If you'll use multibody solid in Inventor program, in on file you'll receive as nut as rod. Then you can make assembly from part file. Two details are managing by one part file. Have a nice day

You don't need to create a nut. You can just import it -> import -> McMasters-cardd component
For larger prints i recomment the hole in the nut 1 mm bigger

Is specifying the animation useful for anything beside presentation?
Can it play a role in simulation for example?
theres any way to add a chamfer to the tip of the thread? or make the starting tip of the bolt a little smaller??
