Same. I feel like Jesse and Finn were the only guys that could handle Rachel in her entirety. All of her drama and her warped logic. I personally don't even think that Brody was a good enough match for her. But after Finn's (Cory's) death I agree that Jesse is a great match and not some random guy

They could’ve done so much but the last season was definitely rushed. Glee’s seasons usually always had 22 to 23 episodes. Season 6 only has 13. It sucks that they had to cram so much stuff in just 13 episodes. The finale felt so rushed. I love the show a lot but it made me sad to see it end

I miss Glee, I mean they had to stop because it was getting boring, I loved it up until s3 but then I just didn't like it that much but continued watching because I wanted to know how it ended and I grew attached to them. But it was such a good show and I cried my eyes out during this final episode and well yea, I'm glad I watched it. It reminds me of when I was younger and still in high school and sneakily watching the episodes when I actually had to study. Idk why I'm saying all this but some of you probably know how I feel hahah
+Lotte I didn't cry my eyes out or even cry at all during this finale, because it was so fucking predictable. This finale angered me so much, and the fact that Rachel was like, "I'm not gonna win" was just a ploy in a poor attempt to surprise the audience by having Rachel win. I'm glad this show is over, and to this day I have not gone back to watch any of the episodes, but I still listen to the songs.
+Kobe Busia yes that is true but I just cry at most series finales because it is just the end of something you've sorta been a part of for years and that makes me emotional and in that case I'm just an emotional person. But you were right, we all knew what was gonna happen but I liked it though :) Even though the last seasons were shit
I always always always loved them together. I mean I loved Finchel of course but I feel like Finchel vs Jachel was like what you think you want vs what was really made for you. And I was just really happy for Jesse since it was made very apparent thought the whole series that he NEVER stops loving her. He just looks so happy to finally have her
All I can think was, "that's suppose to be Finn by her side." They definitely wrote the show with intentions that Rachel and Finn would end up together. RIP Cory babe.
It’s sad that Finn/Corey died. But I’m going to be honest, I don’t like them together. Plus, it’s been years. I’m not saying she doesn’t think about him from time to time, but she moved on. That’s how the cookie crumbles.
I'm sure I read that when she was talking to Mr Shue about how she had imagined her life with Finn, that was supposed to be the actual ending. I'm guessing they brought Sam in as a teacher to try and keep to some of the original ending.
If she did, Jesse needed to perform Bohemian Rhapsody again. Especially when the baby is crowning or our, it could be the part, "I see a little silhouetteo of a man"...
Glee is such a powerful show... Mock all you like but as someone who started watching it since it first aired and quitted and never watched a single episode after Cory died, I want to say I found my way back to the Glee family after 3 years and this is the billionth Glee vid i'm watching tonight and I cried at every last bit of them. I felt like a mother who left their children when they were kids and rushed in at the last minute to their weddings/graduation or sth. Thank you Ryan Murphy and everyone there is to thank to make this show possible. And thank you indeed Mr. Shue as you made a glee club of us all, around the world. Okay, I'll go back to my corner keep crying :)
I love how she thanked Mr Schute because he really did help her grow in those early stages helped her develop and sense of self and direction, teachers like that are so critically to a persons growth and development
Glee is the best show ever. To think about how one teacher strived to make the glee club and change all these people's lives just makes me cry omg. Throughout the show, they achieved so many accomplishments and a cast member even passed away. They've gone through so much. Look at how far they've all come, I love this show ❤️
+Aye.aishah He may have changed people's lives, but he smothered Rachel and (to a degree)Finn with all the attention. In a lot of ways, Will Schuester is NOT a good teacher
***** I don't agree with the fact that they came to him the most. Why? Because Will kept giving Rachel the majority of the solos in competitions, and always giving her and Finn the duets while pretty much ignoring the talents of the other students. Yes there was that one episode from season 2 where he gave the solo to Santana, the duet to Sam and Quinn, and let Mike and Brittany take the lead dance spot, but the circumstances under which that happened were contrived because the only reasons Will was saying, "Oh I'm gonna highlight the amount of talent we've got in our glee club", was because Emma told him, and because the plot of the episode demanded that Will Schuester act like he's always cared about everyone equally. If u don't remember, in season 3 episode 4, after Blaine sang Last Friday Night and Rachel said, "That song was awesome, I think we should do it for Sectionals", Santana asks, "So, no concern about showcasing any other voices in the competitions this year"? What does Will say? He says, "Come on Santana, you were featured last year at Sectionals", would a truly caring teacher say that? No, cause it's been clear that he blatantly favored Finn and Rachel more than anyone else. So no I'm not lying when I say that Will Schuester's not a very good teacher.
