When we lived closer, I used to pop there all the time just to go to the shop, they nearly always have stock of all current sets. They also (used to at least) have a Minfig Factory, which normally have exclusive prints to the location, eg London bus at Leicester Square store, but I’m not sure what the Windsor kiosks have as their exclusive print.
I was there at the start of the back holiday weekend. The big stuff i liked was significantly cheaper on Amazon (the technic Vtol and Mars Rover for example was £30 less on Amazon) so we got two of the star wars robot spiders and a couple of mini fig sets.
Definitely worth getting the Loop Coaster! It's pricey but such a fun set to build, does need a lot of TLC to keep running smoothly for multiple days at a lego show! Also didn't know you could do the ticket refund 45 min visit to the shop.. very useful thanks!
I only live 20 minutes away from Windsor Legoland and am very tempted to go there regularly to raid the PAB wall. So, buying the ticket, getting a refund, and getting out of the park were all very doable in the 45 minutes?
I like your channel as I only discovered it a few weeks ago. However not everyone can afford the sets that you are able to purchase. I have a £25 a month budget on lego which is good because I have look around for bargains and special offers. I usually buy the creator 3 in 1, speed champions and mech armour sets.
Get anna an access card you can then get in for free gives you more money to spend in the gift shop you'll also need one for the ride access pass for the few rides you do go on, they do now need to be booked in advance if you go with andy and annas scooter
@@blockpartyuk that’s why I stopped going just to the store because I didn’t get any point. So that good news might start going just to the store again. I too never saw any retired sets. Also some sets were more expensive than Lego themselves.Hope that’s not the case now.
I do get that and fair play to you that you are in a position to do so. But in the space of a month 1x £1000 haul, 2x £500 haul, 1x £500 pick a brick mention and multiple other spending sprees doesn't feel like the right way to go about it. Spending the amount someone makes in a couple of months in the space of 1 month seems a bit excessive and insensitive. Feels like the channel could be done a different way to be more subtle but still focus on lego without going for cheap views. I like you because you used to feel like a normal bloke but just feels like you've lost touch with reality a bit
I'm new to this channel and don't know Kev at all, but trying to make him feel bad for having disposable income and wanting to grow the channel seems a little low 🤨 if he's got a job that pays well and can subsidise his Lego addiction then don't try and drag the guy down because you're envious 🤷♂️ that's your problem.
@@jamesnash6865he mentioned it in a previous video that the reason they did the massive hauls at the start of the chanel was for tax purposes and then a majority (not all) of the spending since has either been new releases on release day to get the gifts or Store reviews which once he’s done them it’s not like he’s going to be able to go back around all the stores near him and do videos reviewing them again. think the content will just slowly shift to more being about the models once they’ve finished reviewing stores and taking advantage of some of the benefits they get by buying the lego now while doing that

I remember the big Minifig Factory, it’s not there anymore from what I could tell. Certainly not where I remember it being.
@@blockpartyuk Ahhh, that's a real shame. It's one of my fave things to do at Lego stores (at least at the stores who have them)

8:05 there is a full size build of the Green Lamborghini at the West Edmonton Mall location in Canada.

Thanks for the tips. Never been to Legoland or the Shop some day give it a try one day.
Nice tip about the parking barriers.
useful tip to know if we are ever down that way
visited the Cardiff store while down there over the weekend, lovely staff and lots of sets
That’s one of our missing UK passport stamps, so we’ll be over there before long!
Manchester has 2 Lego stores been to both to day with the Mrs for the pick a brick walls lol😂
theres actually 3 in manchester, we did them all last week while up for an event. 2 in the trafford centre and 1 in the arndale
Taking the plunge on little Mermaid 😂 classic Kev
I don’t even know I’m doing it anymore…
Love seeing this as we don't have a lego store in Belfast.
I Just got the Luke Skywalker Landspeeder set.
Have you been to the Brighton Lego store?
It is definitely bigger than Leicester Square
I’m guessing you can get the passport itself there as well I have no luck in getting one can’t seem to get one
I picked one up in Milton Keynes and a spare in Bluewater earlier this year.
£68 entry is crazy!! I know you got it back but that's a mad price still
Typical theme park entry on the day price

Yeah, we had time to spare
Good to know. Thanks for the video. It was exactly the info I needed to hear. Keep up the good work with the city.

And that’s what’s great about Lego - there’s sets for all budgets, ages and interests!
You will give in to ninjago eventually 😂

Will look into it, ta
When is the next Lego city vid coming out
Soon
£68 per person???? No wonder my dad refused to take me as a kid
It’s cheaper if you book in advance. All theme parks are expensive to pay on the day.
The shop is not Lego so you cant use or get insider points the last time i went.
All the Legoland stores in the UK have switched over in the last month or two, and now all use the insider programme.

Usually like kevs channels especially football manager content but this is fast becoming one of those "look how much we can spend" channels
It’s pretty hard to run a Lego channel without buying Lego!

I bloody love it. And still think he’s a good guy. Both things are possible.
