Helpful video. But I realized that before using this cleaning technique, and kit, for a clogged printer head, it is useful to FIRST try the Epson Power Clean function (the last step in this video). I was unaware of that function. I have this printer and could not get a clean printer check after using the normal printer head cleaning step in the Epson Maintenance screen. I got black printing, but terrible color printing. I kept getting broken color lines. After viewing this video, I started with the Power Clean function and everything cleared up. I suspect the kit and technique in this video are only necessary when Power Clean does not work (i.e. seriously clogged printer head).
Came here to say the same thing. Watched the whole video first and tried the last step first and it cleared things up with the inks that wouldn’t print. Saved myself $25 for the kit. With that said, great video tho. There’s so many videos on ecotank fixes with the same useless information, none of which covered the power clean. Appreciate the video.
I tried doing a power clean and filled the levels and when I tried to run power clean, it would say the levels are low….so I’m running a head cleaning again
I appreciate this video and nice clear instructions. However, for my situation...I just did the power clean mentioned at 7:12. This completely resolved my issue with the printer not printing color and lousy black and white printing. After the power clear function, I also ran the nozzle check, vertical alignment, and horizontal alignment. It's printing like new again and with no messy cleaning. Not sure if this will work for others, but it's worth a try before indulging in the more arduous cleaning process.
I also did the power cleaning and quickly resolved my issues. Others quoted not to do the power cleaning quite often. Thanks for your video though cause I did not know about the power cleaning functions until you mentioned it.
Hello all: I'm glad I found this gentleman's youtube for EPSON's printer issues. I followed his instructions, ordered his cleaning kit, and did exactly what he did-except I did used gloves. It's important to follow through with the full instructions. Which includes doing the power clean at the end. I'm 68 and it's good to see how smart and helpful our youth have become. I saved about $400 by following this young man's instructions. Consider purchasing the kit rather than using household items like gasoline, vinegar, dish soap, liquid Tide, bleach etc. (just fun'in). Buy the kit and get it done right the first time. Greg G Apple Valley, Ca
Greg, thank you for the comment! I am glad you were able to save all that money and found the video helpful. I am glad you used gloves I have the bad habit of not using them. Thank you again and God Bless.
Just spilled this chemical on skin and leather and it destroyed the latter, so gloves are a wise choice. No info on what the chemical is on either the webpage or on Amazon, so...
Hello sir, I refilled all of the ink in the tank, but the BLUE/[C] part is not clear, so do I need to clean all of the ink pipe or tubes in this case??? Could you please advise me on what I can do? I also refill all emty sports with ink. Also, do I need to purchase any type of printer cleaner? I appreciate it, sir.
He does the video in the wrong order: 1. Run regular cleaning a couple times 2. If no work, then do deep clean Only then if both fail should you buy a cleaning kit.
I have a question I cleaned my printer head, but now I have nothing coming out when i do a nozzle check nothing is printing my paper? That's number 1 - #2 is The Black ink has a ! at the top of it why? I know it needs Ink in it. HELP NEW TO SUBILMATION!!!
Hello. On my ET-2750, the nozzle check shows everything is printing correctly, but when I print anything, there is one color missing.😢. Please help. Thank you.
I finished everything like you said. When I got to power cleaning my printer repeatedly said error 000043. I don’t see anything jammed in the printer and it has paper.
Thanks for the video, still having problems. I bought the cleaning kit. I was missing some cyan lines and a little of one black line. I flushed them both as directed with the cleaning solution and reconnected and double checked the connections. I did a Power Clean. The black improved, but now I have no cyan or yellow, I had no problems with yellow before. I did a second Power Clean with no improvement. What's next?
After doing all these steps multiple times over a month period and wasting sooooo much ink......it did not help AT ALL. I am assuming the actual tubes/lines are clogged but cant find a video or instruction on to fix that. Will see if can reorder new ones ugh 😑
Hello Brandon I spend the summere in a rehab hospital. after an accident Henceforth my ET 2760 won't print .Because the nozzles are plugged. My printer is fairly new .So this is a bummer. If I look into my printer there is a white type of plastic in the centre . Is that the place to use the blotter type of paper? I have trouble to put this folded paper towel into this position. Should I remove the factory installed platic strip first? Let me know .Greetings :Herman Rombouts.
