*WCH 2nd Gen M-Bell* BNSF Mixed Freight Train - Clark Street, Spearville, Kansas

- After catching the local in Kinsley, I continued west. To my dismay, I found that every M-Bell between Kinsley and Spearville had gotten replaced by a GS E-Bell. These were recent replacements too, occurring between mid 2022 and early 2024. Luckily, both crossings in Spearville retained M-Bells. I decided to film Clark Street first since there was heavy machinery operating at the main crossing. About 2 hours after I arrived, H-KCKDEN came rolling through. I would return to the main crossing later to catch Amtrak after all the businesses were closed.
Practically everything at this crossing is original. Mid to late 1990s Safetran gates, lights, plus a WCH 2nd Gen M-Bell can be found protecting this crossing. The gate lights are incandescent, which is a bonus!

Awesome video congratulations on 4k subscribers.
Awesome bell! There is still 4 left on the UP Laredo Sub.
Great video and crossing!
That's a very great video of Spearsville, Kansas. Epic fail on this crossings. BNSF needs to fix or replaced or both of those crossing lights. Plus you're welcome for the 4k viewers
The lights are fine.
@freebrickproductions I thinking the lights are fine at night
@@nicoleasyowell1070 Remember: Incandescent crossing lights only have about 30° (IIRC) of spread from the bulbs. Outside of that spread, the lights will appear to be dimmer.
It's entirely possible that UPking's camera was just simply outside of that spread, especially given how close it is to the ground.
