I love the idea of a above the ground pool! What a wonderful life your giving you children, a total blessing also I love that you’re not pretentious! Keepin it real, that’s why I’m here for you♥️
@@TheLatinaNextDoor what you’re doing is nothing short of a miracle With the Interest rates the inflation of materials and labor! So grateful to see deserving families get ahead! Thanks for all you do for your viewers my sister Latina 🥰
Love the house-build!…Even with all the headaches building your own house is so exciting! We built our own home on 5 acres next to Plum Creek(like Little House on the Prairie)…My dream home!! After 2 years we decided we wanted a pool but the property was full of underground rock and boulders. However, the builder came up with a plan to build upwards in order for an inground pool to be deep enough and safe. It was then backfilled with clay dirt for stability. It is possible to have an inground pool and have it built up. The landscapers made the property slope towards the back so it looks like an infinity pool overlooking the creek. Also…before the drywall went into place inside the house my children and I took black sharpie markers and wrote our favorite Bible scriptures or sayings on each header board of each room. It was our way to bless each room as we entered…just a thought!
You are blessed to be doing this awesome change of life while being young. I live in Miami with an underground pool, but my husband is going to die unable to achieve his dreams of selling the house and moving to a farm, and building a house, just like you are. It’s too late for us, we’re old, and retired, unable to deal with the struggles that you’re dealing with. Enjoy each and every second of your lives, be blessed.
Everything is looking great and I especially love all the hand prints and the adorable baby foot print outside your door. What memories that is going to give you, especially when all your children begin to leave the nest and make their own lives. I can’t wait to see how it all looks after all your hard work is finished and you can all sit back and just relax and take all your hard work in and be so proud of yourselves and just enjoy your your home for the rest of your lives.
Everything is coming together nicely and looking great. I absolutely love the very special touch of handprints and footprint that you added. It's something that's truly priceless. ❤
Nothing wrong with your above ground pool. My 5 kids grew up with it and had lots of fun. Loved the idea of your handprints on the cement. I hope you included your 4 legged supervisor. It’s so cute to see he or she in the videos making sure the job gets done right.😂
Love all you're doing, especially the pool!! Haters gonna hate, but you and your kids will be loving it! Love your little chihuahua. She looks like the supervisor!! Love it!!
I love, love all of the pads! The sidewalk looks great! The handprints & your baby foot print is such a special mark!❤ That is so beautiful! I love that idea! That is truly special!❤
I like the idea of an above ground pool ❤ and these extra changes about the pads for the sidewalk and the carport & the gas tank seems necessary. I love it all. Yami & your hubby have great taste ❤❤❤ can't wait for more B-roll. 😊 Lol
@@TheLatinaNextDoor I had one more question. How many children do you have? I thought you had 3 before the baby. I was wondering when I saw Nelson put his hand prints in the cement, but I only saw 2 kids prints and the baby's foot.🤷🏾♀️
There is absolutely nothing wrong with an above ground pool. I've had 1 in my last 2 homes and loved them. The up keep is so much more inexpensive than an in ground pool and your property taxes won't increase because it's removable. The last home I sold the new owners didn't want a pool so tearing it down was easy and didn't cost a thing to do but time but if an in ground pool would have had to filled in and as you know fill dirt can get expensive. TFS. Have a great week! Take care. Blessings
You beautiful home is coming together so very well. An above ground pool is so totally Cool Beans! Next Spring/Summer build a fab deck, couple of umbrellas and chairs and you guys will be the cool family on the mountain top! Can’t wait to see what happens next.👍🏻💪🏻🥰
Hi Yami and Nelson. I used to think it was strange people didn’t have a propane tank outside. Where I’m from (small town in North Louisiana) we all had those. I can remember all the kids pretending it was our horse 🤦🏻♀️😂! Just an FYI, if you want to incorporate it into your design, you can paint it! I’ve seen them with Murals painted on them! Looking forward to seeing how you decorate the inside of y’all’s home! Love your content ❤
Dang LE May the force be with your Dawgs🖖😂Love the curve on the walkway to the front door! Best part, Grandpa and your daughter playing some b-ball👍💕💕💕

Nelson, I know the feeling. I’m a Big time fan of the Dallas Cowboys! But we just have to hang in there with them, win or lose.
Everything is looking great. It’s all about your priorities unless you have limitless funds. I really agree with where yours are. You are a wonderful family and the love between you and your husband is visible. Nice to get a peek at the little one and see she is thriving. God bless
Very interesting! I appreciate your logical approach to each project. It will all pay off in the long run and your futures selves will thank you! I see your family enjoying this forever home and property for …well, forever!! 😊❤
Hey, this being is your forever home, that front porch not having steps will be great as you age,😂. Watching them install the concrete to me is fun to watch as it requires so many steps to make it look great. I love that you all did handprints on the stoop. Memory for a lifetime. I was wondering how you guys faired when the tropical storm hit y’all’s area. Hope your parents were up there with you, if not I pray they are ok and no damage. 😊❤
We just had rain and some winds. Thankfully we didn't get any damage to our property. My parents' area didn't sustain much damage either. Hope you are okay!
We put our 1000 gallon tank away from the house. I don't have to weed eat around it either. I enjoy my tank. I have propane gas to heat, cool, and water tank that is hot for a long time. I have a rhinni hot water tank. Love it. Good job on the propane tank and gas to heat with.
So very exciting. All of a sudden, my mind is saying tomorrow is October 1. My great niece will be due in mid November with her 4th, and I was thinking of when your little girl is due? My niece was in 🎉 similar situation because her 3rd girl had not had her 1st birthday. Until July. Please know that I have so much respect for the both of you.
Our little girl passed away this past July. She would have been born in November. Congratulations to your niece! How wonderful, wishing her a great labor and recovery.
I love watching all your updates! Your house reminds me of mine in a lot of ways. We were able to bury our propane tank so there's only a small access hatch visible. We also opted for a gravel road leading up to our nice driveway and it fits with the aesthetic just fine. It's dusty in summer but that's no big deal. I am curious about how your projected budget for each phase compares to actual cost. Hopefully you will do a video about that at the very end without sharing actual numbers to help others who are planning to build. Take care!
I totally get the rocky ground thing. I've lined the borders of all my flower beds with head size and larger sized rocks and the little rocks too. I can't just dig in my flower beds and plant something on a whim, one year I wanted to add ornamental cabbage to my front bed and I filled a 5 gallon bucket with rocks just from trying to plant a few cabbages. Then they got eaten to the ground. lol The kicker is we've been here over 10 yrs now and I SWEAR there are MORE rocks coming to the surface. lol I farm rocks. I can't even sick solar lights in the ground. Or those Shepard hooks to hang a plant. NOoooo.... I gave up and just started doing above ground stuff. lol I just embed everything in a pot or cinder block and then plant it in a planter. lol

We put our handprints in a set of concrete stairs when our parents built a house 45 yrs ago & some family friends bought the house & our handprints are still there. Great memories. Poor Nelson. TN already beat FL & AL...maybe GA will be their next victim. 😅
I can't imagine how exhausting it was just making all the extra decisions with $ at the for front of everything. I think I would have a lot of sleepless nights. How many bedrooms again?