Hi Herman, glad you are back home. Yes you want the blotted paper or paper towel to be right under the print head. As long as it is directly under you are good. You shouldn't have to remove anything to get this result, best of luck!
Well, I bought the kit... I'm sad to say, that I had high hopes for this... My BK is not flushing at all. When I first started, I had a difficult time seeing into the printer to hook the hose up to the BK nozzle. So, I started with the Y. I got 15ml through, and then the hose blew off, losing 5ml. I got the extra moisture mopped up, and went on to the M. I got all 20ml through. I got to the C, and again, I got 15ml through, and then the hose blew off, again losing 5ml. Before moving on, I mopped up the extra moisture and moved onto the BK... The nozzle wasn't even flushing, that the pressure immediately blew off the hose. I lost 5ml... I reattached the hose... Again, it blew off losing another 5ml... Since I was down 10ml, I decided to use the additional fluid that was in the syringe to go ahead and flush 5ml through the Y and another 5ml through the C, as the hose had blew off before... After that, I refilled the syringe with the remaining ml of fluid. However, there wasn't enough fluid to completely fill the syringe. So, it left some air in the syringe. I thought this would be perfect, because the air allowed me to do a pumping action with the plunger. Now that I had air in the syringe, it allowed me to do some pumping to try and agitate whatever was clogging the nozzle. Still nothing... At this point, I'm getting frustrated, that I emptied the liquid back into the bottle, and figured I would try reversing the clog... I attached the hose to the nozzle, and pulled the plunger. So much pressure, that it sprung back into the syringe. So, I tried again... This time when I pulled the plunger... it felt like it finally gave, that I was going to put the solution back in and push it through... Well, actually, the reason why the plunger felt like it had unclogged the nozzle, was because the syringe cracked. So, I'd have to buy another kit, to try and get it to do its job. Although the black didn't clear, I still ran a power wash... That didn't do anything to fix the issue. I now have an error message that says to contact Epson, and to turn off the printer. I most likely am out of of ink now. Although the chambers still look full of fluid ink.
Hi Brandon, I only had a black ink not printing problem on my Epson ET2710 so did your cleaning exercise and followed all the instructions, the black ink still not printing all colours absolutely fine, could it be a software problem, any advice would be most welcome, thank you for a great comprehensive video
Just watched your video and cleaned the heads. When I tried to print got nothing. So I ran the nozzle check. Again nothing. Went to do a power cleaning and now it tells me that I have an error and have to call Epson. Non-printing features are available????? E-01 031006 are numbers showing up on the screen. Hoping you had some ideas before I try to call Epson.
As I was reassembling the print cover I lost/dropped the screw for the print head cover down into the bottom of the machine. Do I need to replace it? if so, do you know its size?
Well ....I did it.....ran the power cleaning......ran the nozzle check page a couple of times. Seemed to do the trick.....until I ran the nozzle check a third time .....then it gave me an error message to contact Epson due to a print head issue. So then I decided....well let me just try to copy something.....that's when it shut the power off and it won't come back on. 🙁
Thank you! I did everything because my printer was only printing black even when the other colors were full and now is working perfectly! I really appreciate your help!
I need help with my printer please! .. my black prints spotty . The words come out like grainy. I tried cleaning it out with solution.. what else could be wrong ?
Epson tells you not to run a power cleaning because it can damage the printer. So what is the truth. I need to do procedure in the video but I'm worried about the power cleaning. I mean, why do Epson have a power cleaning mode available if it's not good for the printer?
I understand your concern. You have to decide how bad the problem is. If the printer is t currently working what’s the difference. However I have never personally seen a power cleaning damage a printer. You just want to use the power cleaning sparingly.
In this case, you will want to warm up the cleaning fluid over the stove and reapply hot fluid you will want to apply steady pressure, but don't force anything.
