if the lasik is done in eyes prior to the medical test can it be detcted by any of the method used in medical of upsc for ESE.
We have to say LASIK and SMILE can be detected in Medical Exam.

They practically leave no scar in the eye so it’s very difficult to detect them during routine eye check-ups.

Sir, Is prk and contoura vision are same or different. Is PRK detectable
No, both surgeries are totally different.
CONTOURA VISION & EPI-CONTOURA (for thin cornea) are the best surgical options for those who want to get through the Medical Exams of various Indian Govt Services.
PRK is also not detectable.

You need to confirm this from AF Authority, however Laser surgeries like Contoura Vision & Epi-Contoura are very advanced surgeries and are the most preferred options for medical exams.
They practically leave no scar in the eye so it's very difficult to detect them during routine eye check-ups.

@@sheetalpal5529 Aap jis govt service me jana chahte hain, uske medical me kya eye vision ki requirement hai, ye aapko khud se research karna hoga.
Aapko ye bhi khud he pta lagana chaeye, ki unke medical me koi laser vision correction surgery allowed hai ya nahi.
Aur agar allowed nahi bhi hai toh aap Epi-Contoura/Contoura vision surgery kara sakte ho.
Medical exam se atleast 1 ya 2 mahine pehle toh iske detect hone ke chances kum hote hain.

If your specs power has been stable for more than a year at the time of surgery, the chances of increasing the power, will be extremely thin.
There will not be a flap-related issue after complete healing.
