I love your videos but this aint stovies, this is cornbeef hash. Glasgow do very different stovies (my wife is from Angus and she also makes this mistake lol)
Note that the corned beef is optional as my son doesn’t like it, so he probably has the more authentic experience. You can adapt the recipe to how you like, but the premise is the same. Thanks for watching. You can join the FB group for the recipe card and tweak the recipe as you wish.
No no this is not a true Scottish recipe! You only need left over beef. Onions well fried. Browning loads o tatties and beef fat very small amount and left on hob without touching for an hr or 2 depending how much you make. Oatcakes and or beetroot and milk . That’s true buchan stovies
This looks delicious! I grew up never knowing my Scottish relatives, but your kitchen feels like the perfect place to start.
Looks perfectly prepared, my friend 😍👍‼️ This flavourful dish looks so mouthwatering 🤤🤤👌‼️
It is. I hope you get to make it. Thanks for watching.

Oh, my goodness. EZ PZ. This makes me hungry! Thank you.
Hope you enjoy making it. It’s a good one and very hearty.
Haven't had stovies since I lived in Aberdeen in the late seventies! I'm in NZ nowadays, so a good trip down memory lane! Thanks. :)
I hope you get to relive it by making it. The full recipe is available on my Facebook community. Thanks for watching.