No matter how many times I revisit this scene, I will always cry, I can be laughing minutes before, and just see, that moves me too much! Glee is my tv show
I cried several times in this episode. This truely was the most emotional moment for Rachel (on screen). I was so overwhelmed by the fact glee had ended. Rachel got up there while she was PREGGERS as well. How she devoted the award to Mr. Shue. Just wow. Lea’s acting here is fantastic too. It would have been an emotional moment not only for her character, but also for the real her, as she had been Rachel from the very start and had grown while playing her as well as feeling and experiencing everything that happened to Rachel.
watched thinking yey for Rachel she got what she wants. And when she started her speech and mentioned Mr. Shue, I started crying. It felt so real. It goes to all educators out there, that without them, we are nothing.
For those that don't believe Rachel didn't mentchion Finn she did while she was dedicating her award to Mr. Schue. "He picked me up when I was in a million pieces" That was her reference to Finn. Mr Schue deserved that dedication hands down.
I had a teacher like that and last year I had the chance to thank her. She was completely unimpressed and told me that she just did her job... To her it was completely random and normal to support and encourage her students the way she did. She died recently and I know that I'm not the only one who will never forget her and keep her in heart as an incredibly wonderful, crazy, strong, brave and caring woman ❤
The amount she changed was phenomenal all of them. She was such a brat in the beginning and now she was so suprised for getting the Tony when in the beginning she was so sure she was gonna get it. And her mentioning Sue made it all so awesome
Zancou Nexus And it's a shame the last "New Directions" were cast so damn late. They were better at everything that those in season 4 (apart from Becca, that is).
Ryder was good to bad he and kitty couldn't both stay at McKinley they were only good newbies from season 4 it's unfortunate that they didn't right them any good story's they had a lot of potential
I'm sure, every single person, who watched this, just has waited for that beautiful words, she would say about Finn Hudson. And then, at the end of the speech, we were just speechless. I can understand why, but it hurts anyway.
She is remarried and loves her husband. Finn was her first love and it's not something you forget. But you gotta move on with your life. He wouldn't of wanted her to dwell over him. He would of wanted her to move on and love again and do what she loved.
rewatching this after 2 years of the show over and I still cry like a baby when Rachel mention Mr. Shuester. I love glee soo much, I feel like I grow up with them and that was amazing. I love everything about it, even those episode with the new guys of the chorus. and the end was everything that I was expecting and more 💖💖💖💖🔝
i kinda expect or just hope that she just gonna mention Finn in the speech (which could be very awkward since Jessie is her husband now). I mean like what could she said, "Oh Jessie I love you so much baby, but I want to dedicate this award to Finn Hudson, my one and only true love"
Kathryn Crowley I think they don't mention him because that's what naturally happens in life when someone passes. My aunt lost her first husband (my uncle) 8 months after they were married and while she did get remarried, she does still miss my uncle terribly, but she doesn't mention him that much in front of her current husband because she doesn't want to be stuck in the past and imply that their current marriage isn't special. She doesn't talk much about my uncle because she's even said that if you allow yourself to wallow on a memory and never move on, you will never grow and it will only make the hurt feel fresh. Rachel I'm certain still loved Finn, but she knew she couldn't dwell forever on something she couldn't change, so she focused on the present and what made her happy after such a tragedy.
***** That is what happens for some people in life when someone passes. That is called anecdotal evidence because you don't speak for everyone who has lost somebody.
As sad as I initially was when Rachel didn't mention Finn, i think I get it now. Finn was responsible for sending her to NY the first time. He loved her enough to let her go, because they both knew the universe would bring them back together someday ('I'd walk through those doors and just say "I'm home"' But then Finn left her, and Rachel had to struggle to find a new path for her life to take. And Kurt, Sam and the rest of the ND, alongside Jesse and Mr Schue were responsible for her happiness now.
