It’s shooting floor and roof are just so open and ehh, full of easy peaks, overall mobility is so good, quality of life is so good, bunker peaks are so nice, and the bedrooms are so stable, and pretty broken compound turret positions... gosh. The only downside I can see is the small open core storage for a 16 man group.
Couldn’t agree more on storage. We had to get creative to get loot stored. But end of the day having that many respawns in one base won the defense fornus

I recommend when building the walls, before you put the metal barricades on the roof of the outer airlock you place twig half walls at the back, so you can make sure you can build them later into the turret holes. I put the metal barricades a little to far back and now have to destroy them all!! lesson learned
was a big fan of the inner peeks of the v1 but wasnt a massive fan of the roof peeks, basic shooting floor and lack of accessibility to the open core, love to see the v2 improves on all of these. great base, will be taking much inspiration for all my 4x4 designs to come!
i got merg raided on Helix rust by 3 groups over 20 people using the V1. and they used over 500 rockets on the base and the roof didn't fall lol this base is very strong.. good stuff man

Instead of building the inner shell peaks used in this build, could i replace it with the ramp peaks from the v1 imperium? These are nice but the ramp peeks were a nice touch.

Problem with ramp peaks is that you cant rocket through them but you can get rocketed from under them
