A couple of things. 1. Congrats to Quin on the new to him Stang, its freaking sweet. 2. Hope Nissan is taking notice because this is Old School Nissan when they were an actual Japanese Owned Company with cool cars before being bought out by the French🙄3. Lastly, This build to me is one of your best you guys have done. Literally taking a Junk Yard find (pretty darn close to that) and bringing it back to life to keep one of Nissan's iconic cars on the road with one of Nissan's Iconic engines. Just freaking brilliant!!
Quin buying the Mustang shows he's an all around car guy. I can like any car that is fun, looks good, is reliable, and has some power. I don't care who designed, built, or sold it. Most people get hung up on brands or even countries, but a cool car is a cool car no matter what.
I recommend you guys seal all those battery terminals in the back with some sort of sealant so that incase fuel ever does leak, it won't get up underneath the insulation and possibly ignite.
Wanna know what really pisses me off about THROTL? The video quality, the skill level, craftsmanship & awesome projects make it so hard to watch some of the garbage other channels put out...

2000s car technology for aftermarket bolt ons was terrible so I hope this is not a 2000s build. For the sake of whoever ends up owning this car. High rate of parts failure. Maintenance nightmare. HEADACHE.

You should get a VMP blower for the mustang. You can run the big pulley so it’s not a ton of power. Listening to the whine while driving is hands down one of my favorites. Sounds so freaking good. Get throtl to sponsor it! Who knows maybe yall will start supplying their stuff.

If you run a high output alt, you should put a big 3 on as well (0 GA wire for battery ground, engine ground and alt power to batt [or distro block if vehicle has one]). it basically prevents the power that the alt makes from a "trying to suck the golf ball through the garden hose" for your electronics and any kind of audio setup ( a must for audio) compared to the small GA wire thats stock.

good choice with the mustang, when you get an exhaust make sure it's an H pipe not an x-pipe. I had the X and wished i had the H, the X screams but for 1-2hp you get the growl on the H which sounds so much more muscle-y.
Besides the late 60's early 70's and the fox bodies I've never been a fan of the Mustang. Was always a cheap slow shit box but this last generation has me thinking about getting one. Like you said for the money you really can't beat it plus they actually look good now! Excited to see you build it.

If you wrap masking tape 2x around the braided wire, it won’t unravel and makes it that much easier to slide the compression fitting on.

Into the build. Just one recommendation: As clean as you are making this car and the bay... take a few minutes to remove the interior AC core from the blower box which will delete the two AC leads poking out of the firewall. Easy work for that extra little extra!
*Unless you're planning to keep AC of course... but who does that? HAHA ;)

I just saw a black Z32 in the parking lot today. It looks all stock. I assume it was the same 5-speed one we had come in for minor work when I worked at Nissan.