I had full tanks of ink then came back months later they were all empty.before I buy your kit would you no where all my ink went ?and before that my color was only printing red.
You do want to use power cleaning sparingly. But you don't want to avoid using it altogether because it can't help you solve the problem you're having.
Brandon, I happened across this video and am so glad I did as I was about to toss my $400 printer. Took a chance and bought the $25 investment in the "Best Printers" solution and it paid often!!!! Instruction was perfect and I followed it straight through, pausing at every step to perform. You are awesome and hope others with the problem will try your solution before ditching expensive printers. Thanks again!!!
Thanks much ; detailed step by step method and recommendations - worked for me exactly as shown -- no issues or challenges ; family happy now - they are printing to color again
Help!!! Absolutely NONE of my colors are printing at all. I've tried the nozzle check several times. But I can't do the power cleaning. For some reason, every time I turn off my printer it starts in "Printer Mode", and I can't access the power cleaning module. I've tried several times, and if I can't run the power cleaning, then I can't do a full cleaning with the solution. My printer has been printing at all for months!
Thank you so much for making this video! My printer was printing with only black ink. It took two tries to unclog the print heads for the CMY, and my printer is working perfectly now.
Hi there, my printer was only printing in black. I cleaned the colors as closely to the video as I could, I tried really hard to follow the video exactly. I also did the power clean after. Now I’m trying to print a nozzle check page and none of the colors are printing at all. Please help!
I did this exactly as you explained and now my printer is stuck in inspection mode and showing a Fatal Error Code: 031006. I'm extremely upset and concerned that my printer is now broken. I would appreciate help to resolve this issue.
At this point you want to turn off the printer and leave it off for about 24 to 48 hours. If you did not allow 24 hour. After the cleaning, that may be the source of your problem on the cleaning kit that I sell, there are instructions specifically stating that you must wait 24 hours before powering your printer back on I hope that you follow those instructions.
I did everything you did step by step and I printed the verification page and it gives me the four colors correctly cut off it didn't work for me What can I do more?
I was skeptical, but this works! Cleared up our printer that suddenly stopped printing magenta a few months after we bought it. Do not skip the 10 minute power clean at the end. Thanks for the guide and simple-to-use product.
Brandon, thanks for this. Yup, this all worked after 97% failure on all colors. Generally speaking we tend to always print in B&W unless color necessary. In the future I think we will employ more regular use of color as perhaps the long periods between using color probably leads to older ink sitting in there and clogging up. Couple of notes I came up with along the way. - How much paper towel? I had success with a whole 1/2 sheet. You know how some paper towels come perforated as half sheets? I used one of these. I tried 2x 1/2 to make a full regular sheet but it bound up under the nozzle head carriage despite good folding etc. Be careful you don't have any torn edges facing up as these can tear and leave bits that could I assume get in the works. - 1 full 20 ml syringe is a lot! So I switched out the paper towel for each color. And also used a dry one in between changing to dry things off and soak up any left overs. - I also moved the carriage along the towel as I pushed the syringe. This spread the 20ml out along the whole towel and it was still soaked! But in doing this you can see how dense the color is at the beginning and confirm that by the end it's relatively clear of color. - NOTE - with the linked 100m bottle and 4 passes (Blk,Y,MC) you're pretty much done with the bottle. So Brandon's note of Flush as much as you want only holds if you bought more than 1 bottle. 1 bottle gets you 1 flush on each color, with a bit left over if you need to hit 1 particular color again. - But as I said, with only a couple of dashes of magenta showing up on the 1st Nozzle check, every color came back to 100% after following your good instructions. Thanks Again!
It worked!! However, after I flushed the ink jets, I noticed that I still had the power on!! 😳 Would be smart to remember to unplug the printer prior to flushing the ink jets, as there is quite a bit of liquids involved.
