My ko had a crack in the aux port but still worked I got a new street fighter edition as a backup now the ko goes where I go, interesting enough the ko and street fighter have different fx so different , I kinda like the fx on ko more
Can't argue with the PO-133! Super fun sampler. Got mine about 3 weeks ago and it's barely left my side. Getting a nice case is a must IMO. Great video! :)
How are you able to remember how to use these pocket operators? I lost the box with the instructions. I have the same one and I'm just busting it out to work with my OP1. Do you get overwhelmed making music like this?
Bro the case makes it feel like a whole different sampler. Like I said they feel fragile and I wasn't to much of a fan of that either but this case is super thick and it just makes it feel more sturdy lol
BEST way to learn how to make music/beats with these? Looking to buy a PO-20 and a PO-133 for my lil seeds and have em go crazy with them... Appreciate any input and advise on how best to have em learn these devices. oNe
I can't really speak for any other PO other than the 133 but using the step sequencer definitely helped me learn to use this sampler. It's very easy to get a groove going and I think that's the reason a lot of people really like them. The coolest thing about the PO is that you can link them up together and have them working in sync. So def the more PO you get the better lol
@@chrisgalactic haha, thanks for the reply, and based on the enthusiasm in your reply, I know I'm making the right choice here. Best way in your opinion to learn the step sequencer?
To learn the step sequencer all you do is select a sound in one of your banks. Hit the record button and that brings you to the step sequencer and hit any button 1-16 and press play
Honestly based off my research the only difference is that it comes with Street Fighter sounds and aesthetic but its basically the exact same thing. It still has 40 seconds of sampling time, functions exactly the same.
@@chrisgalactic i have two K.O's, the Street Fighter and all other PO's lol. I can highly recommend the PO Tonic or the Rhythm. It sounds really rich. Yes the Mega Man is dope too. It sounds awesome when you put reverb on it. The PO - 35 Speak can sample too. Maybe thats something for you.
@@wiggesobk I was actually thinking of getting another PO 33 lol just to eliminate that 4 track polyphony but might get the Megaman one because it looks so dope!
@@chrisgalactic yes that was the reason why i have bought it. Two K.O's are always better than one haha. The Mega Man looks absolutly beautiful. Let me know if you buy one. Peace!

Pitch-function makes it worth it alone, perfect addition to the sp
Yo I was surprised about the pitch function. It sounds so dope!
Ryu is so nice... hes always asking, "How you Ken?".
Ha I'm going to tell my mom that joke.
Been on the Internet for more than 15years, ngl, funniest shit I've ever read
Finally! A video where the reviewer isn't flying thru the button presses like they're texting on a phone... Good stuff Chris.
I'm happy to help!!

Appreciate it bro! Yeah the 133 is so gritty, love using it for sound design
Keep in mind , PO's are ESD sensitive, there is more than an aesthetic reason to get a case
8:00 when you accidentally stumble upon pure heat
Appreciate it yo!!!
Do you recommend this for beginners? Is there something more functional for a bit more? I'm looking for a DAW-less instrument...
Cool review of a really nice Pocket Operator. Question: where did you get the transparent case, which brand is that?
Sorry I'll throw the link in the description
Case is by Dich Studios. I have 4 of them and they're great. Just take your time supergluing the buttons because you only have so many extras.
Yes, I couldn't agree more!!! Everybody should buy it!!!
Even if it's just for tuning sounds it has a great pitch feature
Thanks for the hack of copying from the melodic to the drum steps. Gunna see if this chops easier like you said 🤔
Most excellent vid. Unfortunately, recent scuttlebutt says they're ending PO production... 😡😡😡

I have the PO33 and is one the funniest machines I have ever tried , I call it INSTANTLOFILIZER.
Whats the difference between the po 33 and the po 133
@@D1777YB0T if i´m not wrong, it is Street Fighter special edition with sounds from the game, and basically more sampling time.
@@D1777YB0T no difference, just screen design and tredemark (street fighter)
@@JukenFlaj does it have more sample time then ko?
No both are 40 seconds
We’re did you get your case.
Hadou Ken 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
We need a Ryu emoji!
Hello, WHERE can I buy that decksaver for the Po-133? thank you 🙂

Hi i have a question this model have the same function so po 33? Sampler, effects and other ?
Yup it's basically the same just says Street Fighter on it
@@chrisgalactic thanks. There is option to sample new sounds without erase sounds from street figther?
Hadouken 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can you record into it without connecting a mic?
Yup it has an internal microphone
I love beats and I love street fighter so I bought on but it's not worth honestly
Really why do you say that? I think for what it is it's a cool micro sampler
Yo I like that case!!!
It's dope yo and not expensive at all
@@chrisgalactic where did you get that case
Use myvolts or rechargeable batteries 😭 that poor po14
Took 3 minutes for him to start using the operator
Gotta reach my 8 minute mark some how
