It was supposed to be the ultimate celebration of handheld Sonic, but then they just decided to rush it and ignore most of it.
Classic remixes actually retain the bass of the original 16-bit tunes, only slightly modifying it. NicoCW followed that rule and did the same for this "32-bit" tune.