Hey Brandon, I started cleaning the heads and the 1st color "Black" is completely clogged. I went to the other colors and they all cleaned out great. I keep working on the black by just using air in the syringe to push air in and pull. But it doesn't budge. I keep going back to using the cleaning solution and same thing, no movement. Maybe laxatives or fiber to clean out he plumbing? LOL How do I get that to clear out? Thank you
@@godlycawder548 Yes I did. I did 3 steps. I emptied the syringe and just pushed forced air into the hole and pulled back on the plunger to suck air and repeated several times. That didn't work at that time. I then put some of the cleaning water in the syringe and attached it to the hole and let that solution soak from above for a day. I also put that water on the folded paper towel that is under the printer heads. I made it pretty wet and let that moisture work on the printer heads from underneath for about 2 days. I came back to it and used the air in the syringe and pushed and pulled and it released it. I kept doing that a few times. Then i put the solution in the syringe and pushed that through. Constantly pulling the paper towel through to a new dry spot. Then I got a fresh paper towel folded into fourths, got it wet and pulled back and forth under the print heads to rub them. Then i did the same thing with a dry paper towel. Now it works perfectly. Good luck. Be patient. I only spent about 10 minutes a day working on it.
@@BestPrinters Thank you. Would it have worked if it was completely stopped up? Zero solution was getting through. I did end up unclogging it. I emptied the syringe and just pushed forced air into the hole and pulled back on the plunger to suck air and repeated several times. That didn't work at that time. I then put some of the cleaning water in the syringe and attached it to the hole and let that solution soak from above for a day. You have just solved a problem I had. I just bought the ET-2760 yesterday. The instructions that came with the printer are lacking - being kind. When I initialized the printer I didn't have enough ink in the reservoirs. The reservoirs attached to the secondary nozzles never filled. I filled the reservoirs and couldn't correct the problem until I saw your explanation of Power Cleaner on this video. I gave you a thumbs up and subscribed. Do you have a video that talks about resetting the password for wireless printing?
Thank you for subscribing and liking the video! I am glad you found out what you needed to do. Currently I do not have a video on resetting passwords for wireless printing.
What can I do about the Printer not refilling one of it's cartridges inside. All colors are full except yellow. It's completely empty. Only Ink Charge in wicreset helped so far, but is there a better solution?
Well got the cleaning solution from Amazon followed the steps but apparently so clogged I couldn’t push the solution through. 😢 not sure what I can do now. I have done several nozzle checks and cleaning and 2 power cleans before attempting the solution.
Your tutorial helped, but I was able to fix it by topping up all my inks. Then running the Nozzle check, head cleaner a few times. I unclogged my colours for me. I will remember to print at least once a week going forward.
Hi Brandon! Thanks for your video. I have a question; my 2760 doesn’t feed up the ink from the tank through the tube to the cartridge. I have full tank of ink but my cartridge is empty. How can I fix this problem. Thank you 🙏
Additional comment. Only my Blue wasn't printing. I followed your video, but I only put a few drops on the Blue nozzle. Instead of replacing all the ink. This fixed my problem with Blue. I didn't run the Deep Cleaning.
my issue was not black. but other colors Hi I performed the process as described and the black was clogged. I cleaned the rest of the colors to. Now nothing is printing. Ink is full and I did a power clean. I sent some pictures that use heavy ink and they are blank. I will wait the 12 hours now. Any advice before i throw this away. ET-2750.
I appreciate the video, but it did me absolutely no good. All 3 colors were not working properly (black was OK). I followed the video and flushed them as indicated - even though some minor steps were missing such as how did the printer head move by itself from center to left. It would have been nice to know all of the items required ahead of time such as the screwdriver and flashlight. I know you said watch it all the way through first, but still a list of required items would be very helpful. And for some reason I cannot perform a power clean on my ET-2760 printer. The power and help button together did not work. It was like just hitting the power on button. The power clean function under maintenance did not work either. It only told me to go to the website for support. This seems idiotic to me. In all very frustrating process with little to no results for me personally. I would say that gloves would be helpful if you do not want inked up fingers as the cleaning process became very messy in general. Gotta go as I'm off to buy a new printer. Hopefully this will work for you. UPDATE: As frustrating as the process was, I read somewhere to wait 24 hours to see if it worked. I waited until the next day and tried it and it printed pretty close to normal. My apologies for the rant above, but I would suggest adding this info to your video. Still a frustrating process if there is any missing info. Thank you for the help. Never did get the power cleaning to work though.