I always preffered Jesse and Rachel over Finn and Rachel. They have so much in common and were basically identical in interest while Finn and Rachel were just a clique unpopular girl gushing over the quarterback. They didn't have much in common compared to Jesse and Rachels realtionship. People only shipped them due to their real life relationship
She might've not mentioned Finn by name, but what she said about Mr. Schue, picking up her pieces, well that was about Finn. I miss Finn and Corey, but I do think that they did the right thing here. He was her foremost love, the love of her life, but she had to move on and I'm glad she was able to. And Jesse turned out to be her second greatest love. Mr. Schue did however deserve the praise he got, each and every time. Because he made Glee happen, he opened the eyes of so many misfits, that they COULD become something. He even tried convincing Puckerman so. Give thumbs up if you agree with me here.
Everytime I'm watching this I will end up crying so much...like I just can't So proud of them. Okay now I'm crying while I'm typing this comment.... I will never stop watching and loving this show - forever a Gleek♥
I loved her speech but I also think she should of mentioned Finn as well. like when Finn and Rachel were going to get married and he took her to the train station instead and he told her to go to New York to follow her dreams. Finn was also a big impact in her success.
stupid fcks.. Finn was not only a 'high school love' it was wayyyyyyy more then that and if that douchebag of a Jesse couldn't handle it that Finn will always be a part of her he shouldn't have married her.. there was literally no excuse to not mention Finn.
amazing job Rachel berry /Lea Michele you were so amazing on glee I could not stop watching that show until the 121th episode and now I am just watching your UA-cam channels
Daaaamn. This is how the show ends? Didn't expect that. And to be with Jesse and pregnant? Wow, that's a really nice ending. Will's reaction is beautiful
I really just wished that they would mention Finn somewhere in there.... Way back in the day whenever she felt like giving up on herself, he was always the one pushing her forward and showing her that she was strong enough to do it... I just can't believe there was no mention of him in this. It makes me sad :( i know her character is married and expecting, but he was still a huge part of her past.
I havent watched Glee after the Quarterback and this is my first time watching this scene. Crying hard. I'm glad for Rachel. Especially thanks to Mr. Schue the man who started it all.
misteryhorse It's in poor taste to bring up old love in this situation. Imagine how shitty everyone listening would feel, especially Jesse. He would have felt like a consolation prize (even though he is but still...)
Having not watched the last few seasons, seeing the difference between early Rachel thinking she's the best at everything and this episode where she sincerely thought she wasn't gonna win, only to be surprised was some awesome character growth.
Me too And he still was robbed of a Tony Award- no- TWO Tony’s YOU CANNOT CHANGE MY MIND Give the guy a Tony! (Sorry for my tiny rant, he’s just crazy talented)
I am crying right now and that's because Finn always knew she would be there always knew she was a star and now she's up there. I personally would've given him a thank you. Because he's amazing and always saw the best in her. 😭💖 Rest easy Cory we still and always will miss you
Just finished watching the entire series on Netflix last night and I already miss it. Glee was such an amazing show to watch and experience.
But you were right, we all knew what was gonna happen but I liked it though :) Even though the last seasons were shit
the chanpion
best calling today
Lotte they had to stop because Finn (Cory) died😭😭😭😭😭
Shelby should have seen this.
She was in de background, behind kitty
MaritMarzipan that was an extra lol
I always always always loved them together. I mean I loved Finchel of course but I feel like Finchel vs Jachel was like what you think you want vs what was really made for you. And I was just really happy for Jesse since it was made very apparent thought the whole series that he NEVER stops loving her. He just looks so happy to finally have her
All I can think was, "that's suppose to be Finn by her side." They definitely wrote the show with intentions that Rachel and Finn would end up together.
RIP Cory babe.
Definitely because i think finn would have gotten somehow into acting and maybe he would’ve ended up directing rachels show.
Life is unprecedented.
Did anyone else want her to go into labor during her speech? That would have been HILARIOUS!
YES I THOUGHT SHE WAS GOING TO
Luckily I wasn't the only one with these thoughts
Naomi Altschuler YES
Alyla Willox ME TOO
If she did, Jesse needed to perform Bohemian Rhapsody again.
This part is so heartening, i tear everytime i see it.
