Builds like this get me excited to play. I really like that there are people thinking outside the box. As far as how good is it, it's strong for a wand build. I feel like it's kind of gear dependent, but I could just have trash gear lol
You do something incredible with your guides that I don't think I have seen almost anywhere else. You go into great detail on WHY you're doing what you're doing. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. I'm still trying to learn about the game and that helps a LOT
As someone that still struggle to stick to one playstlye being wand/bow or wand/ sns I really like this build honestly didn’t even know u can equipped the same weapon 😮

I love a good theory crafting, outside-the-box type build and this is that! You took a little inspiration from BDO, you thought through how it would look in TL, and you made it happen. I play staff wand and probably won't use the 2 wands build, but the video is very useful and has a lot of tips about how wand dps works, 100% good video keep going
@@englishboy993 high focus ? As in a lot of concentration? I don’t think so . Just depends on the situation. If I’m focusing on being healer and have a good party then not so much. But if I’m focusing on healing and doing damage then yea I need focus. It’s mostly because my brain wants to use BDO inputs and I don’t have the controls in muscle memory yet .
@@englishboy993 ooohh I’m sorry ! Brain had a massive fart ! I personally don’t use it . For the build I use. It doesn’t seem to make that much of a difference. I think it may be more useful at its higher level. But I’d rather just more straight damage then the -.25 secs
I have a build similar to this using sns and wand. The biggest difference is I shred more resistances using the taunt skill from sns, and the sns generates me a ton of mana and healing and mitigation, while also giving me a bit of aoe burst to cycle between curse bombs. Also, because I’m not just curse bombing, the downtime for dots is closer to 2 seconds, but in exchange I also have a cc and mobility skill. Highly recommend disposing your toes into sns to take this build to the next level ^.^

You just got yourself a new sub, please continue the hard work and maybe....try out S&S if you're interested? I'm curious to see what'd you do with it! Thank you for going in depth on the reasoning behind your choices, rather than just showing the choices as a side note!
Its one of the strongest AOE bursts in game (even after they nerfed it). Most other classes AOE has caps. The difference is now you need Staff/Bow etc off hand and you can 2 shot massive Open dungeon packs. Others can do fast to but not when compared to being able to grab way more and no CDs because wand blocking resets. And zero downtime. Whole pack feeds your own mp and hp. Would not recommend unless player is a healer though.. Paladin/Templar tank too, unless they are investing in melee hvy. Down the road people will have more flexibility.

@@AI.Musicx91the build is dagger/wand. You’re not supposed to hold the wand out lol In large scale PvP you don’t really use the dagger for much besides Stealth, phantom and shadow step but in all other content you use the dagger mainly with wand curses/healss

@@AI.Musicx91 I wouldn’t do a dagger/wand alt unless you want to be healer in dungeons It really only shines in PvP where it has soooo much utility. In terms of raw PvE damage it’s bad tho. Probably half the damage that a regular dps set up has
@@chibifox7543 dual greatsword dual dagger dual bow all possible since you dont have to use other weapons passive and 1 weapon have enough skills to use to all your slots the benefit on this is that you can wear 2x dagger with different weapon passive and they both will proc.
Thanks for the explanation I was looking for someone to actually explain how curses worked. Why 2 wands and not a staff even if you only use like the mana reg skill and like 1 other , you still can load up the skill bar with wand skills right ? And you get the mana boosts
Thanks for letting me know we could even use the same weapon twice :) however, while it can give you Ok build, you will suffer from not having the extra bonus from your secondary weapon as well as losing one passive but you can for sure focus on more when it come to talent specialization :) Will have to play around with this a bit but I'm not sure how optimal this can be vs a well balance build using the best of 2 weapons
Kinda curious what you think of my healer build: I did spend some time to get the hang of an heal over time-related healing build, where i rarely really use any direct heal from the Wand. I tried it at first with Bow/s&s but sadly the healing amount was atrociously bad. I swapped over to Bow/Wand, which is obviously the better choice in the first place but i just tried to figure things out. I use the Janice's Rage to increase damage of the whole party since i really dont need a big AoE direct heal anyways. I also use Time for Punishment and Deadly Marker to help with dps'ing cuz i simply dont have much damage skills so i try to compensate it with a bunch of offensive buffs. Then i use blessed barrier and invincible wall as defensive cooldowns and only heal with Healing Touch, Nature's Blessing and Circle of Life most of the time. I like the way how people get filled back to max HP over time and the interaction through the Vitality Specialisation is way underrated, as well as Healing Touch is underrated by itself, imo. Even though i am kinda sad that Bow/S&s didnt work out well, i still am kinda happy with my build since it basically is the exact same vision i had before.
I feel like stat dumping beyond 50 wisdowm costs you a lot of useful stats elsewhere. And with all the increases to timers you're running I'm unconvinced that high perception is the way to go either. I think the real stat boost you might not be considering is strength. DoTs can heavy attack, and if they do they deal double damage for their entire duration, which means an even bigger curse explosion after the extended timers. I think aiming for 50str/50wis will be the way to go, and it will also make you a much harder target to kill in PvP building for endurance/hp with high strength.

The same weapon typ doesn't make much sense cause of the missing passives you have of the 2nd weapon. Cause depending what you play the wand passives aren't all that good 🤔
so I have 1x Tome of Lequirus and 1x Dagger of Lequirus. Is there a difference going wand/dagger in this case? note that Lequirus Daggers also has Wis/Per as attributes :)
What does dual same weapon type do to your mastery skills imagine you can't stack the xp, wouldn't it be better to just use a different weapon even if you don't slot the skills for some of the mastery passives?
i think its more for the fact you carry over the bas stats form the second weapon. like if you have 2 of the same epic wand and both give 6 wisdom. then you are guaranteeing 12 wisdom

Noob question here, but i don't see the option anywere (or you're just too fast)... Fountain of life can be autocasted in yourself (i mean, whiout you have to press skill two times or click on your feet, just press and then it casted on your feet) ?
Unless you have friends or are part of a guild that runs content together. I would think using a niche build like dual wands may lead to difficulties in being accepted into groups with people you don't know. Cause your not using one of the so called normal meta combo of weapons. In plenty of online games if you're not running one of the meta builds you tend not to be accepted in groups.
Of course the universe sends me a build that i wanna try so bad while i'm out of town and just finished maxing my bis dagger and selling a lequiris tome. 😭
You know that if you add fire spells from staff, then you will be hitting harder with this skilli that remove dots and dealing more dmg the more dots enemy have on him?

To transfer this to DPS wand in PvP is the ultimate goal to break all taboos, Wand/Dagger would do it

@@englishboy993 i say yes. 50% cooldown reduction mean ur touch of despair has a 2.5 second cast time rather than 5 second.

NGL the burst dmg is actually so funny. I wasn't expecting that

From my understanding Crit and Heavy Attack both work with dots, but "allegedly" only if the 1st instance of damage on cast crits/ha

BDO has one of the best combat. TL combat feels a little cluncky.

no each weapon has 12 skills 2 of which are the Epic skills that require the precious skill books to rank up all same cooldown

Hey there nc Video is this just single target pve and aoe pve build? Can you play pvp with this as well ?
DOTs can crit on the initial hit. So if you crit on the initial, all of the ticks will be “crits”. You’d definitely want high dex/crit chance for dots