You make it look easy! first off, how to get paper towel under the piece that moves. it won't fit, I can't slide it under! Second, how to fill the syringe. As soon as I fill any liquid it runs out the long tube! Third, how to get tube over the place it is to attach or clean, too tight. I am super frustrate!
Diane I procrastinated to clean my printer for several months (my tech guy said to get rid of the printer). So, I finally went through the steps and it all went very well. When I tried to do the power cleaning it wouldn't work, so I reviewed the steps, you need to ensure your ink levels are more than 3/4 full. Once I filled my tanks, the power cleaning proceeded. Thank you for this solution, you saved me from buying another printer.
Thank you! Mine was missing lines when printing in black ink. The maintenance setting to clean the print nozzle worked for me this time. I am saving your video incase I ever need it. A friend warned me that you need to print often on these machines so that they do not clog. I'm giving a final exam tomorrow, and I can't count on the printer working after I commute in, so I want to make sure that I have them printed. I was imagining a trip to Costco. Your video rocks! Thanks!
I have tube attached but cannot push any liquid through with the syringe, it won't push through. Also cant fit paper towel all the way under the portion that slides, no room, won't slide under.
Hello ! I did the exact cleaning as you , and when i put my epson through powerhouse cleaning, it turned off during and then it was kind of warm inside, now its not turning on , any advice ?
This worked to fix my printer. Is there a refill for the solution? I have another epson printer, that needs the same maintenance, and have the kit, just need more solution.
I followed along and now my printer won't turn on. I made sure I did not over do it on the solution.. I am at a loss. Please help! I have even tried a different power cord!
I have white lines for all four colors on my ET-2760 (sublimation inks). I have done numerous printhead cleanings. last night i did a power clean, but still have the lines. Can i execute this cleaning procedure and do another power clean? I read where you should not do two power cleans....
I thought my printer was total loss. Took a couple days to get the kit. All colors were bad and black was starting to skip lines. Process went according to plan and now it it fine. I would like to see Mr. O'Neal perform this operation with his big hands.
Quick question: I just purchased new ink and I am still getting blank pages. So I'm going to buy your product. If I remove my new ink cartridges from my Workforce WF-100 can I reuse the new cartridges? Will they charge again??
My black ink still isn’t printing and it looks like there’s no black ink in the “default cartridge“. I warmed the solution & did a power cleaning 3x and replaced the maintenance box. The other colors print perfect now, whereas they had broken lines. But, the black ink seems worse now as if I used all the ink up, even though the tank is full. Any help appreciated? Thank you :)
You can actually remove the default cartidge and push solution through it as well. That might do the trick, then repeat the power cleaning, after reinstalling.
Hi Brandon, I was disappointed in your video and kit because it does not show me how to access the printer head on the ET 4700. Can you please explain this as I am not able to use your kit without taking the scanner bed off to access the print head. Thanks
This simply did not work. I have gone through the entire bottle of cleaning solution following this multiple times and am actually worse off than when I started. Do you know how the print head can be replaced? I can't find instructions to do that.
I hope you read my comment. I have an Epson ET4700 My problem is with adding ink. I can not add the black ink. It seems the clog is getting the ink into the ecotank. When I try to add black in, it just goes all over my printer and dripping down onto my desk causing a huge mess. I need to have expert advice. This Printer is just 1 year old. I'm buying your cleaning kit hoping it will help with my black.

Thank you so much for mentioning to power clean first. It worked without needing to use the cleaning solution.

Although the black didn't clear, I still ran a power wash... That didn't do anything to fix the issue. I now have an error message that says to contact Epson, and to turn off the printer. I most likely am out of of ink now. Although the chambers still look full of fluid ink.
