Quinn breaking on “you don’t belong here Rachel and you can’t hate me for trying to send you on your way” says so much to me about their dynamic
quinn always sees rachel as a star and believes in her to make it in broadway and with how much it meant to rachel, you can really see how they complete each other and push each other to be a better person. quinn's love and devotion to rachel can be seen from the deleted scene in bridesmaid.
I don’t think in that scene that she was looking out for Rachel, she was scared of her own future and she knew she was settling for Finn and maybe she didn’t want Rachel to do that but it was mostly her own insecurities

Same! Maybe 12 year old, super in denial and wouldn’t realise it till 3 years later, lesbian self was just projecting. But I related to their moments so much and in a way didn’t realise how gay some of those thoughts were to have about other girls. But I shipped them from the start. I always thought “why are these two gorgeous girls fighting over FINN” and I remember my friend was crushing on Finn so much and I just couldn’t see it. But was like “Quinn’s really pretty”, and basically every women on the show.

9:28 OMG i didn't remember this scene but this is SUCH a good summary of what constantly happens in the show. It's everyone, not giving a single shit about the Glee club, and Rachel, trying to make decisions to help the club win. But then the idea of Rachel having the spotlight for her OWN IDEA is so unbearable to them that they suddenly make a 180 and they start complaining because "why shouldn't we have a shot at it ?".
Eh it is still 50-50 it is either Rachel being deserving of the spotlight, or she is being selfish.
