GGG I am astounded with 6 10 on 1 to 100. You are the godly fryer of D4 Barb
You can save a few seconds by using waypoints to tp instead of map. In case you are near a waypoint of course

And the CC-effects that nealy got you are the exact reason I put the "Metamorphosis" thingy into the shoes of my HC chars. It makes you unstoppable while evade and is a last resort when shit hits the fan. Also gives you a nice bounch of souls that add to your damage next time you activate certain skills.
When season started and you were talking about doing this, I was like “who cares really, we have new endgame systems rax” but damn now i’m sitting through 8 hours of my blue hoodie bro leveling fast, not surprised tho
Do you know how much NMD have you done in this run? I have started also a Barb now.
So basically to sum it up (lmk if I’m missing any other details since I just skipped through the NMD section & only checked which tiers he was doing at certain levels)
* Spam helltides until you can do class quest, temper gear
* do capstone asap (do more helltides to level if you can’t do it at 25)
* NMD 1-5 as soon as you hit wt3 to get to lvl 35
* get full Sacred gear (can fill in missing pieces with obols), temper all of it
* capstone right after
* 2 NMD’s right away tier 21-25
* temper new Ancestral gear
* NMD’s 21-25 tier until level 60
* upgrade all gear,hit armor 9230 /res cap 70%/15k+ life, can hit res cap with gems on gear, prioritize MS everywhere & ideally try to MW it once
* NMD 31-35 til level 66
* get 925 weapons ASAP
* NMD 36-40 til level 71
* NMD 41-50 til level 88
* NMD 51-60 til 100
Some other notes:
* always have double elixir’s plus incense popped
* do every dungeon event
* hold W at all times & just let missing items pile up in your stash
* salvage all gear unless it’s GA (tho keep an eye out on non-GA gear with rare affixes like CDR, MS, or +skills/passives)

Godly summary my dude. to answer conikia, ancients give you coverage in the NMD events (only thing that matters) and give you infinite resources while they're up, to chain kill the monsters for more XP
how do you pop double exlirs? do you get more xp by doing so?
You need Elixir of Antivenin, do the quest and you can pop this and another one.... might be patched soon though
@@conikia why would it get patched, its ment as a catchup mechanic for alts, it requires lvl 61 for the quest and by then you are wt4 already with one char

i must have done something incorrectly in my build but how do i generate those thorns that generate after a kill. and the whirlwinds?

Would’ve been cool to see how fast can you do 1-100 in a group. I’ve seen people done in 4 hours, wonder if its possible even faster.

You should try to make a THORNS barb. Should be interesting!
Did you actually choose a weapon expertise technique?
I still think if you slotted some more paragon points at like lvl 90 you could’ve gained more power to go faster. It didn’t even need to follow a guide, just give a quick look and go for like rare nodes since some the points weren’t spent anyway
OMG I thought it was just me that stood still at HT spawn area. unreal
I fixed my chain crashing by deleting the "perflog.txt" file in my d4 folder under documents, haven't had a single crash since running ultra on graphics :D

Sorry for dumb question, but are certain weapon types significantly better than others for barbarian? Ive only ever played rogue but this makes me want to try barbarian, but i mind of wanted to use swords or axes. Thanks in advance and nice video.
This can be answered by playing barbarian, or looking at a build guide.
Barb has bonuses for different weapon types in the skill tree. He took the bonuses for using maces.
I don’t want to read guides, I would rather talk with a person. Isn’t that way better? But you’re right, I’ll just play and find out.
Generally a one handed sword and mace duel wield is considered the “meta” or a two handed mace. But as you level I wouldn’t worry about it much til maybe level 60-70ish
i don't remember off the top of my head but here goes
implicit:
1 and 2 handed mace: overpower damage
1 and 2 handed swords: critical strike damage
i can't remember if 1 handed mace is vulnerable damage or overpower damage, though. hope this helps! the only difference is the implicit stat of the item + a slight attack speed difference which usually isn't super important as compared to the implicit you get, especially later in the game

@@kudbettinkohen1935 haha you're wrong!! You just don't get more BONUS XP from 10+ levels higher. But the base XP of the monsters is a lot more...
@@kudbettinkohen1935 to be a bit more informative and nice than the other commenter, you still get more xp. The % bonus you get is capped at 10 levels higher than you, but monsters at level 60 still give twice the Xp than monsters at level 30.