Message me on Amazon I will get you a new kit.
Hi Brandon, I only had a black ink not printing problem on my Epson ET2710 so did your cleaning exercise and followed all the instructions, the black ink still not printing all colours absolutely fine, could it be a software problem, any advice would be most welcome, thank you for a great comprehensive video
It is definitely the black nozzle, make sure it is fully cleaned and run a power cleaning.
If the printer is under warranty you should go that route.
As I was reassembling the print cover I lost/dropped the screw for the print head cover down into the bottom of the machine. Do I need to replace it? if so, do you know its size?
Yes make sure to replace, you will need to buy a multi size small electronics srew kit from Amazon.
Try resetting the printer, unplug it and leave it off for an hour then power back on.
Thank you! I did everything because my printer was only printing black even when the other colors were full and now is working perfectly! I really appreciate your help!
Awesome!
I need help with my printer please! .. my black prints spotty . The words come out like grainy. I tried cleaning it out with solution.. what else could be wrong ?
After using the kit also run a power cleaning. If you are still having issues after that then try warming up the cleaning solution after application.
I guess I'm the 5% that didn't work. sucks after spending $25 on cleaning product and $45 on ink!
Request a refund.
I have your Best Printers cleaning kit, but the lid on my ET2803 won't open fully so that I can work inside Does anyone know how to gwt it fully open?
There should be some screws around the scanner that need to be removed.
Brandon, Why do the ink windows on my Epson ET-2750 always look full? Never drops down. Are the windows stained with ink?
That is very much possible. Or you are experiencing a miracle like the woman that kept pouring out oil into the vessels.
Hi Brandon i was wondering if this method works for an epson ET-15000 converted to eco solvent ink??
Yes it will!
So my print is clogged from the beginning of the tube of the blue ink. How can I fix that?
In this case, you will want to warm up the cleaning fluid over the stove and reapply hot fluid you will want to apply steady pressure, but don't force anything.
I had full tanks of ink then came back months later they were all empty.before I buy your kit would you no where all my ink went ?and before that my color was only printing red.
Wow, that is strange, I suppose it all seeped into your maintenance box.
I have read its not a good idea to do a power cleaning its bad for the printer. Is this true? I am getting ready to clean my printer .
You do want to use power cleaning sparingly. But you don't want to avoid using it altogether because it can't help you solve the problem you're having.
can not get to work! black rubber stopper that should push cleaner will not go back into syringe to get to print head, i,m stuck
Return the current kit and purchase a new one.
Connie, I am so glad to hear the kit worked for you! It is a great investment as you said!
How do I do that?
Hey Brandon, I have a Epson 2720 and it’s giving me a hard time to open it. Can you please help?
Did it work with my et-2800? I need problems with my black. Thank you.
Yes
Any tips on what to do if you still have a color that won’t print after flushing and running a power clean?
You will need to repeat the entire cleaning process.
I cannot push any solution through my black. Is there another way to unclog it?
You can warm up the cleaning solution and reapply warmed up fluid.
Im gonna try this on my ET -2750 the Magenta is not working at all since 1 month.
Yes try it.
Can I attempt to run a power clean before purchasing your product to see if it will work?
Absolutely!
Thanks much ; detailed step by step method and recommendations - worked for me exactly as shown -- no issues or challenges ; family happy now - they are printing to color again
Great to hear! Consider subscribing to my channel and leaving a 5 star review on Amazon.
@@BestPrinters - I had already did the review on Amazon ; just subscribed -- regards
After my husband use this product, the black does not work at all now. Any suggestions why. It was working at about 85% before he use the product. 😢
You guys will now need to run a power cleaning.
I just did one but still no black ugh. What could be the issue?
Brandon, I converted my Epson 2720 to sublimation. Right now my printer doesn't work. Will your cleaner work on sublimation ink?
Yes it will clear the printhead, if that is what you are looking to do.
Thank you- I believe they are badly clogged
Another alternative to the power cleaning is to just run a printhead cleaning several times under the maintenance options.
