- In this video we're listening to Buzzcocks. We figured it was about time we got back to this band. We really enjoyed our previous experience with them, and it's time we heard some more from them. Let's get into it. Enjoy!

Wonderful track by the mighty Buzzcocks ❤️
This was an anthem in the 80s 90s at chillout parties after a rave..
Superb song ❤
Greatest album almost perfect album great live performance and lots great music
Pete and the boys getting all existential on us.
Musical GOLD ❤
My Scottish pal on here questioned my citing Buzzcocks as one of the best ever bands on here last year. Well this magnificent song is just a B side of their single Everybody’s Happy Nowadays! It’s better than most bands A sides! I rest my case! 🙂
As for the meaning of the lyrics as you found out it isn’t as silly or suggestive as we all assume it is going to be. My hunch it’s about something that is really exciting but intangible like punk music or whatever. But who knows?
I had all their albums in the 70's and I saw them live when they came to Australia in 1989. This song reminds me of John Cale's Barracuda.
Thank you for doing this, I always appreciate you doing one of my suggestions. Buzzcocks were a great band, one of the more interesting bands from the Punk Rock movement.
One of the finest Manchester bands ! This is a brilliant track as they morphed into one of the first postpunk bands. Nice dueling guitars. Took out a young band named Joy Division ➗️ on a 1979 tour. What a great bill that was. The Buzzcocks last ever single " Are Everything " was recorded & mixed while all involved were on LSD .. 24 Hour Party People !
Cabaret Voltaire , remember them?🏴✌️
@JamesDickson-vs5of Yes , Sensoria was my favourite track & video. Sad that the singer Richard H Kirk died a few years back.
This whole album takes me back to a time of freedom fun and sometimes scary scary stuff. it gets wet stuff slipping out of my eyes when i hear these songs I'm not sure what it is? It can't be tears because BOY'S DON'T CRY 😢😭
Love The Buzzcocks ! .. Happy to hear you react to anything by them .. Their "Singles Going Steady" album is a MUST listen to, containing 8 early singles ( A and B sides ) .. This was one of the 8 B sides .. I like it, although I feel it would have been even better to keep it short and sweet rather than essentially repeating the same structure for nearly 7 minutes.
THANK YOU
I have loved the BCs for decades. They wrote great pop tunes, but I have to say I missed the beauty of this song at the time, and now I can't stop playing it. It's More Rock than Punk. Pete Shelley was great at the double entendre.
One of their more unusual tracks but still great 👍
Jay gets in there 😅
👍🏴
Yr fast off the Mark today.
@@SPKdesign1 aye - I can smell a Buzzcocks track in the ether
👍🏴
If you think that this song's title was suggestive, another Canadian channel recently reacted to a Buzzcocks track called 'Orgasm Addict'!
Which is also a great song.
Found me old ticket for this mob in Portsmouth - 78 - £1.50! Awsome gig.... this track goes on a bit for me....I hate fast cars!!!!
Forgot how good that song was.
I love you guys doing Buzzcocks! Please do Harmony in my Head if you haven't already.
We have done that one
@@hanierfamily Found it!
I didn’t ask for this 🤣- I can’t even remember it Chris 🤷♂️
👍🏴
Maybe you agreed with someone suggesting it.
@@SPKdesign1 nope - I wouldn’t have remembered this track at all , it wasn’t one of my favs
👍🏴
Must be the dementia 😂😂😂🏴☠️🏴🇬🇧@@jaymacgee_A_Bawbag_Blethering
Don't lie. 😂
@@snuffcore9686 He's been Sleep Typing
I'm a big fan of the song Do Anything by Pete Shelly (who was in Buzzcocks). You should react to that one!
Love the Buzzcocks, one of the few bands that got me dancing although not to this! I do like it very much, it's just different to their usual sound. 'Ever fallen in love' is up there with 'teenage kicks' as an era defining song. Cheers
Every punk band needs a song where the crowd can catch their breath, go take a squirt, grab a drink, or whatever.
" Puuurrr" , nowt about it not to like " our kid" 🏴 happy healthy peace ✌️
Steve Diggle on Bass 🔊 !
Are you sure David ? Everything I know and have seen says it’s Steve Garvey on bass 😮
👍🏴
@@jaymacgee_A_Bawbag_Blethering Oops 😬 Diggle on guitar 🎸 😬 ! I'm old 👴
@@davidellis5141 😝😝😝 but your honest and that goes a long way David , we’ve all been there mate - respect ✊
👍🏴
Although now it’s playing of course it all comes back to me now , you cannot go wrong with Buzzcocks , though this def isn’t one of their better efforts imho - Pete really struggles with this vocal and that’s not typical of him . Have you done Lipstick or Sixteen again ? I’m DEF asking for THESE ones 😅
👍🏴
Any Buzzcocks.
We have a video for Lipstick. We'll list the other. Actually it was already there.

@@hanierfamily Check oot Bill Nelson's Red Noise. Maybe "For The Young Moders" or "Furniture Music".

It's not my birthday yet what's going on this is a great day
First heard them in '77 '78 in Melbourne, bought their records along with Undertones , Wire, etc. Sold those albums to support a drug habit, never bought them back.. Forty four years since hearing this, can't say I'm particularly moved
Considering that it's The Buzzcocks, this song is weak. Not one to be proud of.
You were expecting something heavier? 😂 They're not NYxHC.
@@snuffcore9686 No, I was expecting quality.
@@Starburst_Candy Meh. One's opinion about music is completely subjective. Now, this is usually the point where I would make a snarky comment about your lack of taste and poor judgement, but like like Sam Jackson in Pulp Fiction I'm trying to be more like the shepherd, so I'll just wish you a good weekend.
@@snuffcore9686 Who are you to tell me what is good and what is not? That's an incredibly arrogant position, and what makes you so omnipotent anyway?
@@Starburst_Candy Lighten up. That last sentence is a joke. I thought that was obvious, and I apologize if it wasn't. The rest of what I wrote...what part of music is suubjective isnt objectively true?
This isn't great. They consistently produced good music, but this one must have been a filler.
It was a B-Side
It's just different that's all .
To each his own. I would disagree.
Great song ❤
