This program is an example of multi--cam editing where eight cameras and a separate audio track have been synched and edited to create the final hour long music special.
Funeral for my Dad today. I was searching.. & I found what I needed here. I heard your voice & was so comforted. My Dad was a Methodist Minister in Central Illinois married 68yrs. But I know some things that were not free for him to publicize...Pete Seeger was his favorite! I didn't know as a teenager ..I just didn't understand. (Appreciate) How lucky I was/am. There were 15+ people today giving testimony of his love for every person he met. It was his constant smile & TRUE belief in a better day. Don Quixote with my mother for 68 yrs....I've given up trying to understand. It's too beautiful & heartbreaking.

I had the honour to be the tour manager for Charlie on his Irish tour a couple of years back. He's great company and I loved every minute of it - and ah, to see him play every night too -what a BONUS!!!!!

I had William Elliot Whitmore playing in the background while doing homework, and this came on via autoplay. Within 30 seconds of the music starting, I stopped homework, and for the past half hour I've just been sitting here absorbing how incredible this guy is. So much talent.
Exactly how I found Charlie. WEW is still my favorite, but there's plenty of room for others.
I've been listening to him all day and in less than 24 hours, he's become my new favorite artist

I'm honored to be able to say I've seen him live twice now, here in Minocqua, Wisconsin. He's amazing. I even got a hug. :)

I know that it's an hour long video, but people really ought to take a listen to this concert because it is straight up phenomenal. Seriously, just like through it on in the background as you study/work and let the good, folky vibes envelope you.

I found him about 3 years ago and still can't believe he isn't something bigger. He has one of the best souls for any musician I have ever found.
Seen him 3 times now, twice in Hancock, Michigan and again in Denver, Colorado. Heading back to Denver next weekend to see him again.

A beloved Duluth Minnesota artist. Whenever he plays it's packed. I've seen him dozens of times and I've only paid once for the trampled by turtles 2018 show at bayfront. Charlie is a true gift to duluthians. Just saw him on the peer at Glensheen 3 weeks ago from a canoe in Lake superior. Another beautiful free 2 hour concert.

So amazing! I listened to this though and through over and over again. This man is magical. His guitar playing matches up exactly to how I play my harmonica. I started to play along but quickly set i down to pay full attention. Ao thankful for this man. Thank you.

Hally Wood wrote "Worried Blues," not Guthrie (who I love as well) as Parr notes. Never the less, Parr does a FANTASTIC cover of it!!!

Marti Garcés I had never heard of Charlie Parr until now. I tuned in the Friday night folk music radio program from Tuscaloosa tonight and heard a track of his and my mouth just dropped open. I knew I had to find out more. On UA-cam I found more of his music, and I am blown away. I need to get his albums!

A lot of the conversation along with the string breaking during the performance got lost in editing. In order to make this program fit within its allotted time, non-essential elements were removed. During the performance while he
was tuning for the next song it snapped and Charlie removed the string so it wouldn't interfere. How do I know? I was manning the camera that captured the tight shots from Charlie's right of the strings, fret board and of him singing. I also edited the program.

Saw this guy a couple of weeks ago at The Ryman. Flash guitar player (and a cool washboard guy too), but unfortunately we could hardly follow the performance because the crowd was so rude. Talked and paid no attention through the whole performance. Maybe its a millennial thing in Nashville, but still, the rudest concert crowd I've ever seen.