@@BestPrinters thank you!
Thank you so much for making this video! My printer was printing with only black ink. It took two tries to unclog the print heads for the CMY, and my printer is working perfectly now.
Awesome!
I did this but now, while doing the power cleaning it is giving me an error code of 031006 - which could be a mother board fry?!!? HELP!!!
Try resetting the printer.
@@BestPrinters how do I do that?
Hi there, my printer was only printing in black. I cleaned the colors as closely to the video as I could, I tried really hard to follow the video exactly. I also did the power clean after. Now I’m trying to print a nozzle check page and none of the colors are printing at all. Please help!
Yes, please run a power cleaning, until the color returns.
Can I just take those plastic pieces out and push the solution through?
Yes.
After the cleaning, that may be the source of your problem on the cleaning kit that I sell, there are instructions specifically stating that you must wait 24 hours before powering your printer back on I hope that you follow those instructions.
yes I did@@BestPrinters
I did and after several days I'm still stuck in a loop of check fax mode or Maintenance SP mode. @@BestPrinters
I did everything you did step by step and I printed the verification page and it gives me the four colors correctly cut off it didn't work for me What can I do more?
Did you run a power cleaning?
@@BestPrinters yes sir I did it and I did it like 50+ sheets
What happens if I can barely push the fluid through
You need to warm up the solution.
Thank you so much! I purchased the kit and did exactly what you said. It’s working beautifully.
That is awesome!
Thank you for the great Tipps 🎉
You are so welcome!
I was skeptical, but this works! Cleared up our printer that suddenly stopped printing magenta a few months after we bought it. Do not skip the 10 minute power clean at the end. Thanks for the guide and simple-to-use product.
Thanks for sharing!
How odd, mine stopped printing magenta too, but the power cleaning worked.
Something popped off while moving the printing thing. Please help figure out how to put it back on.
Try googling a picture of the Epson Et 2760 printhead and replicate what is in the picture.
@@BestPrinters okay I'll try that. Thank you
What do I do if the cleaning solution is not going through the last nozzle of the Epson 2760 printer. 3 out of 4 no prob
What you want to do is warm up the cleaning fluid, I have a few videos on my channel showing you how to do that safely.
@BestPrinters Done but now it's reading PRINTER ERROR 310060. What do I do now?
Its not letting me go any ware. Stuck on error
Yes, your notes are a very good guidance when it comes to fluid control. It can become messy if you dont remediate the way you did. Excellent job!
It worked!!
However, after I flushed the ink jets, I noticed that I still had the power on!! 😳
Would be smart to remember to unplug the printer prior to flushing the ink jets, as there is quite a bit of liquids involved.
Great, yes absolutely you want the printer off next time.
How did you get the top of the printer off so you can have access? when I open mine it is only open to a narrow degree and it is hard to reach inside.
You may have to remove some screws.
I did exactly how it was shown and my colors still come up in stripes. Help
You will need to repeat the process.
@@BestPrinters I did 3 days in a row now, I'm frustrated
Hey Brandon, I started cleaning the heads and the 1st color "Black" is completely clogged. I went to the other colors and they all cleaned out great. I keep working on the black by just using air in the syringe to push air in and pull. But it doesn't budge. I keep going back to using the cleaning solution and same thing, no movement. Maybe laxatives or fiber to clean out he plumbing? LOL How do I get that to clear out? Thank you
I have the same problem, did you ver figure out what to do?
Hi Marco, you need to warm up the solution and reapply.
@@BestPrinters Thank you. Would it have worked if it was completely stopped up? Zero solution was getting through. I did end up unclogging it. Do you have a video on changing the belt?
Sorry I dont
Would it work on the epson 8550?
Yes!
hello after doing everything you explained deep cleaning still does not print black and only shows very few lines
Try also running a power cleaning.
I already did it and it tells me that after 12 hours I can do it again
I did several head cleaning and alignment
Did everything but now I have a error message of hardware failure
Try resetting the printer.
