Thanks for the encouragement. I do plan to do more. Next is a fuel system and brake system. Rust repair will need done at some point as well. As I work on it you folks will see it.
I'm working on a '68 500 fastback as of right now, switching trans, C4 to C6 anyway, but im always on the look for another network to finish this beaut up to "almost" original, anything like a fellow for work advice or anything really, just looking to do it right
I just got a 68 galaxie that I'm trying to fix up...Going in pretty blind. This might be a dumb question but how were you cranking the engine from the solenoid? Did you just leave the keys in the ignition? + my cat's name is Sid too 😂
@Jhexx08 No, I ran power from the battery straight to the positive side of the coil. Then just jumped the solenoid with a screw driver. That way if I need to kill the engine I can do it from under the hood.

Came here from your facebook shorts brother!
@@TailgateGarage nice, I don't upload very often on here or Facebook. Tiktok gets all the attention because that's where I make money.

i noticed you didn’t connect the fuel line to carb from fuel pump
This is a part two?
No this is part one. There is a second video
Still have it?
Yup, I have everything for the brakes. Just need to fund the time.
Would you sell it?
I plan on selling it once it is road worthy.
It might make a good parts car?
I don't believe in parts cars. Everything is save-able with enough welding
Timing is too late or completely wrong
How much for that car I will buy it
i think you should replace fuel pump and fuel filter and maybe it will work with fresh fuel too
You never put old gas In carburetor
Sick
Ya kudda just filled the float port

Just hold the starter a bit longer, it’s not quite cooked enough… Geez this is painful to watch
