you've an adrenalin riding companion with you.
The sky stretching as you rode past was insanely gorgeous. It is as if you got catapulted onto another orbit. Keep up❤ You got this one 💪 👏 ❤
Thank you so much, Elisabetta! What a gorgeous combination of supportive and appreciative comment from you. Episode 2 is now out and I’ll see you there in the comment section 😊
Me imagino la sensación de libertad que se debe sentir conducir en esos terrenos tan abiertos y desolados, en pleno contacto con la naturaleza. Saludos desde Santa Fe, Argentina
YES YES AND YES! You get it, Oscar. Nothing beats that feeling!
Greetings from Serbia👍👍👍❤❤❤
Fantastic journey Mbak Syifa , please release part 2 soon, I cant wait it
❤From Jakarta
Thank you so much! Can't wait to show you the next episode!
Dear Syifa, take care of yourself - but enjoy every wonderful moment of your trip! As a beginner motorcyclist, crossing a body of water is a big challenge! I hope you managed to overcome your fear and successfully crossed to the other side! I am really looking forward to the next episode. Greetings from Hungary, Csaba
Thanks so much for your comment. I grew up riding a motorbike and have done it a few times in several other countries, but never off-road. You are ride that crossing this river was absolutely a big challenge. Loved reading your comment and thank you so much for watching.

Love reading your comment! Thank you so much for your encouraging perspective and I agree that courage is half of life, the other half would be curiosity for me. Best wishes!

Love From Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤️🇲🇪
Thank you!!
Hey sofi 👋 I'm here after a long time. I hope you are doing great ❤
I dont know who Sofi is?!
OMG Syifa, I'd be already too nervous about all that could happen on such a trip anyway, but the river crossing at the end tops it all... I would be scared as well... curious if your Canadian friend will drive your bike across, or whether he will push you through?! The fact that there's a part 2 coming, feels assuring that you'll actually survive this!! 😂🏍💖
Jorn, haha I know what you mean! It's such an anxiety inducing even watching this video for me, and the adrenaline I got from actually experiencing riding when in Mongolia. You just have to watch the next video to find out what happened to us 😂
Waoo amazing tour Mongolia
Thank you!
You are very brave girl
Thank you so much!

@SyifaAdriana always welcome dear ♥️🥰
I want to know their toilet when I watch Mongolian nomad'tent life. 😊😅😂
In your perfect video, I know it clearly. 😂😅😊
Thank you.
You are very smart. You can do riding motorbike very bravely. 😮
Hahaha thanks a lot. The toilet that was shown on this video was more modern as you enter more remote area and live with the nomad family, it would be even more minimal and exposed.
Cảm ơn bạn đã chia sẻ những hình ảnh về Mông Cổ , chúc sức khỏe bạn nhé !!

