One of the most beautiful moments in four seasons of Doctor Who. Doesn't matter how many times I watch Series 4 this song always makes me cry with joy.
We need more episodes like this, Midnight, and The Waters Of Mars.
And we need to see more Ood, possibly one of the best alien species seen in the series.

I wish The Ninth Doctor got to see The Ood with Rose sadly he sacrificed his life, to save his best friend's, who gave him a life in the first place after the trauma of the Time War.

I honestly wish they had played this during the scene in the 50th Anniversary where all of The Doctors come together to save Gallifrey

As I'm writing this, it's 9:52 December 31st 2020, and I'm making up a couple of playlists for the discord New Years Eve party my friends and I will be having, since we can't meet in person. The theme: a "slightly darker" playlist to be played before midnight, and a "lighter, more uplifting" one for after midnight. Guess which one this is going in? :)

This music really was the climax of the first four years. I remember when I first heard the song, the Doctor had won his greatest victory since the Time War and the WHOLE WORLD was united, finally seeing him for what he was. It was like (at the time) the dead Time Lords were singing the Doctor's praises, a benediction for this ultimate victory over evil...him winning forgiveness and absolution of the past. Still brings me to tears.
Never seen the doctor more happy than in this episode watching ppl help pliot the tardis
It warmed my heart seeing the companions all flying the TARDIS. It is certainly one of my favorite episodes of all time.
Imagine the final Doctor dying to this song when Doctor Who finally ends...

the TARDIS was dragging Earth back to it's place, I had MEGA goosebumps, it was magnificent, I was already like "Holy crap" throughout the episode.

I miss this era of Doctor Who
I just finished bingeing every single 862 Doctor Who episodes and this was the best song in any and all of the episodes ❤

Learning the words to this song made it so much more beautiful to me. It was already a thing of great hope and triumph, but learning exactly what they were saying brings me to tears every time I hear it now. They're not just calling one another to be better than their oppressors and not stoop to revenge and genocide; they're using a specific word -- 'humane' -- that also calls humanity to be better, too. They're saying, "We know you are more than what you have done to us, that you as a species are not evil and are capable of great goodness, and we are consciously choosing to give you the chance to prove it."
This scene overloaded my brain and shorted it out so I can never appreciate a bunch of characters getting together and saving the day like this ever again.
Exactly. Nothing ever the same is it? The best scene in the whole series; and no other show can pull it off like they did! When this season ended I think the rest was just .... drab. xx

both scenes, moving the earth and saving gallifrey, are the most huge things the doctors done and each deserves its own music. this was perfect at the time

I've been listening to this on a loop for an hour now. haven't stopped crying.
I think all of the doctors have been unique and amazing from Christopher eccelston to Peter capaldi all have been brilliant, and the companions as well although my favourite was Donna ;)
Alex smith I haven't gotten to the twelfth yet, but you're absolutely right: every doctor (speaking only of the 2005 TV series, don't know the first yet) so far was unique and amazing ;) The companions were great so far, too.

This song helped me stay hopeful when my grandfather was getting heart surgery. A reminder to stay hopeful, that victory will come eventually. 💜

This IS a song of the Ood, so yes. The lyrics are about yearning for freedom and humane treatment of others.

From what I have read & heard - all former living doctors are on board for the special. Even Eccleston who was the last hold out.
But - as far as the former companions - not sure if any of them will be included.
But - I'm still excited as all to see that episode. Can't wait to see how they work all this in. :-)

One of the best pieces of music Everton come out of Doctor Who
Journey's End was such a fitting name for that episode. Because it really was the end of the journey for the 10th Doctor. This was the last time he'd be having an adventure with his usual companions like this. Everyone he'd met and known during his criminally short time as the Doctor went off to do their own things, and from then on it was just the Doctor, in the TARDIS, all alone, preparing for his end, an end he knew was coming but didn't want to accept.
Much like Earth returning in Journey’s End.

Turn left, The stolen earth and journeys end were definitely 3 of the 10th doctors best episodes and probably 3 of the best episodes of doctor who created

I honestly can not decide which is better out of this one, or Vale Decem in "The End of Time part 2". They're both absolutely brilliant songs, and it's very difficult to choose a favourite.

Right On Jamie! David Tennant is and ALWAYS WILL BE the one and only Doctor Who of our time! His performances, his expressions, his general nature always made me get goosebumps on this show. There is no other person that could ever surpass this brilliant man! And this song brought out so much emotion in me; so much excitement, happiness, sadness and just warm feelings - I can play this song over and over again (Well done MDragon1801!)
