I used to love Lego as a kid but now I don’t play it. I like these videos cause I feel like I’m living vicariously through you despite it all ❤ I never knew there were so many crazy looking Lego sets tbh until now either
Awesome video, guys! You've got yourselves a new subscriber right here. Looking forward to seeing what you make of my local LEGO Discovery Centre in Brum. It's literally about a ten minute walk from my home.
6:18 There was at least x4 exclusive passport stamps to get on your trip there: Manchester Trafford Centre: The Bee & Store Specific. (plus the new ones that the UK release every month, so for March, this is Mario & a harp. Feb was roller skates and love dove, Jan was 2024 & Chinese dragon). Discovery Centre: Store-specific. Tip for your next LEGO Store: Ask for every single passport stamp the store has. Also, as you mentioned you'll be in Birmingham this weekend for April launches, Birmingham Bullring & Birmingham Discovery Centre (Brindleyplace), both have unique passport stamps. There's also a Brick LEGO Show in the Black Country the following weekend (Apr 6&7) should you be interested.
I live about a ten minute walk away from the Brindleyplace store, and can confirm it is an absolute treasure trove of assorted sets oof all kinds. Well worth a visit for any LEGO fan, young or old.
We got all March ones and both Trafford Centre ones, just missed out on the Discovery Centre because we were so excited we forgot! We’re back in Manchester in a few months though, so we’ll get that and the one in the city centre then.
You picked up a few nice pieces there. Bigger shops than what we have here in New Zealand. Have an awesome day!💥From Fun At Home (Hot Wheels, Lego, Cards, Stamps & collectables)👍
thats about the same PAB variety as you get in other stores, it's just they don't have half the wall being fake containers. If anything it looked like you get more selection, compared to stores I've been to.
Thanks! I’ve cheated a little - I’ve got a few other channels and have been making UA-cam videos for about 10 years, but still figuring things out on this one!
to my knowledge lego land discovery is owned by merlin entertainment who own thrope park and alton towers. these places dont have to follow legos store rules. e.g pricing and stuff and thus you can find some reitred sets often in them
You're absolutely right, which is why the LEGO and Sea World Discovery Centre in Birmingham are incorporated in the same building, as Sea Life Centres are owned by Merlin. 👍
Ahhh! They had the Grand Piano! I haven’t been able to find that ANYWHERE in Australia! I’ll be in the UK in May and I may have to hunt that down and just pay for extra luggage on the way home!
I live in Manchester, and have not yet visited the Trafford Centre shop... this is the first proper walk-around i've seen, and have to say that PAB wall is an absolute disgrace - the Arndale PAB wall is usually a disappointment, but damn, the Trafford Centre wall is pathetic... Come on Lego, wtf are you playing at!?! Also - not been in for a while, but the Discovery Centres were not operated by Lego, but by Merlin Entertainment which may explain the stock differences... last time we bought in there, they didn't put points on my VIP card... not sure if that's changed since!
Thank you so much for being so complimentary about the Legoland Discovery Manchester store! I’m so glad you enjoyed shopping with us! ☺️
It was a great store, we could have spent way more in there than we did!
Hear me out. Drive in movie theatre for the Lego city. With the screen showing the Lego movie…
Not really a lego fan….but enjoying it because of Kev & Annas enthusiasm.
Great haul guy's , i'm 57 and just found lego starwars , and i'm 2g down this month 😀😀
Be careful. They rely on people getting addicted. Seems harmless at first (it’s just Lego) but didn’t end up this way for many many people

Next time a £1000 haul. We need to see that
Maybe not just yet!
great haul video! safe travels!
You guys are hilarious!
Once again a great video. Can't wait to pick up a couple of them figs
Fab vlog kev and Anna will look out for some different sets for youse x
God, the new store looks really cool! The last time I was in Manchester, LEGO was still producing the Overwatch sets (major throwback) 🤣

I was at the store last July before the new shop opened. So addictive. 😊

Hey dude! Surprised how many videos you've done for such high quality content! Keep it up.

The Ardale Centree has a much better Pick a Brick Wall than either of the Trafford Centre shops.
Wa looking at the Lego Fairy Castle at Argos may have to build it at same time as Kev

It is a great set! I think it’s in stock on Lego.com in the UK
the scaled up minifig would look great next to the camp nou. Like a giant monster man on a rampage
please don't feel you need to explain yourselves about spending your own money. Great video guys
We won’t make a habit of it, but we’ve had a few comments so thought we should address it.
hard fit cant even lie bro
Do you have to pay to go in the Manchester Discovery centre store?
No
Why is that such a British thing .. pointing at something with your foot like anna did at 5:05 😂
I didn't realise it was only a British thing!
Yeah, there’s no Insider points in the discovery centre, but they did have the gift with purchase
Are there bargains though like Symths? That train set for onething..
My Daughter is 5: Was wondering, if she’d cope with like proper Lego or would Duplo be better
I think I was playing with both at that age.
@@blockpartyuk Thanks, I may go for a cheap Lego set, and a Cheap Duplo for her and see
Is there a batman tumbler lego set please? If so I'll look to order thanks
Yes, although it retires this year so is getting harder to find.
I don't understand why you need to explain you selfs about spending
You do what you want and enjoy it
There will always be jealousy out there
We won’t make a habit of it. But doesn’t hurt to have the explanation somewhere on the channel to direct people towards
“We are not going to buy much more in the coming months” didn’t age well. 😂
Lion castle or Mos Aisley? Decisions Decisions!
maybe look online for the table football online. i found it and i am from australia. i love ur videos.
I’m trying to stick to a rule that I can only buy sets if I find them in person as a way of sort of controlling how much I’m spending!
Good video guys
22% off Groot on Amazon for £34.98
gonna start saying snazzy
I need to start saying it less!
Will there be a giffrafe 😏
I already have one!
I'm glad I'm not a lego fan, a costly experience
Could just be my device but are the audio and video out of sync for anyone else?
It seems fine on my end
Fine for me too, must be your end.
Nice one but don’t normalise / encourage spending fortunes on fecking Lego
We talked about that at the end of the video
