I think I shed a tear at the end of this vlog. The way Joe looked at Niomi on the plane... 💗 She said, "I'm ready now, I'm excited" and in that moment you could see him thinking, "how lucky am I that I am engaged to this beautiful, intelligent, woman who is supporting me in my career". I'm sure he is just as supportive of her with her career too. Lovely couple.

I didn't realise you were fully moving out of your house, I thought you would keep it and stay there when you come back. I totally understand why you feel anxious for the move, it's a huge thing. I hope it all went well!

I myself moved to India recently and can understand how overwhelming it can feel to make such a big move. I hope that your stress improves quickly and that your move goes smoothly. I always recommend watching Brooklyn when feeling homesick, it brings a sense of comfort to see similar feelings onscreen and can make you feel a little less alone when you're away from home. Sending good thoughts your way!

I gave away my WHOLE possessions when I moved in with my lovely partner, apart from an antique chest and a chest of draws. I dont miss the "things" but I did grieve a little for the "me" that lived a life with those things. Keep the important stuff Niomi, they are a part of your story xxx

Just at the beginning but how you’re feeling is so normal it’s a massive life change. You may love it you may not but it’s an experience you’ll never forget.

Oh good luck with your first few weeks in a new country! I’m sure it will be a bit tough but definitely memorable and exciting at the same time. I moved from New Zealand to Canada just over a year ago too so can relate to this video so much. Looking forward to your next video from India!!!

I’m 46 now and can recall 4 major anxiety attacks in my life. Boy oh boy, I wish my anxiety attacks were as smooth as yours seemed.

Everything you've gone through with moving, I've literally just done the same - on Jan 19, my husband and I moved from Australia to Glasgow so I totally get it. It's so overhwelming when you suddenly realise exactly how much needs to be done, how many things you need to remember to do, to sort, to organise.....it's crazy. So I hope that your first week in India was lovely, relaxed and amazing - and entirely worth it xxx

You’ve got this ❤️ Moving continent is a big adjustment and when I loved, I found it really difficult before I started to find my “home” places. Such as coffee shops I loved, parks I loved walking in etc. Be curious and look for your home spots ❤️

It's absolutely normal to feel like that. Its a huge deal, your moving home and going to a new country thats super far. Its stressful, sad, nostalgic, theres fear/uncertainty and excitement! You are saying goodbye to your home, your town family and friends. Don't apologise for feeling all the feels, your human and feel emotions. I've done a move before and its so intense. Good thing is you having joes help and support. It will bring you both closer xxxx all the best hun

I fully get it! I moved to America last April on my own and WOW did i underestimate the emotional rollercoaster I would go on! Trust me when I say - it will be a crazy whirlwind but when you look back in a few months once your settled you will be SO proud of how strong you are!

Oh hun. When I say I feel your pain, I really do. I moved to the Congo (literally the day after your move!) having never been here before. The stress in that week before was UNBELIEVABLE. All those emotions and frustrations you were feeling were totally normal. I hope you’re settling in well to your new adventure!