@@BestPrinters how do I reset it? Any button I press just says invalid
My printer is 70% full of ink, once you flush the solution in, how do you get the ink out or can you proceed with the ink in the tanks?
When you run a printhead cleaning or nozzle cleaning the ink will be pushed back into the system.
Can I do that process to each color?
Yes definitely
Your tutorial helped, but I was able to fix it by topping up all my inks. Then running the Nozzle check, head cleaner a few times. I unclogged my colours for me. I will remember to print at least once a week going forward.
My black still does not work after trying the cleaning fluid. Ran the cleaning process still no black. Updated firmware not sure what's to do next. 😢
Very easy to follow! My printer is cleaning right now... wish me luck..it hasnt printed a perfect nozzle check since i got it. Thank you!!
Glad to hear it!
So what was the outcome?
@@soniarivera3866 It worked!
When doing the power cleaning where does the old ink and cleaning fluid residue go? Is there a tank that fills up and needs to be cleaned out?
You make it look easy! first off, how to get paper towel under the piece that moves. it won't fit, I can't slide it under! Second, how to fill the syringe. As soon as I fill any liquid it runs out the long tube! Third, how to get tube over the place it is to attach or clean, too tight. I am super frustrate!
Millions thanks
It works👍
Of course!
Diane
I procrastinated to clean my printer for several months (my tech guy said to get rid of the printer).
Great job!
Thanks!
I am glad this video helped, thanks for watching!
I have tube attached but cannot push any liquid through with the syringe, it won't push through.
Also cant fit paper towel all the way under the portion that slides, no room, won't slide under.
Good vid. Gonna try it and see.
nice
Hello ! I did the exact cleaning as you , and when i put my epson through powerhouse cleaning, it turned off during and then it was kind of warm inside, now its not turning on , any advice ?
not happy. frustrated.
Message me on Amazon, I will help.
What do you do when it’s the horizontal alignment that’s off and all the choices for the horizontal alignment test page are bad?
I went in the next day after I did all this..... and got e1 error meaning your printer is f$&ked she gave me a msg of death error 306081 or something
WHat do you do if this didn't bring back the colors? I have black & nothing else.
I have white lines for all four colors on my ET-2760 (sublimation inks). I have done numerous printhead cleanings. last night i did a power clean, but still have the lines. Can i execute this cleaning procedure and do another power clean? I read where you should not do two power cleans....
Yes you can use the kit and then do as many power cleaning as you need to. As long as your ink is full.
I thought my printer was total loss. Took a couple days to get the kit. All colors were bad and black was starting to skip lines.
Process went according to plan and now it it fine.
I would like to see Mr. O'Neal perform this operation with his big hands.
Awesome, yes I would like to see that lol
I followed your instructions to a tee, after the power cleaning the printer now has an error, mother board or printhead cable. Printer is now toast!
This is one of the most helpful videos!! Love it is to the point and step by step! Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
Quick question: I just purchased new ink and I am still getting blank pages. So I'm going to buy your product. If I remove my new ink cartridges from my Workforce WF-100 can I reuse the new cartridges? Will they charge again??
The answer is yes, you can recharge them!
I know that this is an order video but hopefully u see this what if I can’t get the solution to go thru the nozzle head?
Thanks
I will work on getting you a video for the 4700 model later this year. A lot of people are asking about it.
This simply did not work. I have gone through the entire bottle of cleaning solution following this multiple times and am actually worse off than when I started. Do you know how the print head can be replaced? I can't find instructions to do that.
Simply run a power cleaning, you will get all your color back.
My 2760 has never had good color. Has anyone else had this problem? It only prints in black & white now! Very frustrating!
Sorry
I hope you read my comment. I have an Epson ET4700 My problem is with adding ink. I can not add the black ink. It seems the clog is getting the ink into the ecotank. When I try to add black in, it just goes all over my printer and dripping down onto my desk causing a huge mess. I need to have expert advice. This Printer is just 1 year old. I'm buying your cleaning kit hoping it will help with my black.
In this case I would check if it is still under warranty and get a replacement.
