I too am in my 'anecdotage' but slightly incontinent 😊
Oh... The language, the pronunciation, the accent, the voice... PRICELESS !!
Much love and respect from India, Sir , for a most gorgeous restoration 🙏🏼

Sounds subliminal. Seems to run really well. Enjoyed the footage immensely.

this sounds almost exactly like riding my 2022 350 classic with the hitchcock free flow exhaust. totally brilliant!

Jonathon it's amazing how pub landlords attitudes have changed. In my youth motorcyclists were pariahs often being thrown out but now as silver haired old chaps our Triumph Owners chaps are welcomed when on our weekly runs. I suppose a couple of pints and a feed coming to about £200 is very welcome in these post covid days

Thank you, excellent video, really enjoyed watching it. I am about to start rebuilding a Panther 70, the video has fired the imagination and given me the enthusiasm to get going. As an Expat Welshman living in Canada it also made me slightly homesick for narrow country roads.

Oue England is a garden, and such gardens are not made, by singing"oh, how beautiful," and resting in the shade.

Lovely exhaust note, I'm only a quarter of the way through but so far the bike seems to be running like a Swiss watch ! - Definitely a credit to you, especially given the state she was in before you got to work..

A delight to watch, well engineered and pragmatic build. I even enjoyed your ride out in the rain. Well done!

Those flat miles remind me of why as at touring cyclist I often headed for the hills and valleys of south-west France. "Anecdotage"; I'm going to use that. Greetings from a very hilly part of Brisbane Qld.

Thanks for the video. I noticed the tyres, Dunlop I believe. Look to be the original tyres as do mine.

Thanks for your interest. New tyres were from the Mitas classic range, which are in the style of the period. You can see more of the Red Panther's rebuild here:

Wonderful commentary, lovely bike. I like the comment about the "up for up" gear change. As a former Triumph man (long ago), I am getting used to the same problem in the opposite sense with the AJS I am riding now.

Somehow this put me in mind of the days I emerged at speed from an Alley by our house on my 350 single with short rev cone mega. At least in those times when It had an intact kickstart quadrant gear.

These bikes were that good, but are rare now because they were ridden into the ground.

51:16 - Uttering those fatal words 'that's running really well', is surely putting the owner at risk of disaster! 😧
I hope she is still going strong.