Is there a bug with greater affix grandfather?
Yeah, it can roll on the ”this item does not loose durability” which is hidden, so you cant even see the stat. But ive seen a GF with GA and it has none of the statrows increased. So im suspecting it rolled on the ”this item is indestructible” row, that blizzard hid for us, but its still there.
This is also the case when masterworking. It can crit on the ”indestructible” affix, which you cant even see, so if you have a grandfather, dont masterwork it until they have sorted that out.
How does he sustain fury so well. Im constantly out with this build.
That's what I was trying to figure out when I tried this for the first time. He moves so fast and that split timer box covers up things half the time so I can't see what skills he uses. And they're different than what they have on Maxroll so I can't even use that unless I want to just assume it'll work the same or better.
How is all his damage causing vulnerable? I’ve got a level 55 barb that isn’t doing that and I’ve followed the guide…
Either using the Exploit glyph or he has an item with the “chance to make enemies vulnerable on hit” stat rolled on it (good to have it on one of your rings)
The Violent Double Swing node in the skill tree applies Vulnerable, as well as both the Mighty Charge node and Expose Vulnerability node in the skill tree.
Do I have to assign weapons or is automaticly the best chosen
Depends on what skill your using
Depends on the skill. Some will use the best weapon(s), some can only use a certain one. Will say in the tooltip.
The skills that can use any weapon you can manually set to use only a certain weapon if you want.

I need help. I play Barb. I have no trouble clearing lvl 32 pit. But the lvl 103 Blood Maiden in Helltides one shots me with "not the fire rings" ( I cant see what kills me) and I barely do damage. I run around for 20+ mins doing little damage just to die instantly.
How can I improve my damage against her?
Didn't give us much to go on. What's your level, what version of barb are you running?
@@Jk-zv6tz level 100 Barb. 56k attack 9.8 k armor 44.5k life. Im guessing my build is not for boss fights. I use a steel grasp/deathblow combo with the Overkill unique. I just bunch em up and spam death blow to clear. I guess another build for boss fights might help me.

Dust devil is the biggest trap. It's great for leveling, but endgame is atrocious. I have a masterworked double ga gear and it struggles with pit 70 like crazy. Respeccing into bash build from Rob. Not taking any more chances.
Your gear isn't optimised if you can't get 100+ pit.
My dustdevil barb literally farming 110+ pits in under 4mins.
Im blasting through 100 and i dont even have full 925 gear yet. Youre doing something wrong.
Do you have a video clear? I had1 to 1 maxroll build, with ga items including ramaldani etc. I can speed farm pit 90 on my wonky bash with barely masterworked gear@@ShaddyzZz
Why did he say the guy needed to stay still during the souls event in heltide im so lost
I think it’s just way better for EXP for two reasons. First of all, it’s better to wait until the last 15 or 20 seconds to collect the final orb for that event so that you can take advantage of the mob density from them spawning as much as possible. The second reason is that it just groups the orbs up a lot better which makes it easier to grab all the orbs quickly when you’re ready (all in a small circle around you in the center instead of spread out everywhere)
What he said. You also dont want the event to end too quickly so that you lose out on the last couple waves of mobs, that usually are the most dense waves.

tempering items in s4 is the worst stuff i have ever done in d4 so far - i have brigged so many pretty good items due to sucking temper stuff i don´t want - rng events in nm dungeons stragen - i encounter 1 event in every nm dungeon so far i have done you just have to look and explore the whole dungeon - yeah totally strange but i guess it´s because you just care about finish as fast as possible
I’ve got a barb thorns build that is doing really well. Just smoked Zir in WT4 and I don’t think the fight lasted longer than 60 seconds. I’m pretty sure my skill twig isn’t even truly optimized.

I should've shown my gear, but my gear was terrible, it was a leveling speedrun so I didn't have anything good (except my boots which rolled a greater affix of movement speed)

Some of the 5 times in a row tempering are a bit suspicious. Surely Blizzard wouldn't program it to do that often.
Randomness is notoriously challenging to model in software, but I agree it feels like you roll the same thing several times in a row way too often. I think it’d be fine if there was a way to gain more tempering rolls on an item. Either via gold or some other currency. It doesn’t feel good to get a godly item then watch it become useless due to horrendous RNG
I personally think it would be better if you rolled 5 times THEN picked the best from a list at the end
All i learned in the first 40 lvs is sorc dmg is beyond trash and trying to make it work is a waste of time.

Compared to nobody playing the entire season at all, id say this is a step in the right direction. Its also kind of unfair to compare regular gameplay with Raxx, hes clearly dedicating huge chunks of time to playing, which in itself should tell you that things are slowly improving.

(necro) i have not figured out a single gd advantage of having a unique over legendary. i have a pretty good dude i can fly through pit 100 easy. I craft the grandpa two handed-sword and make it MW level 9 same as my main two weapons. and it absoultly destroys my build and overall power...
Uber uniques need a massive buff they are just dog shit compared to a good rolled double GA. they also need to be much harder to get and those stupid stones need to have a drop rate buff to summon bosses

@@treasonabledoubt7251 Im all for the use of the holy bolts, it seems against the spirit of the run to take them from his stash. He says solo self found and no precrafted gear, and while it might not have been crafted it sure was farmed on alts. I dont know anything about the speed running in this game so maybe everyone does that who tries to get the fastest time, but to me it just seems against the spirit of not using stuff from another character.