I'M REWATCHING THIS AFTER LIKE 2 YEARS AND I'M CRYING ALL OVER AGAIN
Fuck yeah I fucking loved this part
I just noticed that ANDREW RANNELLS ANNOUNCED THE TONY WINNER AND I AM ONLY NOW TRULY *LIVING*
My heart just melt when she dedicated most of her speech to mr. schue, i mean if it weren't for him things might be different. :) #justsaying
its been years and i still cry every time
No matter how many times I revisit this scene, I will always cry, I can be laughing minutes before, and just see, that moves me too much!
I feel like when Jesse said “have some humility for once” he was talking to Lea not Rachel 😂
watched thinking yey for Rachel she got what she wants.
She died recently and I know that I'm not the only one who will never forget her and keep her in heart as an incredibly wonderful, crazy, strong, brave and caring woman ❤
now lea is back on Broadway and she saved Funny Girl... Glee is life
Absolutely over the moon that Rachel ended up with Jesse!!! I wanted them together since Season 1! What a fitting ending for Glee!!!
Really?? For what? :o
@@kk8490 She was co-producer for "Once on this island"
It’s 2020 time to see willow smith in cabaret
The amount she changed was phenomenal all of them. She was such a brat in the beginning and now she was so suprised for getting the Tony when in the beginning she was so sure she was gonna get it. And her mentioning Sue made it all so awesome
I kinda wish Becca was casted in season 2 like Darren did. She was the only 1 out of the Season 4 'new ones' that i liked
Zancou Nexus Agreed
Zancou Nexus And it's a shame the last "New Directions" were cast so damn late. They were better at everything that those in season 4 (apart from Becca, that is).
Ryder was good to bad he and kitty couldn't both stay at McKinley they were only good newbies from season 4 it's unfortunate that they didn't right them any good story's they had a lot of potential
This makes me happy and sad at the same time i can't stop crying
I love this part because it's so full of hope.
even when i watch it for the 100th time i cry a river because of her i simply love her
I'm sure, every single person, who watched this, just has waited for that beautiful words, she would say about Finn Hudson. And then, at the end of the speech, we were just speechless. I can understand why, but it hurts anyway.
Valentinex3
She is remarried and loves her husband. Finn was her first love and it's not something you forget. But you gotta move on with your life. He wouldn't of wanted her to dwell over him. He would of wanted her to move on and love again and do what she loved.
rewatching this after 2 years of the show over and I still cry like a baby when Rachel mention Mr. Shuester. I love glee soo much, I feel like I grow up with them and that was amazing. I love everything about it, even those episode with the new guys of the chorus. and the end was everything that I was expecting and more 💖💖💖💖🔝
I don't think I could ever watch this without bawling my face off😭
This made me so incredibly happy! I cant believe how far the characters and show has come.... just miss Quinn!
Her acting in this scene is flawless.
2020, here crying still. Both bc the show meant so much, and for Naya and Cory, who may always rest in peace.
I love how when she won all her friends are yelling and cheering for her its so cute
I'm so glad this amazing moment occurred throughout the show.
This still gets to me. I miss gleee so much
OMG IT'S ALMOST 2020 AND I'M STILL CRYING MY TEARS OUT WITH THIS SHOW
i kinda expect or just hope that she just gonna mention Finn in the speech (which could be very awkward since Jessie is her husband now). I mean like what could she said, "Oh Jessie I love you so much baby, but I want to dedicate this award to Finn Hudson, my one and only true love"
DHV Mashup Im sure Jesse would have LOVED that 'one and only true love' part
I know i miss flinn its like after he died they dont even mention him anymore
Kathryn Crowley they do in the final scene of the show. they name it the finn hudson auditorium
I HAVE NEVER SEEN GLEE IN MY LIFE WHY AM I CRYING FOR THIS 😭
This episode gave me so many chills
Such a wonderful glee family, this show is goals.
She’s come so far from her performance of Don’t Stop Believing with Finn. This scene always makes me cry.
Of all the people Rachel could have thanked Mr. Schu was without question the most deserving.
And Kurt, Sam and the rest of the ND, alongside Jesse and Mr Schue were responsible for her happiness now.
i love everythign about this scene. will's family, jessie beig back in her life, her speech, her friends watching
I honestly cried during this scene because it was everything, the build up, the journey up to this point. My whole Childhood.
