    I'm glad that my African American brothers and sisters are finding a better life outside of the United States of America. Being that the country of Mexico is below the US, it is easy for African Americans to travel back to the US and visit family and friends. Finally, thank you Ms. Shida for presenting our people in a positive and discussing our daily struggles through life.

    I spent 6 months of 2019 traveling throughout Mexico and lived in all of these cities except for PDC. There really is nothing like Mexico City (especially during Dia de los Muertos) & Merida was truly the hottest place I’ve ever been in my life. I’m back in the states now and really miss the fully “free” feeling I had as a Black American south of the border. Can’t wait to get back to Mexico permanently and I love seeing more and more of us making our way down there. One of the highlights of my trip was being up in Guanajuato during the Festival de Cervantes and some of my Afro-Mexican brothers from the state of Guerrero trying to pull me into their Danza de los Diablos dance because they thought I was part of the squad. So much love! It’s a special place that helped me heal. Viva Mexico!

    Hi Roshida, I live in São Paulo Brazil, another huge city of 22MM people. Internet speeds here are measured in bites and my Speedtest is usually around 250mbps. It’s also fiberoptic. Could it be that internet speeds there are listed in bytes and that’s why the speeds of 29 sound so low? Just wondering, I have always wanted to visit CDMX to compare the mega cities. Glad to here you like it there, the vibe here is inexplicable as well. Tchau!

    The fact that you have not talked too much about Guadalajara in your scores speaks well of that City, since it means that it is the most balanced of all. Neither the most nor the least in the aforementioned aspects. I think you relegated it a lot in your analysis and that makes it more attractive.

    Mexico City's population as of 2020 is reported at 9 million, not 21 million. That number is for all of Mexico as a whole. I had to Google it cause that sounded impossible lol! Otherwise very informative video!

    • @Roshida
      @Roshida  Рік тому +5

      I understand how you got to part of your comment - but it’s not accurate for people who are considering living here. The exact borders of CDMX hold about 9 mill, the greater Mexico City area (which is what I’m talking about in this video and everybody who lives here is referring to when they talk about the city) is over 21 million. The whole country is currently around 129 million.
      This is relevant because a lot of people who move here will live outside the actual city limits, but no one really knows because few people know where the city limits are. In a lot of places you’re in the city on one block and not in the city on the next block. That’s why we talk about the metro area.
      Trust that I did the research before I made the video 💛

    • @arnulfoalvarez1743
      @arnulfoalvarez1743 Рік тому +1
