And Rachel on knowing that Finn was her person... If you have found “the one” don’t let them go because at the end of the day you will want that special someone to come home to you and enjoy a family with that person. I married my first love and I look forward to growing old with him. I honestly agree with Quinn. Finn and Rachel are too young to get married, they're still in high school, they don't qualify for a marriage license, and Rachel has a bright future ahead of her which she can't have if she gets married too soon. I think quinn made a good point, it is a better idea for women and men to have themselves first, i know finding the balance of career and love is difficult but i want me first, unless if you are able to have a supportive spouse who has the same goals as you and unless you guys are already adults when you start dating for high school relationships id just say take a break, go to your dream school, get settled in your dream career and then focus on love and family, im glad i didnt stay with any of the people i dated in high school, adult relationships can be and mostly are better and more solid than high school relationships, there is a big world out there, dont waste your time in your small town and not experience it.
I hate this notion that women shouldn’t get married to the one to pursue their dreams. If you have found “the one” don’t let them go because at the end of the day you will want that special someone to come home to you and enjoy a family with that person. I married my first love and I look forward to growing old with him. This world offers nothing that causes lasting happiness, so after you have achieved your “dream” you will realize the most important thing is love.

Finn and Rachel are too young to get married, they're still in high school, they don't qualify for a marriage license, and Rachel has a bright future ahead of her which she can't have if she gets married too soon. Plus, they both have plans after graduation: Rachel is headed to NYADA and Finn is joining the army. There's no way they can accomplish their quests and still be together

she’s got a point y’all. Don’t rush into things when ur a teen, how can u know that this person u love now you’ll love in your 20s? 30s? 40s? 50? Etc. You have the rest of your life to settle down. Spend your youth on you and only you. Find and love yourself first before giving yourself to someone else. There’s no rush to settle down yet there’s so little time to focus on you.
