Buzzcocks and The Fall provided the soundtrack of my youth.This song for myself speaks to the insecurities i had as a teenager with relationships. Thanks for your reaction, always a pleasure.
I remember hearing this record when i stopped off at a friends house on the way back from school. Janet's brother was always buying new records from new bands and we used to sneak a listen to his record collection before he got in from work and this song was one of the records that he had just bought. Nice to hear the record again after all these year......thanks for the play.
Oh and I dont know if youve ever listened to it but check out The Tubes ' White punks on dope ' Audio version ..its a blinder of a track and a little heads up...take notice of the drumming in it....superb IMHO 👍
Another music in a different kitchen is a superb album. As previously mentioned I met Steve diggle in a pub in muswell hill and bought him a pint as thanks for making my youth musically wonderful 👍. Theres a track on the album ' love bites' called Nothing left that is worth a listen if you get the chance. Saw the Buzzcocks live a few times 😁
I remember The Buzzcocks bringing out a series of great snappy singles 77-79 and their albums were good too. They are like XTC in that they were never appreciated fully until years later and they both should've sold far more records at the time.
Lol.. whenever I hear this song it just reminds me of a movie that was popular with the video market back in the 80s " The Party Animal" it had a brillliant soundtrack with a lot of buzzcocks and was hilarious