Hi Qasim, I am good thanks and hope you enjoyed watching the video.
@SyifaAdriana yes, off course
recently , many solo travelers going to mongolian wasteland guys u all have to be careful from the leopard, wolf and bear and venomous snakes so remember never go to the wild solo cuz it may happen horrible crime or something like that and my country isnt enough to being safe place to travel solo
Vvvv nice country and vvv nice video babe
You enjoy driving motorcycles in Mongolia landscape safe drive
Thank you, Jawan!
Hello good morning Syifa how are you and your husband? I'm not sure if you're in London right now. It's probably cold 🥶. I'm in the USA it's also cold. Anyway have a wonderful day, you and your husband ❤
Hi Maryann! Thanks so much for your comment. We are well thank you and yes it's getting colder in England. We have had a few days of snow and frosty morning. Thanks so much for watching!
What an amazing lady you are!!I just watched a stretch in my comfort zone in my home .Do you know Eli from Russia ?only two travel channels I have subscribed to both of you ..Eli explored northern Russia
Anyway good luck...Keep safe..❤ from India
Thank you so much. Yes I also admire Eli's work and her ability to bring stories to life from remote parts of Russia. Thank you!
Incredibly scenic mountain views of Mongolia. This country really is sparsely populated.
😭😭😭
Indeed Mongolia is so sparsely populated. In fact it is the most sparsely populated country in the world. I think these views are so jaw-dropping!
mantab mbak Syifa sehat selalu
Thanks so much for watching!
Hey......may be I missed it, what month/ date did u travel? Could not find the town you mentioned - is that in the North West? Altai region? Ths!
@@volkerpschmidt Hi! I travelled to Mongolia in October 2024. I travelled to Arkhangai province in Central province, stayed at Fairfield guesthouse in Tsetserleg. Turning on subtitles may help as some of these Mongolian places are hard to pronounce 😅
Thks Syifa, saw you had a blast there! Am surprised how good the weather was in Oct....
Too jealous now, so organizing my trip for this May, to Altai region.
Wish you safe travels and continue with your great YT- content!
C U on the road! ❤
@ Best wishes and safe travels! We only had a good 3-day weather before it turned for the worse so definitely had to make the most out of it. I adore autumn season in general so loved my experience during quieter months. Altai sounds incredible and is both accessible through Kazakhstan too, which I would recommend visiting as well.
Hey.....
Yes looked at your Kazakh YT earlier, and it looked real nice too - but, 1 adventure at a time. Can U actually rent a bike there?
Love travelling by bike, the close contact to nature and it's people, the honesty and warmth of most cultures and their people. It always proves to me that we are all "one" and the same, despite our different approaches to life.
Will dip my toe into the Kazakh world in the Altai region (Mongolia) for now, and look out for the next bike ride thereafter. (Probably more your former neck of the woods, aka Sabah/Sarawak)
Jumpa lagi!
What camera you use while riding motorbike?
Indian timing is 10:40 pm
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks a lot@
It has been almost 15 years since i rid motorbike last time ,nowadays i always ride my EV scooter for commuting.
You should get back on a proper bike and ride for an adventure!
Great video i have been twice to Mongolia i hope for a third visit !
Can you please share the contact for motorbike rental ?
Dear Syifa … Come to Leh Ladakh India
Thank you, perhaps some time in the future!

You're now competing with Itchi Boots....👍
Hahaha I dont think so! Noraly is a full time motorcyclist and has got a much more advanced skills that I do 😂She has got another level of creating so many content over the years.
@@SyifaAdriana You should give yourself a bit more credit! The only thing in which Noraly outdoes you is in breaking mirrors. 😂 So if you beat her at that in part 2 you will be the unchallenged champion! 💪🤣
👍👍🇳🇪🇳🇪♥️♥️ Karva South Indian
Helloo Hi...❤😊
mongol❤
I thought that would've been a Gazprom station. Not an US franchise.
Interesting, I didnt know what that petrol station is an US franchise. What is it called?
@@SyifaAdriana Texaco (Texas Oil Co) !
150 cc is light so not likely to get stuck on mud.
U meant 150 cc can go No it is not possible. The heavier the bike the better it goes.
Agreed, that is basically what all Mongolian ride in the countryside.
@@YatoKonyak-t1h A heavier bike isnt always the best scenario for this. 150-200CC is what all Mongolian ride in the countryside.
But I am sure you will make it
You have to watch the next episode to find out 😂
Yes I have already watched the other episode also and I loved it😊.... hopefully you'll comeback and explore the unexplore places of Arunachal Pradesh asap...
Hi Syifa, Good evening and how are you!!!....I am C S Chouhan from India

Don't go! You do not have enough experience for that water crossing. If you do go I will sent you a huge bath towel.
Hahaha you never know until you try!
@@SyifaAdriana You already know if you went or not.. Should I send the towel?
How is it possible no thief no robbery
They deal with mostly extreme harsh weather than thief. People work with and look out for each other to be able to live a peaceful life in Mongolia.