I am rewatching all these little clips of the last episodes of glee and I am crying every second of it
Anybody else cry with Mr. Shue...heck who cried the entire episode knowing it was the last
Blake D. 🙋🏻♀️
I haven't seen the finale because I don't want to accept the show ended.... I just saw this and Im in tears!
This made me cry so hard I loved it so much Rachel deserved everything she got
Everytime I'm watching this I will end up crying so much...like I just can't
So proud of them. Okay now I'm crying while I'm typing this comment.... I will never stop watching and loving this show - forever a Gleek♥
Weird to realize that two King George’s were in this one episode
Who’s the other one?
@@maxeyre2024 Andrew Rannells!
I just couldn't do it! I broke down in tears when I saw this. It has all been building up to this moment. 👌👏😊💖😍😘👸
I loved her speech but I also think she should of mentioned Finn as well. like when Finn and Rachel were going to get married and he took her to the train station instead and he told her to go to New York to follow her dreams. Finn was also a big impact in her success.
aliciaaax48 If she did, imagine how Jesse would feel. There is a time and place for that, and this is not one of them
Great Teacher This is not jesse's tony it is her.
Kenneth Davis So consideration of other people's feelings gets thrown out the window?
stupid fcks.. Finn was not only a 'high school love' it was wayyyyyyy more then that and if that douchebag of a Jesse couldn't handle it that Finn will always be a part of her he shouldn't have married her.. there was literally no excuse to not mention Finn.
Yutz finally someone who understands that they were more than “high school lovers”
amazing job Rachel berry /Lea Michele you were so amazing on glee I could not stop watching that show until the 121th episode and now I am just watching your UA-cam channels
Daaaamn. This is how the show ends? Didn't expect that. And to be with Jesse and pregnant? Wow, that's a really nice ending. Will's reaction is beautiful
Aww. Will's dream of inspiring his students finally realized and accomplished in this moment. Amazing
Am I the only one cracking up about Sam at 0:36 😂😂😂
Being a part of something special doesn't make your special, Something is special because you are a part of it.
I really just wished that they would mention Finn somewhere in there....
Way back in the day whenever she felt like giving up on herself, he was always the one pushing her forward and showing her that she was strong enough to do it...
I just can't believe there was no mention of him in this. It makes me sad :(
i know her character is married and expecting, but he was still a huge part of her past.
I havent watched Glee after the Quarterback and this is my first time watching this scene. Crying hard. I'm glad for Rachel. Especially thanks to Mr. Schue the man who started it all.
Crying a lot.Bit dissapointed that she didnt mention Finn...
misteryhorse ikr, I am also disappointed that she married jessie.. like wtf?!?!? even Brody was better than him...
I actually dont know about the Brody-Jessie.
Like Brody was a Gigolo and cheatd on her while Jessie was just so stupid back then
misteryhorse It's in poor taste to bring up old love in this situation. Imagine how shitty everyone listening would feel, especially Jesse. He would have felt like a consolation prize (even though he is but still...)
misteryhorse I know Finn was her true love not freaking Jesse
I don't like Jesse either, but guys it was more than five years after Finn. Come on.
Having not watched the last few seasons, seeing the difference between early Rachel thinking she's the best at everything and this episode where she sincerely thought she wasn't gonna win, only to be surprised was some awesome character growth.
I love glee just as much as the next gal, but I came back for this scene for one reason, and one reason only, *Andrew Rannells*
Me too
Me too
And he still was robbed of a Tony Award- no- TWO Tony’s YOU CANNOT CHANGE MY MIND
Give the guy a Tony!
(Sorry for my tiny rant, he’s just crazy talented)
When I watched this for the first time...I teared up when seeing mr schues reaction and the end when the camera focused on his face😭
When Rachel didn´t mentioned Finn in her speach it made me cry like a lot!!!
I really only wish that Cory didn’t pass away and that the show would’ve went on longer. The final season just felt so rushed and you could tell the producers were ready to just move on with the show. I hope that someday we could get a reboot series with a new generation. It probably wouldn’t be the same but I never wanted the show to end while watching it
Finn Hudson is watching her proudly from above
