A young reindeer, Rudolph, lives at the North Pole. His father is one of Santa's reindeer, and it is expected that Rudolph will eventually be one too. However, he has a setback feature that causes him to be ostracized: his red nose.

Merry Christmas, Rukiya! This is such a Christmas classic. Easily my favorite Holiday movie as a kid. The stop motion and character designs are really good, Burl Ives as the snowman is iconic, and of course, the songs are amazing.

I loved this movie when I was a kid, I had a golden book of Rudolph that came with a Rudolph plushie(You press the ear and the nose would light up) and a singing Rudolph plushie. If you like underrated christmas movies, I would definitely recommend Olive the Other Reindeer. Great video!❤

I watch this movie every year as Christmas approaches. Along with White Christmas and Charlie Brown Christmas. Babes in Toyland also.If you have never seen that last one, I highly recommend it. It has Keanu Reeves and Drew Barrymore.

This movie was a yearly tradition for me and my family for the longest time. It still gives warm fuzzies to my dead heart lol
My dad absolutely adores this special and has since he was a child. His favorite character is Sam the Snowman, which I didn't know until earlier this year.

Let’s get one fact straight rukiya can rock any outfit like she is a fashion icon. I just watched the polar express last week because you reminded me of its existence. I also like the grinch movies too i mean the original classic is so cute. The live action is so unnecessarily terrifying yet goofy. The new animated was like ok but i don’t love it.
Saw this new in 1964 as a child first time on TV Now at 64 years old I still enjoy it every year.

A friend when he did his reaction pointed out at the end that the toys getting umbrellas to float gently down to their new homes except for the bird who’s the Bird That Doesn’t Flies But Swims….
Did anyone else notice during the end credits that the elf tossing the toys just threw the bird that swims off the sleigh without an umbrella?!? IT'S A FLIGHTLESS BIRD! He just murdered that poor toy!

My nose is constantly turning red due to allergies, colds, and/or drunkenness. Sometimes, it'll just turn red for no reason at all. Because of this, my mom calls me Rudolph.
Yukon Cornelius. He's actually looking for a peppermint mine. That's why he keeps licking his pick and saying "Nothing".
In the original version, Santa does not visit the Island of Misfit Toys. That scene was added later when the studio received a bunch of letters complaining about Santa not helping the toys.
The elf gives each toy an umbrella when he drops them out of the sleigh, except the bird. This was meant to imply that Santa gave the bird the ability to fly.
The head elf's voice sounds gruff and angry when he's bossing the elves around and more timid when he's leading the elves in "Elf Practice". This is meant to imply that he has two personalities- One when Santa is around and another when he's not around.
Hermie is the only elf that doesn't have pointy ears. He's also the only elf with hair and eyes that dilate.

Fun fact!!: Did you know that both female and male reindeer have antlers? Also, males loose theirs during the winter while females do in spring! Meaning, all of Santa’s reindeer would technically be female! :)
