i would looooooooooove to see a video from you about chord composition and progression composition! while i understand the basics of theory i find myself having a hard time applying it to a melodic chord selection and progression... even when playing guitar i can't really come up with anything more interesting that some basic chord progressions
I’d love to do something like that. But to be honest, I just throw all theory that I know out the window, and wing it by feel. I follow my intuition that tells me whether it’s boring, stale, fun. It’s all so intertwined. Like here, I upped the tempo, and then the progression got a little too crowded and I had to simplify it to match the tempo. Since I’m not very rigid in the methods that I have accumulated over the years, I’m kinda reluctant to make videos on the topic. Afraid it’ll just be vague and inconclusive. But it’s still worth considering 🌸❤️🙏🏼
Always amazing to see you having fun and being so passionate about the stuff you do! I've always loved how you can create fun/silly yet beautiful music, it's truly inspiring
EDIT: problem solved in comments Purchased! …however during import it ends with an error - “Err” displayed on PO-33. Banks 1-4 loaded and it ends during no.9… any hints what it can cause? Thank you 🙏
Hm. Dang it, the only thing I’ve seen in some circumstances is a memory full kind of situation. But I deliberately left space to avoid even coming close to that. Have you tried changing the volume of your device sending the sound?
SOLVED Looks like (probably) an issue in the dongle as I used iPad to load it from. No issues at all using mac. And now, lets cuckoo beat and try not to wake up kids :) greetings from Prague, Czechia Amazing sample pack, lot of fun. Thank you! 😊
I want hardware samplers, and I've heard of the PO-33 ko before. I eventually want to get a sp404, but I wanna try something less expensive before purchasing the 404. Is the PO-33 a good choice for my first sampler?
It’s an excellent first sampler because it sounds great, allows you to make stuff and isn’t too expensive. Not sure how the Liven Lo-Fi sampler compares - suspect it is more expensive. Korg Sample 2 is excellent too but you need to sample or get samples from elsewhere, as it can’t record. Or koala on iOS, which is great and very easy to use.
Thanks! I draw the thumbnail titles by hand. Usually just circling text shapes with the lasso tool in Pixelmator Pro. I developed a font that is similar, and sometimes, when I need a faster turnaround, like at a music fair, I use the font instead.
Thanks. It's a Soyuz 1973. I love this mic. It's a high end mic with personality, and a lovely tone, but at a pretty affordable price, compared to many professional mics out there.
Thank you! I’m a big fan of this mic. It’s called Soyuz 1973. In terms of mics it’s relatively affordable, but still high end, and with a beautiful personality.
@@truecuckoo thank you! I will definitely be checking this one out! The proximity effect sounds gorgeous and the S-sss are like velvet! P.S your PO sample pack sounds kick ass cool, unfortunately I don’t use there samplers. Let us know if you ever just want to sell the samplers separately:)
No, not for this pack. This is a sample pack with audio recordings. Although PO-35 can record audio, it’ll turn them into speech synthesis + a Tonic drum synth on the side.
This guy's brain must be one giant electronic instruction manual. I can hardly recall the basic operations of my Oberheim DX.
I'll take it off your hands if it's just collecting dust 😅
Yeah! I love this little machine!
It is a joy to use!
I purchased this pack and its very fun. You wont go wrong purchasing and jamming this pack. Keep the packs coming Cuckoo.
Thank you so much 🙏🏼

Your pack is awesome. Thank you for making it!
Thanks very much Mr. Cuckoo, maybe it's time to dust off that old microkorg patch you made a while ago and play with them all together
Oh, nice combination!

Oh yeah of course. It’s up to you to compose your own music with the pack.

Is there already a laser blast explosion cuckoo sound effects pack?
I love your style, beats and thumbnails, how do you do them please? Greetings from Santa Cruz Boliva!

@@truecuckoo beautiful cuckoo so artistic! Sorry my english
Awesome sample pack bro. May I ask what mic you use for recording your voice?

Should sample Cuckoo's sound fx in the intro
Really nice!!

Sound like tony Allen with a drum machine
Yes there is a flavor of afrobeat here! And it smells good
